A chance to cure boredom (Zero vs Mizo)

Post by Arisa~<3 on Sun Aug 09, 2009 12:57 am

A light shiver trails up the spine of a young kunoichi as she stared up at the heavenly sky above. There was only a gentle breeze blowing across the meadow. Zero was standing directly in the middle allowing her thoughts to wander. Off in the distance the crash of thunder could be heard. She was miles away from the storm, and to her great surprise it was heading in the opposite direction. Only bad luck on her part would cause clouds to roll her way. Her eyes narrow as the tension she often felt between her shoulder blades started giving her discomfort. She felt stranded slightly with the lack of scenery around her. She was in a large meadow which held only few flowers, and many weeds. It was a nuisances and she felt naked without cover. The surrounding trees were few and far away. For a normal person it would probably take them close to 20 minutes to actually reach the trees from the middle of the meadow. For Zero however it would probably take less time.

Then again even that wasn’t enough time if the man she was called out to meet were to show up early.

Another loud crash of thunder in the distance causes Zero to wince. Another emotion flashes across her face. It was annoyance. The discomfort in her muscles was starting to become aggravating so to sooth it, she starts rolling her shoulders. The tension seems to fade slightly as the thunder grows dimmer and dimmer. The air around Zero felt cool and slightly calming, although she could have gladly dealt with out the thunder near by.

The desire to remain in the middle of the meadow soon leaves Zero. Before the fight were to begin she needed to reach the location. Quickly she takes off in the direction of the trees and soon seems to disappear. It was times like this she was grateful for learning simple academy jutsu that made her life easier. It took her but only seconds to reach the trees. Her speed was nothing compared to others, hers was probably average…

The sun was at its peak, casting a gentle light through the branches of the trees surrounding the young Nara female. These shadows did not mock her, instead they gave her a peace of mind and appeared form in to many different beautiful shapes like a work of art. Where there was darkness around her, there was still light. Despite her ability to control shadows she always preferred being closer to the light.

“Come on I’m here on time. The forest surrounding the huge ass meadow, yeah how can someone miss that? You're instructions were simple enough to follow. Meet you here...ugh hopefully here is the right place.” She mutters softly to her self. She lacked confidence already and didn’t want to be made a fool at failing to locate a simple spot. Sometimes she felt crazy and belittled her own abilities, but she wasn’t completely insane. Then again, her opponent was not someone to take lightly. He could have already been there for hours waiting for her. Zero was unwilling to drop her guard like she had so stupidly done earlier while waiting to approach the meeting spoke. Every second was vital to her, and quickly she resumes a sort of prepared stance to ready herself for the worst.

Mizo sat in a tree watching the girl as he held his hand into a handsign He let out a small smirk as he placed his hand into the tree. He flipped out of the tree and whispered a inaudible phrase as he vanished from site. However all it was is his stealth mode jutsu. He placed his hand onto the ground and soon moved so he was behind her. He performed a handsign and soon clouds of mist began to form and cover the area making it zero visibility.

He then whispered something inaduible again and soon regained his form of visibility placing his hand onto the ground closing his his eyes as his toungue flicked over a seal on the left side of his cheek. A mess of needles were summoned into his mouth about 20 of them he then smirked as he opened his eyes.

His eyes glowed a a light red that did nothing to change the mist or make him lose any stealth. He looked through the mist now seeing in different spectrums of blue, green and red that changed to heat and he could see the girls natural body heat. He smirked as he moved in closer slowly and silently she was prey to him and he was the predator ready to strike.

As he got close a seal on his tattoo glowed and soon a pair of claws became evident on his right wrist. His heart beat lowered and his breathing became almost nothingness. As he became part of his mission he remebered his orders flash into his head. ’Eliminate on sight’

He let his hand flex and he swished the needles in his mouth as he soon flipped forward and slashed down at her neck and if it hit she would be over and dead. However as soon as she moved mizo was ready to spray the needles at her from his mouth. He hopped that this would be over so he could get back to Rain and make sure she was safe.

Ooc: Sorry short

Ooc; Yes...Zero is an idiot and very out of character...sorta...but this is for fun so hehe enjoy? <3

In all of the horror movies Zero has ever witness, when something creepy happens like say clouds, mist…or even lights going out, usually results in some ghost or scary person creeping up behind their prey and then WA LA! They are suddenly dead and the audience screams in utter terror. Now while this is happening, members of the audience, and even the actress playing the prey, get this strange feeling. Such a feeling like someone is behind them. That strange feeling was applying right at this very moment.

Something was off about the forest and when some fog, clouds, whatever Zero decided to call it in her mind, started forming, that feeling like someone was creeping up behind her, started to cause nerves to bundle together in her stomach. The haires on the back of her neck stand on end. The fog its self was nerve racking enough, but she couldn’t shake this feeling that something bad was about to happen. Call her a dumb ninja for being ‘scared’ but everyone has their moments…at least that’s what kept Zero from feeling like a complete and utter weakling.

When the mist had first surrounded her, Zero started to perform hand signs. As the feeling in her stomach grew more, she spins around and slips backwards. Feeling as if the world was in slow motion Zero could swear she saw something in the mist trying to kill her. Freaking out, she lands on her ass and slams her hands against the ground and says something that’s sounds like a jutsu in a panicked voice. Pillars then shoot up from the ground in front of her short of shielding her and at the same time trying to skewer whatever may be been behind her before she had spun around. As all this occurred the only thought running through her mind were, that if she were to survive this she would never be able to watch another scary movie the same way…ever!
