Appearance: Regularly seen with a lazy expression. He wears the normal konoha genin uniform, and equipment. Two pouches strapped to each thigh. Containing kunais, shurikens, paper bombs, and senbons.

Personality: Lazy, Mysterious, Smart, Sarcastic. Kind if you are to him. Tends to stay away from anything that might result to a Troublesome result, active activity, and responsibility. He might seem like the kind of person you wouldn't want in a team. But really, he has a sense of commitments to those who are 'close' to him: comrades/team mates. Willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of his friends and village without a second thought. Could also be classified as a Strategist. Always has a back-up plan. Even a back-up plan to support his back-up plan. :')

History: Chinou was giving birth to in Konoha just like most of the Shinobi's residing in Konoha. His family was of course part of the Nara clan. His dad descended from the line of Shikamaru. And his mom from Yoshino's part of the family.

At the age of Five, he was starting to show the interest of being a shinobi. He'd often go to the Academy, and 'spy' out the Shinobi's there. What they were thought, how they fought, and hence forth. He'd come home and practice it at the backyard, failing most of the time. His father acknowledged this, and decided to help Chinou.

At the age of Seven, Chinou had almost 'perfected'- almost, no one is perfect - the techniques of an Academy student. He knew from A-Z what they were thought in the Academy, and more. At this age, his father decided to enroll him into the academy; he was enrolled. He was smart in his works, and every thing he did. And the teacher took notice of this. In battles, he was a strategic shinobi. He fought from a long-distance, barely from a close distance, and with success.

At Nine, he was still in the Academy. By now, he'd learned the Shadow Imitation technique. A well-known nara clan move in Konoha anyways. He'd also learn the basic techniques all Shinobi's were supposed to known. He'd always been the laid-back type, not lazy yet ... always taking things slow. So he asked his Father if he could skip the coming Genin exams, and participate in the next. So he could 'perfect' his techniques by all means, and know more about being a Shinobi. He had sat among the spectators, and watched the Genin exams. It was a pretty fun sight for him. He enjoyed the battles, and wished he'd be participating at the moment.

He was now eleven. Smart, lazy, sarcastic. He'd developed those personalities during the years. Well, not smart anyways ... being smart was sort of his families special trait. He was now ready to participate in the Genin exams. He stood there in the arena, awaiting his opponent. He had the lazy expression on his face he'd had and developed in the last two years. He wore the normal uniform of a Academy student. His opponent arrived, and they battled it out. He won, and was exhausted. His opponent was specialized in Taijutsu, making it hard for Chinou to make distance between them both. But he managed to do it. He'd already previously past the test that required the students to perform randomly selected E - ranked technique. The teacher at that time saw every was performing it with ease, and thus decided to have a battle, just like the Chuunin exams. Passing the exams, he was giving a Head protector which classified Chinou as a Genin, and finally a part of the Shinobi force. He was now going to be assigned more responsibility. He hated that.

The next three years that followed, he had been giving his element test, and gotten Doton/Earth. He learned more techniques, and trained more. He had been gradually becoming less-active as the years had processed since he was nine. Now, at fourteen, his favourite thing to do was to take a nap, read more history, and basically anything non-active.

Name of Jutsu: Shadow Imitation Technique

Description: The Shadow Imitation Technique's original purpose is to delay pursuers in order for a team to flee. With the use of a hand seal, the user can stretch a shadow up to twice the length of all of the shadows the projected "shadow" touches combined. If a target is captured within the user's shadow, the result is that the two combatants will mirror each others' movements. Therefore, the two can throw shuriken at each other at the same time if the user desires that ( of course to prevent hurting themselves the user just has to have the shuriken holster in a place where you don't normally have it, like the back.)

Weakness: The major downside of the Shadow Imitation is that it is tiring to use repeatedly, as seen in the Chunin Exams when Shikamaru Nara was paired off to fight Temari in the finals. If the user is low on chakra, the performance rate of the technique deteriorates. Hidan also notes that the ability is subject to some form of diminishing return and decreases in potency after repeated use. Another downside to the technique is that the user is only able to stretch, contract, or expand their shadow to its total surface area. Though this is an advantage during the times of dusk and dawn (as shadows are at their largest then), it becomes a major problem during the time of mid-day.

Description: A technique unique to the Nara Clan. The user will disappear into the shadow of an nearby object (can't be their own shadow.) The user then can travel into another shadow to either escape or appear behind their target and kill them. A great technique when used in conjunction with Silent Homicide Technique.

Weakness: Can't be their own shadow.

The defense is not perfect though, since a hard or drilling impact can puncture the wall. Also, since this technique only guards frontal attacks, the enemy can easily attack from the side or even from above.
Weakness: User can be attacked from the sides, or even from above.

Description: This technique changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground, one can sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. One can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy can't reach. Tobi used this attack to hide some Exploding Clay underground. Deidara used this technique to escape damage of one of his exploding suicide clones in the fight against Team Guy, and Team Kakashi.
Weakness: I guess if you are too close to the surface of the earth someone could severely injure you with a jutsu ... with that of the earth you are underneath aiding the jutsu.

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him.
Weakness: You'd be stupid to use it in front of your enemy, because they'd be easily able to cut off your head. Lol ..

So the Element affinity for all Nara clan jutsus would be Hidden? And the type of jutsu would be hidden as well, not ninjutsu? And what do you mean by "locked to me". I can't use it?

Basically, it means, respectively, that the shadow techniques can only be learned from the Nara clan, and at your current potential, you cannot use the shadow disappear jutsu.

Changed my element. Will remove the locked jutsu when my laptop is restarted.
