[code]Name of Weapon or Item: Akujiki
Location: The sheath is strapped to the persons back pointing upwards
Description: Akujiki is a cursed katana. When the original owner of this blade is killed, the blade latches to the assailant. When someone has Akujiki, it lays dormant and only works as a simple katana. But, when the blade tastes the blood of the owner, it becomes awakened. This katana's curse come from China, the blade feeds off the yin of the slain. The more yin it feeds, the stronger it gets. The blade however, will need to be fed some more. If the blade goes without feeding on yin, it will begin to feed off the life force of the bearer. Extended time in which the blade doesn't feed on yin, the more the blade will feed off the bearer until it dies.
History: In China, a swordsman lost his blade in a war. The swordsman asked a blacksmith to fashion him a new blade. When the blacksmith finished, he took the sword to his home and engulfed the blade in his malice and hate. Then he let the blade taste his own blood. The sword began to glow bright red from the taste of it's master's blood. The swordsman took it to war the next day and he decimated his foes. When the war was over his sword hungered for more. It's master refused to kill anymore and soon the blade began to feed off of him. Valuing his life, he went on a killing spree to satisfy the blade's hunger. He killed men, woman, and children, both innocents and foes alike. His country needed to get rid of the swordsman. So they sent all the armies in the country to kill the swordsman. When the soldiers caught up to him, he couldn't stand to kill anymore. He refused the will of the sword, and everyone watched as he was defeated by his very sword. The men took the sword and destroyed it. They scattered the parts of the blade to the far reaches of the world.
One day another blacksmith came across one of the parts of Akujiki; the hilt and handle of the blade. He used this to make himself another sword. The soul of Akujiki lived on. He took it with him to his home and fashioned a blade for it. Once the sword was reforged he could feel the history of what has happened in the history of this sword. He then decided to lock it in a place where no one could find it. When the day came for his son to begin his ninja training, he gave the blade to his son and told him to never let the blade taste his own blood unless he really needed Akujiki. And to this day Akujiki's soul sleeps.
