Description:This Bloodline, is known to be the unique Bloodline of the Mugendai clan, the clan of the Blind. Jouten-kankaku is the single reason why the Mugendai clan hasn't died out yet and is also accountable for them being Ninjas. You see the Mugendai are born without the ability to see, thus one would assume they could never be Ninjas but the Jouten-Kankaku makes up for the Blindness. Jouten-Kankaku grants it's host Superhuman Senses of Touch,Hearing,Taste,and Smell and as a side effect of the enhanced hearing a sonar-like Radar, though the Bloodline activates at the age of 5.

Sense of Hearing: Jouten-Kankaku enables the Mugendai to detect an acoustic pressure change of one decibel at a pressure level of seven decibels whereas the lowest threshold for average human hearing is twenty decibels. An elite member of the clan such as Jounin can also hear a person's heartbeat at a distance of over Thirty five feet, Chunnin level and up Mugendai can hear people whispering on the other side of a wall. at the tender age of 6 members can control their hearing thoroughly enough to block out specific sounds like their own breathing and heartbeat, all ambient sounds to a normal human level of perception, or all sounds but a particular sound they're concentrating on. Members of the clan suffer more distress from very loud sounds than an ordinary person without the Jouten-Kankaku would. Thanks to the Jouten-Kankaku, people of the Mugendai clan can detect whether a person is lying or not by listening closely to their heartbeat, this ability however can be evaded if the person knows how to control their heartbeat so this shouldn't work against high level ninja. Also members of all ranks can identify people by the specific patterns of their heartbeats.

Sense of Touch: The Mugendai's sense of touch is so acute that they can feel the faint impressions of ink on a printed page allowing them to read by touch. Even with their senses of smell and hearing blocked, they can feel the presence of a person standing five feet away from them simply by their body heat and disturbance of air due to the sensitivity of their skin. A side effect of their sense of touch is the ability to manipulate their muscles and internal organs. The sense of touch is not only external, but internal as well ergo their central nervous system thereby giving them the ability to have total control of their bodies which means they can increase their strength and reflexes to near peak human levels and their agility all by 3x if Genin 6x if Chunnin 12x if Jounin and 24x if Kage.(That list accounts for Strength,Reflexes, and Agility)


Sense of Smell:A Mugendai has the ability to remember smells enabling them to identify any person they have spent at least ten minutes with (4 Posts) by smell alone.(Weaker members such as Chunnin and Genin it takes up to 20 minutes or basically eight posts). No matter how he/she might try to camouflage his/ her natural odor. Chunnin and up can concentrate to focus upon a single person's smell and follow it through a crowd of people at a distance of twenty feet.

Sense of Taste:The Jouten-Kankaku enhances the sense of taste to a level so high that a Mugendai can detect the number of grains of salt on a pretzel. A Jounin caliber Mugendai has the ability to remember tastes enabling him/her to determine every ingredient of a food or drink they taste, as long as there are at least twenty milligrams of that substance present.

Sonar/Radar:Due to their extreme sense of hearing, thanks to the Jouten-Kankaku the Mugendai have a built in cross between sonar and Radar. Due to the Jouten-Kankaku the Mugendai can hear the faint echoes of sounds as they bounce off nearby objects giving them a simple 360º 3D map of everything around them within a 9 meter radius.This “sight” is not perfect, and can only give the Mugendai an impression of the exact physical shape of objects, not a literal one. Closely overlapping objects can also confuse this ability.

Weakness: The Jouten-Kankaku's superhuman senses render the Mugendai extremely vulnerable to excessive sound, odors, etc., which can temporarily weaken their sonar( For two to three posts). If they are bombarded by too much sound at once, the Mugendai can easily be immobilized also causing them great pain and leaves them disoriented(For Two posts). They are unable to discern pictures or video and they can only guess at colors based on the amount of heat the colors are absorbing or reflecting.
