History: The story of the Souzousha clan starts as long as 800 years ago. This was when Ashura, the demon god, had roamed the earth and used his powers to spread insanity throughout the world. Originally they were created by Ashura to act as his servants within the world of mankind and for about one hundred years that was the purpose the clan members fulfilled. However this changed as more and more people of the clan wanted to live their lives on their own and not under the influence of Ashura. Ashura didn't approve of this however and made an example of them by destroying them. This kept the clan fearful of him but didn't stop them from growing in size and spreading out. They stayed his devoted servants though and did his bidding all the same to make sure that they stayed in his favor, otherwise become extinct like anything else that the god didn't approve of.

For many more years the two powers lived as allies, until one day when the demon god started to get paranoid delusions that his servants may not be his servants for long. He could see very clearly that the Souzousha clan was growing in power very quickly and feared that if it continued then they would soon rise up against him. This being the case the demon god started to try and kill off his creations and as predicted they fought back, not to overthrow him, but to stay alive. The fighting lasted for a few years, due to the very real strength and numbers of the clan at the time and sooner or later it would need to come to an end. However it was not the clan that would end up being victorious if things continued as they were. Thy knew that there was no way for them to kill the demon god, and he was not going to accept them again. This being true the strongest of the clan that remained decided to try and seal him into them, hoping that he would die with them. At the final stand of the clan they attempted this and managed to succeed, with a grave cost. The battle almost wiped out the remaining clan members and the sealing killed their strongest. The all powerful Souzousha clan had fallen from the most feared clan in the world, to a pitiful group of weaklings. None the less they were alive and that was good enough for them.

As the years passed, the clan started to grow once more and with the times they changed, especially once the time of the shinobi had come to be. The Souzousha clan once again was able to claim their power in the world and as the shinobi world became strong, they did as well. They first set up their new roots within Iwa and from then on they lived strong. This would changed however when once again the power of someone became too great and it upset the balance. This time it was the Daimyo they served. The people staged a coup d'état and to prevent themselves from being killed in it, the clan had no other choice but to leave Iwa for another land. They would find their place however in Kirigakure not too long after their leaving of the earth country. They decided to set up arrangements with the Mizukage and with that made a strong ally. From that point on they lived within Kirigakure, serving as shinobi for the mist village. As time passed though things would once again become harsh, this time not simply because of the Souzousha clan, but because of people with kekkei genkais in general. In a bloody fight for survival, the people of Kiri and the members of various clans fought for survival. The Souzousha clan was also caught up within this fight and it left them with a great deal of damage but not annihilation.

Years after the attempt of genocide of those with kekkei genkais, the Souzousha clan returned and set up within Kirigakure and once again set up their ties with the Mizukage. From that point on they managed to live normally without too many complications. However they tried to keep out of the shinobi life a bit as to protect themselves a bit due to past troubles. Their troubles would once again start up though when the return of Ashura came. As the newest child of the clan, Mitsuko was born, it was found out that she bore the mark of the demon god and from that, their fears once again surfaced. From this point on the clan became more involved with the mist village and dealing with Mitsuko. This young girl bore a mark that could destroy the entire clan and being that they sought help from the Mizukage. From that point on the story of Mitsuko is how the Souzousha clan has continued on until now and to this day the clan helps the mist village in their research and trying to track her down.

The clan also has a very unique fighting style in which they have created using their kekkei genkai in combination with their Ashi (chakra). This unique fighting style is called Debiru Souzoubutsu.

Debiru Souzoubutsu is a unique fighting style uses Ashi and Ijin Kurie Shon to create things called Bekutoru. Bekutoru are tentacle like things that are made up of Ashi. These tentacles are usually very sharp and are very useful in combat, whether it by close or far ranged. Due to the versatility in battle, Bekutoru are capable for the use of offensive or defensive means and can be created as long as the user has Ashi to create them with. The user can create as many Bekutoru as they wish and control them with their mind. These Bekutoru are also a trait passed down to the clan by Ashura to act almost like hthe extra arms that he possessed. Anyone from the clan can use this fighting style and those who have mastered it are capable of combining it with their taijutsu, enhancing its power in combat.

Ashi (chakra): Ashi is the unique and dark chakra that Ashura possesses and therefore the members of the Souzousha clan posses. It is much like normal chakra except that it is thinker and slightly more powerful. Combining Ashi with various ninjutsu and taijutsu makes those combined moves more powerful and they take on darker appearances. Also unlike normal chakra, Ashi is very visible when being used and looking into it is like looking into a void of darkness.

Black Blood: The black blood that Ashura possessed has also been passed down through the Souzousha clan. This blood is always black and has various healing qualities to it. Though these qualities are minimal for normal members of the clan, combined with Ashi (chakra) they can be enhanced to heal more damaging wounds. Also this strange black blood is a strong and powerful base to the Souzousha clan's jutsu and kekkei genkai, as well as their unique jutsu. The more under the influence of Ashura a clan member is, the more this blood boosts their abilities and healing powers. For Mitsuko this blood already is stronger in its healing capabilities due to Ashura sharing the same body as her, but it is still not as pure and for greater wounds needs Ashi (chakra) to heal quicker.
