Grass seemed to run all around the area around Kenshi. From either of his sides, miles out seemed to be covered in a plain of endless green grass. Feeling so out of area and so exposed, Kenshi had to calm himself a bit, to realize that he actually was alone. The sun itself seemed to hang in the sky like a giant red egg, the morning sky began to give way to a new day. Winds filled Kenshi's nose with the smell of morning dew and soft dirt, giving the whole area a very earthy feel. The grass swayed back and forth in the wind, bending and answering to it's push. Hills rolled as far as the eye could see, meeting the morning sun at the horizon. A peaceful morning for a shinobi, a peaceful start and beginning, something that all shinobi fought for. But in this very peace Kenshi would be up to something that rivaled the very definition of peace.

No doubt in the oncoming hour, blood would be spilled on the green grass. Tainting peace with a battle, Kenshi would go all out against the feared Raikage. The past told stories about the Land of Cloud, all available for Kenshi's knowledge. He didn't know who he was up against in terms of powers, but the fact that he was the Raikage told Kenshi he would have great power none the less. Kenshi's Uchiha crest flowed from the back of his shirt along with the wind, making him seem stuck in a restful state. In the corner of his lip he chewed into a tall blade of grass, crossing his arms in wait from the direction that the Raikage would show up.

Raziel sighed as he paused just under the gates of Kumo. He reached back and felt the handle of his sword, assuring himself he was there. he was clothed in his white trench coat, his Mitsukai uniform. Simple, but everyone knew its meaning. He opened his eyes as he breathed back in. he saw all the land outside of his village. That whole landscape was every much his to protect as what lay behind him. It was all Lightning Country. It was all his. He set out, the sun was low in the sky, signifying a new day. This was not something he did very often. A threat that he was informed only he could take on was headed toward the village. He had taken the neccesary precautions to ensure its safety..

It took hours before he caught the pressence of the Uchiha he was intercepting. In another five minutes, he saw him, and confirmed the identity of Kenshi, the most feared from his clan to date. With in another minute, he was in range to talk and commence battle if need be.

I am the Archangel, Raziel, turn back now, or I will have no choice but to end your journey through life itself here in this area. It is your choice, it is simple, life or death, make it now, hesitation will indicate the latter of your options.

Seeing the Raikage arrive from the destinate area was a good sight. Kenshi felt the blood running through his veins, pulsing quickly with each passing moment. His legs and arms began to shake a bit, wanting to burst out at the man. The feeling and excitement of a battle was certainly making it hard for him to control the killer intent that surged throughout his body like his own fast beating blood. Smirking a bit in attempts to calm himself down, Kenshi let out a slight laugh as the Raikage spoke. The grass in his mouth boobed up and down as wind came from his mouth in the form of short laughs. Kenshi smiled and spoke.

"My my my, aren't you the hasty one. You truly are fearsome great Raikage, but today I want to put that body and mind of yours to the test. In death or in life, we'll see who was the greatest here today. Don't you think it'll be fun? We can toy around with each others lives like the Gods."

You have no conception of just how fearsome I can really be Kenshi Uchiha of the Hidden Leaf, but you may just find out this day

Raziel growled at the Uchiha, ready for battle. He was not waiting, he was not playing the assassin game here, not yet anyway. He would lure the opposition in, give him what he wanted, and then use it to fuck himself in the end. That was his ideal outcome of this match, though against the mighty sharingan, anything was possible, especially if the rumors were true that Kenshi had achieved the godly Mangekyou. He could only hope that these were only rumors otherwise, well it could prove to be quite an upset to his plans. However, he did not think that the Mangekyou would change everything. Raziel had a goal here, protect his village, he had a true purpose. Maybe Kenshi had just been luring him out here to fight, maybe his village was under no real threat, but he could not take that chance, he would not gamble the lives of his villagers. They deserved his fullest carring and protection, and that is what he would give them.

Reaching down quickly he produced three kunai from his pouch and launched them at Kenshi. As he launched them he doubled over and bent his forward knee slightly, giving him a good stance. He let the momentum of the throw carry his arm and shoulder line over, shielding his hands from view as he made five quick handsigns that Kenshi could not see. As he finished he glanced back up and saw that the kunai were know with in a foot of their intended target, perfect timing. He repeated the handsign he had used at the end of the first string and all at once, the three kunai exploded. Now there were two varriables for Kesnhi to deal with. The first was the explosion itself whcih would be forcefull enough to throw him back and also cause some first degree burns, nothing brutal, but effective later down the road. Also he had metal shratnel launching at him in little metal splinters. His eyes were in grave danger now. The splinters puncturing anywhere would prove much more painful then a wooden one. It woudl cloud his mind a little with any luck, but he was really hoping for some eye damage. If even one found those red and black eyes, Kenshi would have trouble for sure.

However he could not leave it all at that. He used the chance now. cover granted to him by the explosion, and ran to the his right, Kenshi's left, drawing his sword, and closing in fast from an angle. Kenshi would not walk away from here.

So many attacks and almost no time to react. Kenshi was truly in a little predicament, but it was just a predicament, a problem if you will. His eyes could see the problem and the solution if needed. The Raikage however was showing his seriousness in battle, not playing around with Kenshi. Kenshi didn't want him too, but he didn't expect such an attack to be thrown in the first hand. What Kenshi had to do was keep his calm, and if he couldn't do that he would surely lose. As soon as the kunai were thrown into the start of the battle, Kenshi activated his Sharingan, but didn't expect the kunai to do much. Turning on his Sharingan a bit too late, Kenshi could see that the kunai were tagged, and thus the problem of exploding kunai became his predicament. However, the Raikage wasn't going to be finished any time soon. He didn't catch him move or anything, but suddenly he appeared at his left with a sword drawn and everything. He was surely trying to kill him.

With a quick burst of speed, Kenshi gave himself some room. Bending his legs and sliding his left foot back, Kenshi faced the Raikage, watching whizzing pieces of shrapnel fly in between them. Jumping back and extending his legs, Kenshi pushed back away from the black cloud and the Raikage in one move. Surely he wasn't going to be done in so easy. As he flew back away from the attack, Kenshi pushed his right foot back into the ground, halting back to a stop on one leg. Before he could stop, he focused his speed into his right leg and turned it to the right bending it, and bursting off about 3 meters away from the Raikage's left, creating room for himself. Reaching back into his pocket, Kenshi returned the same gift, sending three explosive kunai towards the Raikage. In the same way he exploded them, sending shrapnel and dust up between them. Now out of his line of sight, Kenshi reached in his pocket and grabbed a scroll, flinging it open rapidly and summoning several shuriken into battle. Prepping them in his hands, he waited for the Raikage.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Guest Tue Jul 28, 2009 2:01 pm

Raziel smirked behind the mask which concealed the bottome half of his face. This was ultimately beautiful. Kenshi had no idea what exactly he had gotten himself into. He was another kind of ninja all together, he was an assassin, and as such, had the means to conceal, hide, and appear almost anywhere with in a moments notice. He was the Raikage for a reason. He was quick and powerful, the elemnt lightning was potrayed in human form by him. He WAS lightning. Initiate Ghost State

Immediately he began to feel the arcane jutsu taking effect on his body. He felt himself become lighter as gravity lost its power over him, though he remained on the ground. The color of his whole body remained the same, but yet, it became less solid. IF you looked close enough you could barely make out what was on the other side of him. The shrapnel whizzed through his body, not making a single mark on his body and his grin remained. He rarely went into this mode this fast, but knew that you couldn't fuck around while facing the mighty power of the sharingan. To do so would be to find yourself dead. He was now intangible to the physical realm and all the things it included with in its boundaries. He was no longer bound by the laws of physics. He was a being of another kind. Raziel thought to go into THAT mode, but figured he would save it for later.

Raziel stepped straight through the smoke and out on the other side, now face to face, a mere two meters from Kenshi. He took note of the shuriken he was getting ready to use. Holding his sowrd beside him, he began to speakThose wont do a damn thing to me, so you just wasted your time, you fool. You have no clue what you've brought upon yourself by calling me into battle. And I havent even begun to begin yet. Im barely even warmed up. He pivoted quickly and flung his whole body to the right, moving in an arc around Kenshi. He was now three meters to Kenshi's left. It was time for another move. Form this distance it would be blindingly fast, and the only way Kenshi would be able to dodge it would be the use of his sharingan, and even then, the attack still had a high chance of success, of course, there was always his back up plan.

He made exactly four hand seals and opened his mouth, but no words came out. Instead, a large blast of electricity erupted from behind his lips, launching out towards the nearby target. The reason it would be difficult to avoid was its intense speed, especially at this range. The bolt split into four , extending out, encompassing a higher range, increasing the success chance. However, each blast would now only paralyze, not kill. Then again, Raziel was nearby with his sword ready, so if Kenshi couldnt move, He would simply phase the blade back into existence, and impale the son of a bitch.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Hatake Tane Tue Jul 28, 2009 2:50 pm

Whatever he was up to, it was NOT cool. By uttering a few words he'd basically scrapped all of Kenshi's techniques in a second. What he was up to, Kenshi didn't know, but he would surely have to use some of his brain to be able to figure it out. Even with out his Sharingan, he would have seen the kunai instantly phase away from his body, as if going right through him. Physical attacks would not play to his advantage, so Kenshi had to count out a lot of his ninjutsu, but there was still some that he could use. He was S Ranked after all, meaning he wouldn't be done out by just someone getting the ability to phase.

As he stepped through the technique, Kenshi's eyes could not tell the difference between him being intangible or not. His chakra, the entirety of it was still there. Being thankful for knowing that regular shuriken would work, Kenshi mentally counted a plus for himself as the Raikage appeared not to far from him. Even to phase right through the smoke, surely Kenshi would have a troublesome time with him. Listening to his speak, Kenshi responded. "Well well well, you have me quite fatigued at the moment, I can hardly catch by breath. But surely sarcasm won't phase through you even." In that instant he'd moved quickly in an arch around with, ending up on his left side.

His hand movements were seen by his eyes, but his speed would be blinding to any one with regular eyes. Catching a glimpse of the seals, Kenshi put his knowledge to work and thought about the attack. Before he could finish his thought pattern, the Raikage opened his mouth and spit an unbelieveable technique out. To see someone burp up lightning like it was the after effects of a soda, surprised Kenshi to say at least. Instantly covering his hands in chakra, Kenshi prepared for the attack. It had split into four parts, but that was easily solved. "Quick Hand." Instantly out of no where, a bunshin appeared next to Kenshi, in fact moving his way right in front of him and bending down. "Koteheki!" In unison both of the clones aimed their hands at the technique, displacing there chakra in the jutsu, Kenshi and his clone literally slapped the technique away. The chakra in their hands protected them from the effects of the lightning leaving them safe. Kenshi quickly backed away from the Raikage and his power, flipping several times to about 15 meters away from them. Keeping his eyes on him, Kenshi followed up with an attack, pointing his finger at him. "Utakata"

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Guest Tue Jul 28, 2009 7:42 pm

Raziels eyes went straight to the flurry of motion, his assassins eyes couldn't help it. However, nothing happened, at least not right away.A single handsign, yet nothing is happening. Hmmmmmmm, sounds like genjutsu, but I fell nothing in my body, and I would be able to tell if there was a genjutsu afloat. Unless its a high level genjutsu, in which case, I may be in a spot of trouble here, but nothing to major, for now I continue to attack according to plan.

Since Kenshi had previously responded to his attack with a simmmilar move, Neeva decided to do the same. This was one of his most favorite techniques, just because he hid it so well. The ink on his leather covered wrists was virtually undetectable, even to the sharingan, there fore, it could not be seen that he had seals placed upon both his wrists. These were summoning seals, and he was about to unleash them fully on Kenshi. He made a single hand sign and small poof of smoke emmited around his lower arms. From the poof slid six kunai each. He grabbed them from the air and through them one by one expertly at Kenshi. He was unloading on all of the death spots, namely the main veins. He couldnt tell which was the real one because he had not take the time to do so before unloading into this attack. However he was not quite done. Not even half way.

He shot into a longer string of handseals, totaling about eight. At the completion he called it out. Shuriken Kage Bushin Of course he was using kunai but the effect was all the same. Each Kunai split untill there was not six, but Sixty-Six. They all sped towards Kenshi at alarming speeds. Now he was halfway done for now. As soon as he called out that jutsu he quickly made four more handseals, not trying to hide it this time as he had with his first move, and this time he called it out as he created a fifth seal, the exact same as the fourth. Free Will Explosion Jutsu All of the kunai exploded at the exact same time, sending waves of metal spliners raining down on the two. There were even some slightly bigger pieces this time around, large enough to create a serious gash. Again he had waited till it was extremely close, so teh explosion would take effect as well.

At this point Raziel charged forward and leaped up, channeling chakra through his feet, carrying him just above the explosion. He activated the seals on his wrists, which he could now only do twice more before they were emptied if he continued to draw this number of weapons. This time he brought on six shuriken and aimed them all at a downward angle, so even if Kenshi moved back or two the side, for he had thrown these in an arc around him, there was still a high probability of at least a single hit. Also there was no way for Kenshi to in fact tell he was up here, he would be to preoccupied with the blast.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Hatake Tane Tue Jul 28, 2009 8:08 pm

His genjutsu had failed, but like always he expected it to do so. He never really hoped to catch anyone in any of the simple genjutsu techniques of the Uchiha, but there was always hope that someone would fall for it. Kenshi wasn't about to get beat out now though, but he knew the Raikage had a lot more from where that last technique came from. Kenshi kept his eyes on his chakra and even though his tool attacks would phase through him, Kenshi would still have to think of something. With the kunai blocking his finger from the Raikage's eyesight, Kenshi had to focus on something else to get the Raikage. His mind was still in overdrive, trying to think of everything that he could do to block. With kunai in his face he couldn't do anything.

Instead of taking the time to think, Kenshi watched as the many kunai whizzed towards his face, ready to impale him. Taking the scroll again, Kenshi summoned even more tools with a quick press, forcing out a large amount of shuriken that would slightly match the number that were coming towards him. It was no matter though, the set already in his hand was large enough. Coating the several shuriken with hot-fire like chakra, Kenshi threw the white hot shuriken in the air. "Dance of the Spiraling Shuriken" Without moving that much, the shuriken took their position, surrounding Kenshi in a quickly spinning ball of white hot chakra. Suddenly a detonation went off, interrupting the shuriken, but as he extended a bit of his chakra out to them, Kenshi kept the white hot ball in perfect shape.

Through the white hot flame, Kenshi could see that the Raikage's chakra was gone. He had a hard time though, he was literally surrounded in his own chakra, but at least he knew that the chakra which was before him was gone. Taking time to look in almost all directions, Kenshi couldn't see him, failing in doing so by his own merit. However he'd had a back up idea just in case. 'I'm not gonna be able to see him while I have these white hot shuriken around me, they're full with chakra, so it'll be difficult. He can phase through attacks, but I wonder how chakra will affect him. None the less, he's going to phase in to this technique, I can bet on it.' With the vision blocked, Kenshi quickly put his hands together, doing a string of handsigns. Jumping in front of him to the near edge of the technique, Kenshi turned around, which would have had him turned around at the Raikage if he hadn't have moved. Holding his breath, waiting for something to pop out, Kenshi hoped he could figure out the Raikage's jutsu.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Guest Wed Jul 29, 2009 4:55 pm

Raziel watched as Kenshi expertly deflected every last one of his kunai and shuriken attacks. It was a beautiful defense he had to admit, and he liked the style very much so. Now his target was cloaked in a dense dome of molten metal more or less. His eyes narrowed and a devilish grin splayed across his face. This was just so perfect. As he fell, the shuriken cascaded down and most of them hit the dome that now protected Kenshi. They instantly began to liquify and bubble in a silvery color, shining in a metallic brilliance from the heat below and the sunshine cascading down from above. This was working out perfectly for Raziel. Based on his own actions from before, he figured Kenshi would have discovered the threat to his own person by using this technique, had he already forgotten that not to many moments ago he had been attacked by several bolts of lightning. Oh no, this was going so much his way it wasnt funny.

As he fell down, Raziel once again drew his sword and held it down in front of him, aiming striaght down, almost as to impale something below him. As he went he deactivated his ghost state, once again becoming completely tangible and one with the physical realm. As he fell sparks began to form around his body and he opened his mouth, growled his next jutsu, softly so the opponet would not be able to hear him, Chidiori Nagesh and as he spoke a field of electricity erupted around his body and the blade which moments later split earth as he landed hard on one knee and the flat of the other foot, a yard in front of the heated surface that now "protected" Kenshi.

Instantly the electricity shot out along the ground at a mere whim of Raziel's. It was a current and his to control as he wished. He looked up as he watched it travel along the ground. The line dissapeared under the dome, slipping in between the bottom and the earth. Less then a second later, the whole entire dome lit alive with electricty, thanks to the still melting shuriken he had rained down on Kenshi, their metallic nature conducting the electric attack like dead trees would wildfire. The bonds between the melted shuriken began to break and cease existance, and almost all at once, the dome collapsed. Now Kenshi had to deal with attacks from above and below. The intial current he sent out which would attack him from his feet, possibly paralyzing him, and raining down liquid metal, an after effect of the electric current interacting with the metal surrounding him. This had not been the intial plan, but it had played in his favor, or so he hoped. He failed to see how Kenshi could counter this, but if he could, Raziel was anxious to see it.

Even if he did, he would probably spend that whole time counteracting this vicious attack, leaving him wide open for his next attack which he set up for now. Lightning Clone He sent the copy over and around to the other side of the dome as fast as he could. Now we see how he deals with this. Then maybe I'll start getting serious

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Hatake Tane Wed Jul 29, 2009 6:13 pm

He didn't expect for the Raikage to be this powerful, no where near that level of strength. In the dome his suspicions were wrong, and he had to pay the price for that. We wasn't out of it yet, he had a lot more fight in him than just what he'd shown the Raikage. It looked like he was at the sure disadvantage of the battle, and to himself Kenshi admitted he was, slightly. In his mind he was thinking something else, more like a developmental test going on. A series of questions that where subtly getting answered by the Raikage without him knowing. With his jutsu failed and his world a shock by lightning, Kenshi gritted his teeth as he took the attack. Containing his chakra while tensing up all his muscles was hard enough, but for an S Rank success played off great. However, he was pissed that he got hit, but he had to keep his cool, it was the only way he would come out in the end. By paying the price to take the attack, Kenshi jolted back, being repelled. However, his eyes were purely on Raikage's, his hands gave away all his jutsu.

The clone was comprised with a different "look" of chakra than a normal Kage Bunshin. Putting it together was not hard. Kenshi assumed he'd charged the clone with his elemental affinity, thus making it a lightning clone in stead. Kenshi didn't have time to think, but he had to get out of the way of the clone that was behind him. Throwing both of his feet down, Kenshi slowed his distance between him and the clone. Turning his feet to the left, Kenshi bent his knees and floored it, jumping off at least about 10 meters away from the lightning clone. With the tools of his jutsu a complete failure, Kenshi would have to choose not to use them again. Tools could link lightning, something that he didn't want to fall for.

Staying away from the Raikage, Kenshi looked at the clone and the man, wondering what would happen next. He needed a cool down phase, his legs were still a bit jittery from the attack. He'd learned a lot about the Raikage just from that one move, but it was the collective knowledge of all his actions that he'd been combining into one lump sum. Kenshi jumped back again once more, keeping the range between them about 20 meters. He kept his eyes on the Raikage's focusing them towards his face. Kenshi would see everything, and even if the clone moved he would have time to react, and plenty of time to dodge. Calming his breathing and clenching his muscles to regain the feeling, Kenshi...waited.

'I wonder how much patience this old man has...' Kenshi thought.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Guest Wed Jul 29, 2009 6:45 pm

Your a tricky son of bitch you know that, but I am far from finished with you Uchiha boy. If it wasnt for your sharingan, you damn well could have been dead already. Fate kept you alive this long by placing you in the right family that is all. I will have your head mounted in my office as a symbol of my villages greatness, to show that not even the almighty Uchiha clan can stand before us. As trivial as it may seem to you, there are one or two ninja in my own village who would have no problem defeating me. I hate cliche's but this one is fitting. Hell hath no fury like a kumo nin, period.

As he said all of this, Raziel had been creating a long string of handsigns, taking advantage of the effects brought on by his electric shock. He kept his Spirit Eye focused, as he would need it surely to make this work. There was no guarantee of an intial success, but he would do his damnedest to try. He focused in on Kenshi himself, and performed his jutsu. Black Mist Coffin Jutsu He stayed focused on Kenshi, making his body the focal point of the attack. As he deployed his chakra, the air around Kenshi began to get hazy at an alarming rate, the water molecules multiplying and becoming pitch black as the jutsu implied. With in seconds, Kenshi was no longer visible, and his sharingan would no longer be able to track him. The cloud reached out 15 meters in each direction from Kenshi, leaving Raziel five meters between himself and the cloud, he was safe from its effects, but Kenshi surely was not.

The mist had three stages, the first should have already taken effect, where all senses aside from taste were closed off. His hearing should be faltered, sight was obviously gone due to the thickness and color. Taste, well if he opened his mouth the mist would go in and numb his tounge, eliminating that factor. Smell, was impossible in the thickness of the cloud, cloaked by the thickness of water molecules. The second stage which still had a while to take hold, would temporarily shut down Kenshi's chakra system, rendering him unable to perform jutsu. The final stage, all the molecules would come together at a quick and powerful rate, crushing the target. For now, just the first stage would take effect but that was all he needed at the moment, for his clone had been prepping for a jutsu of its own, a one time thing.

Chidiori The clone cried out as it charged forward, its right hand alight with a cackling blue light, electricity, again. This was a suicide move for it. It charged straight into the cloud and instantly, the lightning left its hand unwillingly, being conducted by the nature of the water. The clone itself got shocked and dispersed, sending off its own charge, increasing the voltage of the attack. The whole cloud would become alight with lightning, and Kenshi was in very real danger here. If he got shocked, he would become temporarily parlayzed, long enough for the second stage to take hold, and Raziel already had a plan to keep him in longer if this was successful, effectively killing off Kenshi. He could only pray and keep his chakra sense on Kenshi to ensure he had been hit or not hit.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Post by Hatake Tane Wed Jul 29, 2009 7:31 pm

A calm mind had payed off. After getting attacked by the Chidori Nagashi, Kenshi's first move would have been to deal a punch to the Raikage's face, but he couldn't do that. He would have to remind himself to stay calm at all times, to keep his brain working at a good peak. His muscles were now calmed down from the lightning technique after resting, choosing not to attack was smart, because pumping chakra through jittery limbs would make the technique worse on his end. His spiky hair was already more spiky, standing on end as his body began to calm down from the electrcity. Kenshi was lucky his eyes were focused on the Raikage, it would make things so much easier. Listening to the Raikage, Kenshi decided to wait, wondering whether he should respond or not.

Suddenly as the handsigns and speech revealed a water ninjutsu, Kenshi read every single one of them and prepared himself for an attack, thinking water dragons would come rushing towards him. However Kenshi was met with a different type of ninjutsu, that similar to the Hidden Mist Technique. Keeping his eyes alert for the clone Kenshi quickly turned his head in its direction, and turned back once he realized it didn't move. This technique though was different, leaving Kenshi to quickly become enveloped in black mist, something that Kenshi feared was extremely dangerous. The Sharingan gave him another surprise also, the technique seemed to reach out about fifteen meters or so all around him, encasing him in the technique. Still, he had to remain calm.

'What do to, what to do, what---I got it', Kenshi thought. Giving a bit of chakra to his curse seal, Kenshi felt the black pattern flames envelop over his whole body. Creeping down his arm, to his chest, to his legs and his whole body, Kenshi began a transformation. As the curse seal spread, Kenshi's skin began to turn a dull brownish color and his hair began to grow longer, turning completely white. A pattern like a shuriken appeared on his face in a dark black color, leaving the whites of Kenshi's eyes to do the same. From his back two nodes began to grow, wriggling around until small hands formed. With webbing and small like fingers inside of the webbing, the hands grew and grew, big enough to cover Kenshi in a shield, however that was not his plan. Kenshi looked towards the clone, hearing it scream 'Chidori'.

The Raikage was smart, he was going to use the black mist to block his vision, while the clone attacked with a Chidori. It would keep Kenshi from seeing the attack, and the lightning would spread throughout the thick mist and shock him again. Kenshi didn't want that to happen. Bending down, Kenshi jumped up, flying out of the mist, and about 15 meters in the air. Using his massive wings, Kenshi beat them back and forth effortlessly, keeping his distance from the technique. Kenshi reached into his back pocket, grabbing four explosive notes and four kunai. Tagging the head of the kunai with the note, Kenshi quickly created four frag grenades, throwing them down into the mist and watching them explode. The mist looked a bit different, and Kenshi didn't expect the blasts to do much except push the technique out a little bit and send shrapnel at the clone.

Now fifteen meters in the air, beating his wings at a steady pace, Kenshi took time to respond to the Raikage. "Everyone hates the Uchiha because we have a Sharingan, I don't get it. It's a tool that we use in battle, just like the Byakugan and even the legendary Rinngean. It's just a technique, that no one can copy. Can't we have something special too? You seem to be a good, wise man, don't you think it's fair that we can have a tool to use in battle? It's all about the strongest techniques right? Isn't that what got you to being Raikage?"

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Whoever said I hated the Uchiha. That never crossed my lips. Your mistaking my meanins, as should be expected from the arrogant Leaf Village Raziel smirked up at his opponent, this was just to great. His enemy had resorted to outside sources of power at this point, that meant he was gaining the upper hand, he had pushed the man into a cornor, and he had had to use a curse seal to escape. This was going exactly as planned. It is not about who has the better techniques, but who can deploy their techniques in a better manner. Granted, having powerful jutsu does help, but this is not key to victory.

Raziel continued to look up, gazing at those massive wings, surely Kenshi was in a very comfortable environment at the moment. From here he decided a new approach. He would study his opponent. He made no move at this stage, but was very much at the ready, Kenshi was far enough away that he had plenty of reaction time. This had become a long range battle, and really, he had no current means of getting to him. He could set up a very unique way of getting to this target, but what a waste. He was sure that Kenshi had his ways to try and trap him and do him in at this point, but he was not so easily gotten rid of. Raziel was just now starting to get serious. He had kept Kenshi at edge, showing he wasnt to be taken lightly, for doing so would spell Kenshi's death. Raziel just stared upward, preparing for what ever hell he was sure to receive at this point.

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

Listening to the Raikage speak, Kenshi thought of what he could say. Currently he was out of his opponents range and out of his technique. How would his plans play out now? How would the battle progress? Would they just play cat and mouse until one of them were caught? Being at the advantage, Kenshi did not want to waste any time, or chakra. His curse seal, which was just an imitation took little chakra to activate, but the advantage of it played so well in battle. Kenshi reached into his pocket and withdrew about three kunai with tagged notes, flicking all of them at the Raikage himself, sizzling near to the target.

Cat and mouse would have to be played. Kenshi would have to use his advantage for the longest and wait for the mist to die down. If the mist didn't move in a little while, he would have to change the battlefield or go out somewhere else away from the mist. Either way he didn't know the extent of the Raikage's technique. It looked like he couldn't move it up, but Kenshi didn't know if he could move it side to side. Either way he would have to play around with his advantage and use it to his fullest.

"It's what you implied old man, it's what you implied. You're right that didn't cross your lips, but it sure seemed like you hated us Uchiha. However, I'm not arrogant as you speak of me. The Leaf Village, the founders of the ninja world were powerful. It's not my fault that we rose above all the nations and became the most powerful. Sorta like how I rose above you, huh?" Kenshi smirked. Waiting to see whether the Raikage was out or not, Kenshi prepared himself for his next move, and hopefully one that would hit.

Raziel sighed as his black mist finally let go and dispearesed, disappearing in the wind. He continued to look up at his opponent who was currently, again, attatching tags to a few kunai. It was plain to see.He was taking his fair old time. The kunai quicly left his hand and rained down upon him. Such simple tasks. Ghsot State End As he became completely tangible once more. Sword still in hand he leapt back and away, it was easy to do, fifteen meters gave him plenty of time to move. The whole time he kept tabs on Kenshi, waiting for him to make a move. He was not ready to act, and Kenshi could only wait for so long. .....................................

Kenshi vs Neeva Empty Re: Kenshi vs Neeva

By the actions of the Raikage the moment that Kenshi had taken flight, everything had been confirmed. All of his plans were useless if he could stay out of his range in the air. Thus limiting the Raikage to an expert and mid-close range ninjutsu and taijutsu. Kenshi had an advantage over his opponent, but he would only use it if needed. He could use the imitation curse seal on the ground, or he could stay up in the air for literally as long as he wanted, but there were still things he wanted to know. The Raikage seemed to have two equally good elemental affinities, sort of like Kenshi himself. Fighting him would be interesting by the least.

Reaching into his pocket, Kenshi grabbed several shuriken, and flew up into the air, flapping his wings at a high rate. Getting higher and higher, he flew up into the clouds until he was probably out of the line of sight of the Raikage. As he got high enough, he changed his path down, taking a nose dive ten meters away from the Raikage. The mist was gone, meaning it was not a threat anymore so he could get close. As he barreled down towards land, Kenshi suddenly flared his wings open, slowing him down to the ground as he landed, slamming down into the earth. Dust and cracking earth were seen around him as he flicked his shuriken towards the Raikage waiting for his response. Kenshi kept his curse seal active, after all it was just a mere imitation with no power behind it. "Come on old man! Fight me!"
