Yaguri Issui: Tengu Kage spirit abilities

Personality: (When Kyo (Battei) and Riku post as him) Yaguri acts much as his appearance dictates. Having no emotions at all, he often is seen as cold-hearted or cruel. However, this has also proven to show good qualities as he find no need to fight unless ordered to. Most of the time he will remain silent unless spoken. When it comes to Riku and Yaguri relationship, they have truly started off. It has only been recent since Riku and Yaguri been user and shadow spirit. Riku might hope to get closer to him as a friend, unlike his father who was quite cold externally to his shadow spirit.
Skills/Abilities: There are two categories that fits for the user and the spirit:

The first category is the "All for one and one for all" ablility. Now intitially, both the user(Riku) and the spirit (Yaguri), become one. However, they may become one fighting wise but both consciouses are still in tact. Both conscious will interact with each other. What differs physical with Riku and Yaguri is that Riku has tremendous amount of chakra while Yaguri has better control over his chakra. So, in order for Riku to utlize the genjutsu portion of Yaguri's abilities, he would have to switch chakra system and control. That also means that he cannot utlize the ninjutsu part of the Tenshu Hitokoki (Molecular Manipulation, since that is custom of his chakra system and not Yaguri's). That is the one negative side. The second negative side is that if Riku is using Yaguri's chakra system, ninjutsu, genjutsu, kenjutsu and his chakra runs out, Riku cannot transfer over his chakra in order to replace the missing chakra for Yaguri. The positive side is that he can switch over freely at any time nessecary.

The second category is the Tengu Kage assistant mode. This mode is prefered by many of the shadow users. This is common and is very useful as the spirit acts like a second teammate. Just like a shinobi, they can act as a reinforcement, typical shinobi attributes that is common among a fight but with assistant mode, Yaguri can use his shadow to enhance fighting for Riku. Also, in the assistant mode, Yaguri is able to move around freely to be used for scouting, spying, attacking, etc.

Description: A general shield that intitally takes a small amount of chakra to activate (hence the C-rank level. However, the range can differentiate in strength). It's general ability is to block both ninjutsu, genjutsu taijutsu. If a taijutsu user were to attack (i.e punch, kick, etc), the shield acts like a slow moving quick sand and will start to swallow the opponent (Regardless of how much chakra is put into it, the absorption is still slow moving).

Weakness: If the user does not know what the level of power the attack is, the shield will break off soon after it turns into form (I.E, if Yaguri were to activate it at C-level range and the attack was A-level or S-level, there would be a problem. However, if the shield was C-rank and the attack the B-ranked, then there is a momentary pause before the shield would burst and this would give the Yaguri a chance to increase the level of defense but Yaguri has to reconize it first). The user and the shadow must be highly perceptive and must tell what rank.

Description: A common way for travelling and staying out of sight of the way of the typical sensory shinobi and other shinobi around. Because there is always a shadow around, all users can walk into the shadow and disappear out of sight and away from harm. Usually in the realm of the shadow, it is the always darkness and those who are users and shadow spirits can see in that darkness. There are certain pathways that the user and spirits can take to reach a certain destination. Depending on the time of travel it takes, it typically takes half the time a person to go from point a to point b. Anyone who follows into the darkness and does not have permission by the user or shadow spirit to travel with them, will not be able to see. Even if they are a sensory shinobi, the sense's would be in a giant jumble so the difficulty of finding the way out is extremely difficult and would be dangerous to travel in.

Weakness: The initial weakness and probably the only weakness is that if there is no shadow present, they cannot shadow travel and if there is no shadow present at there destination, the person would either have to wait till a shadow opens or go to a different location.

Description: Because each shadow has an individual ability that makes them unique (Hitoshi with Seishin), sometimes those that is somewhat recessive comes into play. One of the major abilities that Yaguri has is the ability to use weapons and mastering them to there full extent. With the shadow, he can form a weapon at cost of chakra of his choosing. Mostly, Yaguri can use the sword he had when he was alive and can enhance it even more. Yaguri other arsenal is that he can create spikes from underneath the ground or from any available shadow that Yaguri can see or sense in a 10 meter area. The spikes can also be used like a shuriken and thrown at a open. One other weapon

Weakness: Because this is more of a supplementary type thing, the only few weaknesses he has is that if he wants to create more weapons all at once, he'll need more chakra and that will cost him. The more higher devolop the weaopn is, the more chakra it needs.

With the spikes, the range is about 10 meters. Any more cost an additional chakra that exceeds the B-rank range.


History: It was truly something that would be consider a coincedence but Tengu Kage's have a saying that some people were meant to become shadows and live forever. Shikama has a saying that when the first leader of the Shikyo family, Atrum, came and defeated them, he said it was the envitable. He knew someday someone would defeat them. Though, it would be quite hard to imagine for Yaguri, a person who had intent on killing the target of Sousuke Unagai but instead became a immortal was probably not on the "to-do list for life" for Yaguri

After being killed by Keen, one of the leaders of the Neo Akatsuki, during a travel expedition for Riku to meet his cousin Battei in Sunagakure, Riku believed that Yaguri did not need to die like that. Regardless of how cruel Keen did to Yaguri's body. Yaguri's life was on the verge of being taken away by Death himself. Yaguri's eyes met with Death's eyes. It wasn't cold like people say sometimes. People say that Deaths' eyes are cold and relentless and that would be a matter of opinion. People see Death's eyes differently. Some say it's cold, icy, almost something a person feels when they are alone physically and their mind becomes hollow and ice cold. The eyes show fear, true fear that a person hates to see. Even the most evil of men fear the eyes. But Yaguri did not see those eyes. The eyes was welcoming to him. A embrace a child has when they care hugged by there loved one, a mother or a father.

It was there that the eyes lighten up and Yaguri heard a voice that he heard when he was alive. He couldn't understand. He never heard this lanuage in his life but it was a voice that he could reconize as the shinobi who was standing on the tree branch. Then, Yaguri embrace the darkness. There was no sting of death and there was no embrace where he felt the overwhelming sensation of death staring at him. It was more like a comfortable sleep.
