Microfilament Wires Empty Microfilament Wires

Post by Riku Shikyo Sun Aug 02, 2009 12:40 pm

Name of Weapon or Item: Microfilament Wires

Location: There is a type of "Spool" behind Kyoko's dress that supplies an almost an unlimited supply of these wires (Although it can only go up to 600 meters, she hads the Tengu Kage's shadow ability to expand the unlimited supply, but even that it has a limit to its ability"

Description: These wires are very long and seem to almost orbit around her body when she walks, when she walks the wires began to move in random directions and make a type of cling sound when they scratch together, due to the sharpness of the wires, the wires are sharp enough to slice through steel and concrete with no trouble though she can use them to bind and restrain targets without damaging them. Because there was no Shikyo member who could actually master these ability without the proper use of telekinesis, it is said that she has this ability due to the fact that she infuses some of the shadow into the wires, which allows her to have total control due to her experience with shadow mastery. Kyouken, because of his mental connection with Kyoko, also has this ability to use the wires, however he does not have any wires on his body to perform techiniques and when he does, he rarely uses them in battle. Kyoko, however, uses them constantly in battle.

In battle, she combines both acrobatic manuevers, her taijutsu prowness, flexibility and durabilty to use the wires in synchronization. The wires themselves are extremely dangerous to both opponent and at times the user, when the user uses too much strain on the wires, the wires tend to cut through her hand (even though she is wearing gloves that should easily protect her) and tends to make it hard to wield when her hands are bloody.

The wires themselves are extremely resistant to most elements, if not all. The only elements that have problems managing is water because at times, if the water master is useful, the water could seep through (depending on the amount of pressure used to reach inside of the mircrofilaments). Its extremely useful to fire and lightning due to the fact that most of it is a type of metal combine with adamantum and its conductivibilty is useful against katon and raiton users. Fuuton and Doton users are equal when it comes to defensive, however combating against them is not the trouble, it is the defense part.

Against physical attacks, the wires can hold off even the strongest of shinobi who could probably punch a hole through inches of steel. The wire can withstand in alot of pressure and force due to the wires literally absorbing much of the impact and then releasing it out through the ground or back at the opponent by whipping the wires around and creating a "fist" that releases back the impact.

History: Kyoko was proficient in taijutsu that she is considered a prodigy in the subject, but the problem was that at times, her close hand to hand combat skills were at times meaningless if she was fighting up against someone who went for long range or even aerial types of range. It made Kyoko quite useless to the fact and because there was not alot of weapons that were suitable for Kyoko, Pravus made his top scientist create a type of weapon that was extremely light, strong, durable and can reach ranges that were among reasonable. The result, mircofilamment wires. It worked with the user and allowed Kyoko to not only combat people who used magic (at the time, there were only magic users and a few shinobi user) and long range combant with ease. Soon, she had truly mastered the arts of mircofilament, giving her the title "Flawless Wires of Death".
