History: The Masanori clan first began in Kumogakure by a female named Sakiko Kichiro; the daughter of Dairu. She didn't of her ability to till her later years, after she married another shinobi. Together, they had a daughter by the name of Eri Masanori and from there the clan continued to build and build. It wasn't until later that members started being born with 'odd' colored hair and vibrant colored eyes; a unique trait for this clan. Their abilities and knowledge over their kekegenkai Ranton, the name later changed to Arashi, soon began to build.

Later in the years, the clan spread out from Kumo and into the other main villages. There was at least one member in each village, big and small; enough people to fill all of Konoha and more. Ranks were established and in each village was one leader that ruled the members of that village. Then there was someone who ruled over the leaders in each country. From there there was the Head Leader, this person ruled every single member of the clan; normally lived in Kumo. The people lived in peace and clan decisions were always easy to make.

However, that peace did not last forever as a man within Konoha hated how everything was ran and planned to destroy the leaders and mainly the head so he could take over. He wished to rule by power and fear, to use the other members as puppets. He gained some followers from each village, all moving to Konoha into a newly built clan household. Feeling over crowded, other members soon moved out into the other nearby villages, allowing more space for his followers to reside. At the next meeting the plan to kill the main leader took action and the gathered people moved out. Despite their effort, the plan failed and all his followers were either captured or sadly killed. The man managed to escape and hid in one of the smaller villages were the least members could be found. He burned his headband, a sign of leaving the clan and a way of the clan saying that member is never allowed back in.

For years he lived in hiding until soon he tried once more, gathering members to take down the leader. This time, they were ready and the leader sent in a secret assassination team to take him down. The team was killed surprisingly, no one knew exactly how but a rumor was spread that it was all by the hands of one man.

More time passed and the man finally made a move, going in personally and attempting to kill the leader with his own hands. The leader was more powerful though and brought the man to his knees. The man cried and pleaded and thus was shown mercy, but as the leader walked away a man soon arose and murdered him. The plan finally was a success and the man took over. In anger, the leaders head group took action but the group was slaughtered by the one henchmen the man had. He truly brought fear to the people, and despite their numbers they were to afraid to retaliate. Numerous people burned their headbands and the population grew smaller, those who did were then hunted down as wanted members. The kages couldn't even protected them due to clan affairs and the leader's lies of them betraying the clan.

This went by for ten years, most of the clan wiped out due to death penalty for small crimes, retaliating, or leaving the clan and going into hiding. The once great Masanori clan was now a thing of the passed, ruled by a ruthless leader. Soon people from other clans from Kumo moved in to slaughter, the Raikage finally seeing the Masanori clan as a huge problem. All were killed yet again by the one mysterious henchman. A kage meeting was held and a decision was made, after hours of decision, to assassinate the remaining members of the clan and mainly their leader.

One by one, people died, innocent or not. It was believed that only the leader and the henchman remained. A special squad of the villages' top shinobi were sent in, giving the two a difficult battle. Hours went by in this fight and soon the man was brought down. However, the squad was killed by the henchman, the leader surviving. The henchman then left, seeing his leader as worthless as he disappeared. The man was alive but was paralyzed and lost his ability to hear, see, and speak. His body was taken away to somewhere unknown and the few remaining clan members hid.

Later, the villages decided that the clan was no longer a threat and removed them from the wanted list. They were heavily watched though, making them resilient to breed with other people and create new members. It was like this for over fifty years until the new kages decided to stop their watch until they saw a problem again. The bad reputation lingered but majority of the members were dead. The clan was thus believed to be extinct. This wasn't the case due to being in hiding.

In this clan, ranks are established to set order and are based on power and skill of the ninja.
The clan is believed to be extinct, however there is always the possibility that other members exist somewhere in the world.

-Each rank is determined by the leader, normally based on skills and abilities, however all start out as Tane (seed) and work their way up.
-Each rank is also be determined by a different color of head band.
-Those who are missing-nin get their headband removed and burned for they are not allowed back into the clan; unless under special conditions and leader's approval

• Tane (Red) -Beginners/where each begin
  
• Shishou (Green) -Middle/normally teaches the Tane and follows Musha
  
• Musha (Yellow) -Higher-ups/just below Hogosha
  
• Hogosha (White) -Just below the leader, help make important clan decisions
  
• Shidousha (Black) - Leader
  

Note- Tane are those who cannot learn storm manipulation yet but have learned the basic elements.
Shishou are those who first begin to learn how to manipulate weather.
Musha are more skilled, there's a big step between Shishou and Musha
Hogosha are the more advanced users, coming close to the leader her/himself



Clan Traits/Characteristics: Members in the clan are highly known for their vibrant colored eyes; like a neon green to even neon orange, and their odd colored hair. The original members of the clan had burning red hair, sea blue hair, purple, storm gray, and of course the original colors; blonde and black. Every clan member also is born with a tattoo somewhere on their body, normally their upper right arm. This tattoo signifies something about the person; whether personality, what animal suits them, elemental match, etc. Never has anyone had the same tattoo design.

Clan Personality: Members of the clan were always known to be rather laid back individuals. However, there are occasionally some bi-polar individuals in the bunch and Tane are normally known to have frequent mood swings. As they raise in rank and become more skillful; they are known to be very mellow people, almost always calm. This is all mostly from being in sync with weather, it influences their moods. Some examples include; being sad when it rains, happy when its sunny, mellow when its overcast, etc. Those who learn how to control their emotions are not effected as much, but sometimes cannot help help themselves.
