Spirit Cuffs

Name of Weapon or Item: Spirit Cuffs

Location: Both wrists & Both ankles

Description: These cuffs were placed on both wrists and ankles and can only be moved by controlling Chakra. In other words, if Kiyoshi ever wanted to move again, he would have to fully master the use of his Chakra. Furthermore, the cuffs limit the user's true power. When removed, the user's Chakra capacity increases dramatically as well as natural strength and speed.

Also, it is not possible to remove the Spirit Cuffs willingly without knowing a certain "Password" to unlock them. Both of which are quite different for both users and will only be granted in their knowledge if they have a distinctive need to remove them.


History: Once Daisuke Hikaru was training under Maya Natsume, she placed these Spirit Cuffs onto him as a means for Daisuke to learn better Chakra Control while at the same time, keeping his sword spirit's chakra locked. Since then, Daisuke has had these Spirit Cuffs on for 8 years and has an abnormal amount of strength because of the fact that it weighs him down.

Around 3 years prior to getting his, Daisuke placed these spirit cuffs onto Kiyoshi to learn the same lesson in Chakra Control and has extremely similar effects thanks to having them on for 5 years.

Kiyoshi can remove them himself, but he has to say a secret word that Daisuke placed in his mind so that he would only know it when he absolutly had to.
