Hissori NPC's Special Items

Name of Item: Hissori Oil Gourd

Location: On Kouen's hip

Description: This gourd contains a special flammable oil that is mixed with the users' chakra. It can be set alite through normal means or by the user igniting his chakra (this oil only works for users with a Katon affinity). This oil can be used for multiple things, such as placing on weapons to give them fire damage, or even placing it in the mouth and spitting fire at your enemies (the oil has a non-toxic composition). If the user is experienced enough, they can cover themselves with oil and ignite it. Instead of burning the user to a crisp, it makes them immune to Katon techniques for one post.

There is enough in the flask for four uses, and must be half full (two uses left) for the user to be able to cover themselves with it.

History: This oil was created by a Hissori with Katon affinity. He was able to use powerful Katon techniques, but he found that they always depleted his chakra levels too quickly. He needed to find a way to use smaller Katon techniques without having to use chakra. Mixing his blood with some oil, he found that he could ignite the oil at will. Unfortunately, he ended up igniting himself as well and spent the rest of his life bedridden. He continued his work though, and came up with the right compound to make a good weapon for all Hissori Katon users. The compound for this oil is a closely guarded secret.

Appearance: Simiular to Gaara's gourd, only smaller and plain.


Name of Item: Breathing Apparatus

Location: In Ekitai's nin-pouch.

Description: Ekitai uses this so that he can breath underwater. He decided to take this with him wherever he went as a precaution. Due to aspects of certain jutsu he possesses, he uses this so that he can use them until he dimisses them.

Appearance: A small mouthpiece with a grill like front.


Name of Item: Denkou's Goggles

Location: Covering Denkou's eyes.

Description: Denkou uses many Raiton techniques, and as such wears these protective shades to prevent his own jutsu from blinding him. They encompass the entire of both eyes.

History: Used over the generations to protect people from harsh lights.

Appearance: Like heavy shades but with a strap instead of earpieces.


Name of Weapon: Hissori Elite Swords (one for each)

Location: On their backs, with the hilt over the left shoulder.

Description: These swords enable the user to utilise up to B-Ranked sword ninjutsu without the need to use handseals. All the user needs to do is send the appropriate chakra down the blade. This speeds up jutsu activation and removes the need to let go of the sword to perform a technique.

History: When Ryoushi Hissori created his sword, a special blade that allowed him to use many sword ninjutsu without the need of handseals, they were of course immitations. It took several decades for the other smiths of the clan to get it right, and even now only a select few can weild these blades. It is a great honour to be bestowed an Elite Sword and only the strongest in the clan have the ability to use them. Each sword responds only to it's owner or a direct desendent of the owner.

Appearance: Like a normal katana, if a few inches longer. Each blade has a kanji on it to represent the persons element. So Denkou has the kanji for lightning, Ekitai's has water and Kouen's has fire.
