Personality: Ken is very quick to anger. He is often in a bad mood. He is a brilliant swordsman. His is and average student, not super smart, but not dumb either. He is heavily sarcastic. He also, always makes fun of people, cracking jokes at anyones expense. He is also, helpful and loves adventures.


History: Ken was born in the spring in Kohona. His mother was a cook at one of the ramen joints in Kohona. His biological father was a dead-beat. Ken had never met him and as far as he knew, his bio-dad didn't even know he had a son. The only family Ken had after his mother died was his uncle. His aunt and uncle named him Ken Kireme. Ken after his mother, whose name was Kendra and Kireme was his mothers last name.

His uncle was a weapon smith and turned out to be a very good Swordsman. His aunt, was kind and raised him like he own son. His uncle taught him how to create basic weapons. He also taught him how to handle a sword. By the time he was 8 he could almost match his grandfather in skill.

When he was 8 he decided to enter the ninja academy. He craved excitement and adventure. He sat in the middle of the class, not the brainiac or the slacker. In the academy he learned jutsu which he could use in conjunction with his kenjutsu skills. He graduated the academy at the age of 10. As a graduation present his aunt and uncle gave him two swords, which were made out of a special metal that could be channel chakra.

Ken was grateful for these gifts. He knew enough about sword smithing, to tell that the metal had cost his Uncle a large amount of money. And upon examining the swords he realized these were probably his uncles best work.
He loved his Aunt and Uncle dearly, sad that he wouldn't see them very often. But his yearning for adventure had gotten the best of him.

Ken was placed on a team with, Akio and Yumi. The three made quite a team Yumi was a genjutsu user and Akio focused on ninjutsu. The three went on a few minor missions and became pretty good friends. Yumi was already a Chunin, so they went on missions without a Joinin leader quite a few times.

However on a C rank mission Yumi and Akio were greatly injured and instead of completing the mission Ken focused on getting them to safety. Under a different Hokage, he would have been severely punished, but the Hokage at the time realized he was trying to do what was best for his comrades.

Yumi and Akio were put out of commission. The medical-nin said they would be injured for awhile. While waiting Ken entered the chunin exams. His entrance was contested, saying that he couldn't possibly complete the challenges without a team. The Hokage overruled all objections and allowed Ken to enter, but explained to him that he would have a harder time than others.

Ken knew this when he entered, but got past the written exam, by just a hair. The forest of death was more difficult, he had to take on two teams of three to get his scrolls, but he managed to take them out by sneaking up on them. The tournament was difficult for Ken. He faced a Kumogakure ninja who used magnetic jutsu. His opponent quickly disarmed his swords, but Ken took him out using his ability against him.

Finishing the chunin exams, Ken was the last one to be chosen that year. The day after he was promoted, he learned that Akio and Yumi would not be able to go on ninja missions, because of their injuries. So, Ken is looking for another team to join, but he still visits his old comrades whenever he gets the chance.

"Man, I feel old." Ken said, as he stood in the best man's spot at his best friend's wedding. He was wearing a suit, something he was very uncomfortable with, at Akiko and Yumi's wedding. He couldn't believe they were getting married. He knew they liked each other, but it just seemed to come out of nowhere, but apparently, they had been planning this for some time, but they wanted to wait until Kohona was rebuilt. During the wedding and reception, Ken suddenly felt very lonely. The two people who he had known the longest, with the exception of family had been married. When it started getting late he congratulated his friends and took his leave.

After the wedding he wondered around the village, and looked back over the past few years. Metsuki had rushed them back to the village when he learned of its destruction. Misuto found out that his parents had died and became distant from the team. Metsuki sent them to work on different projects and after quite some time, the village was finished. Ken hadn't really learned much over the past five years, something that really disappointed him, but he was happy with Kohona being back in shape. After some time of wondering, Ken made it home, he hung his swords on a hook, and went to sleep.

After a short time, Ken met Misuto, Maoa and Migoto, his newest team members and their leader and teacher, Metsuki. For a short time, Ken did not trust the others, but he was assigned to the team and he was going to make the best of it. And after a while with them, he began to trust them. The worked well as a team, but the destruction of Kohona and the Phoenix Crisis had caused them to lose contact.

The destruction and subsequent rebuilding of the Leaf Village, Ken realized his love for the village and swore to protect it from such harm again. His first goal was set on the back burner. His skill, although still important, were not as important as protecting the village.
After Five years of doing different things, the team has been reunited. Their reunion was celebrated with a spar to get a grasp of each other’s new skills. They fought for quite some time each holding their own. After their spar, Ken designed a new technique to make up for his lack of training in these past few years. After an exhausting amount of training and guidance from Metsuki, Ken managed to utilize the technique. He now possessed the Lightning Reflex, his first truly original technique. With his newest technique Ken is ready to protect the village and take on those who wish it harm.
