Rin Uchiha (Takeshi)
Recarnation of Nasamea
Name: Rin Takeshi
Age: 25
Bloodline: None
Rank: S-Rank
Classification:
Village: Konohagakure
Alignment: Neutral
Appearance:
Much like the avatar, her hair is solid black and falls to the mid section of her back. Her eyes are icy blue and her skin is a fair complexion. Her attire is what she wears in the picture above. She also can switch to a variety of other clothing but never really reveals herself, considering she considers other woman who do that dumb.
Personality: Rin, like her name, is rather cold. She is normally very quiet although when she talks it can be very sharp. She is rather reserved and most believe she is cold hearted. However, she has a very strong will and honor, something that separates her from others she has met. Her last name means warrior and she lives up to it, fighting until the end and never giving up. When she sees something she doesn't think is right she will not hesitate to react, however the way she reacts all depends on what is occurring. She will not react rashly and is rather smart about her decisions. She's more of the independent type, never truly relying on anyone and never truly goes out of her way to make friends.
Although this is her outer self, her inner self is truly complex for she is more like a shell hiding the truth beneath the truth. She is actually a very caring person and will protect the lives she cares for no matter what. She has been told times before that she always seemed like she was a restless soul searching for unknown answers.
History: Rin Takeshi was born in Kirigakure in the middle of winter. Her mother, Izumi Takeshi, was a loving and caring woman born in Yugakure no Sato. On the other hand her father, Hayato Takeshi, was a very strict man born in Kumogakure. If Rin were to mess up the slightest, it was he who punished her. During one of his missions, he had met Izumi and together they formed a relationship. Later, upon settling down in Kumo, they conceived Rin and began to raise her. Izumi is a retired Chunin who now works around the house as a house wife while Hayato continues to work as a well known Jounin.
During Rin’s toddler years, she was always known to wake in the middle of the night screaming, crying, or simply shaking as if scared by a ghost. Her parents, seeing this as a problem, took her to medical ninja to be examined. However, nothing ever came up but they were warned that this could be from what she’s eating or from being frightened by something. This not only stressed her parents out from lack of sleep but also put them on their toes. Every day they would keep an eye on her to see what it was that was bothering her, however nothing came up.
Rin finally grew out of these fits by the age of 5, finally giving her parents some peace from all the screaming and crying. They took her to the medical ninja every five months for check-ups but the stats always showed them that she was a very healthy child. They had already begun to teach Rin her name and other things she needed to know for Rin was always easy to get along with. Unlike most children, she never truly cried or threw an angry fit to get what they wanted; only at night but this was now in the past.
As Rin grew older, she was always gifted and took an interest in art, writing stories, and loved to read to pass the time. At the age of 7, she then entered the academy and began taking courses like the rest of the students. She was always quiet around the other students, never really going out of her way to make friends. At first she used to slip up on tests and the things she learned, however when her father found out he began setting her straight with punishments such as extra chores and even a slap to the face. She would go to her mother and ask why her father was cruel but her mother would always say how much he truly loved her and just wanted to do the right thing. From the punishments, Rin would always make sure she didn’t mess up and would always seek help for the things she never understood.
During her academy years, she finally raised her grades and many teachers began to be fond of her due to her personality, even though she was quiet. Rin made a few friends and eventually, a best friend. Everything was going good until the other students began to pick on her more and soon her own friends turned against her, her ‘best friend’ being the leader for a while when it came to taunting and picking on her. Rin took it for a long time, sometimes coming home and crying at night. However, it wasn’t long until she cracked and grew tired of crying, lashing out at them. She managed to grab the arm of one and put the student in a position with a kunai to the back of her head, threatening to kill her through enraged tears. From that point on the students left her alone however didn’t fail to inform the teachers. The teachers had to inform her parents and Rin received a beating once more. This made Rin more reserved then what she was and she decided to never truly get close to anyone again.
At the age of 11, she finally graduated the academy with the highest grades and proudly received her Kumogakure headband. She could finally put the academy behind her as she began her life as a genin. She was placed in the casual team of three with a Jounin teacher, although she rarely talked to them. Both students tried to avoid Rin as well due to the rumors that spread around from when she attacked the other kunoichi in the academy. She spent more time with her Jounin teacher then her teammates. To her, he reminded her someone and yet she could never tell who it was he resembled. This was when the strange memories that troubled her mind during her toddler years, began to emerge once more. However, this time she never shed any tears and began to question just who she was. On missions, ideas that, at first, didn’t seem her would pop into her mind and she would find herself using ninja tools more then wasting her chakra. She always asked her teacher to train her more in the art of sword fighting and so she could gain speed, which he gladly did. Her first katana was given to her by her father, a pitch black katana with a silver line circling the hilt of the blade.
When she wasn’t doing extra training with her jounin teacher and father, she was on missions with her other two teammates. They were always stuck doing D-ranks, which Rin never truly complained. However, her teammates would throw in a few words and complain before finally their sensei had enough and requested a C-rank. They soon received one and started it a few days later. The mission was to escort a blacksmith from Kumogakure to his home town, Konohagakure. Rin felt ready for anything, her teacher had already taught her the basics, such as chakra control, and even basic fireball. Meanwhile, her father had not only aided in that training but also taught her some basics when it came to sword fighting. He told her she was a natural at sword fighting and when it came to dodging, or “maneuver ability” as he would call it. The mission was actually simple, unlike the reports of previous missions where stronger enemies would attack. They easily passed and soon were able to go on more C-ranks, leaving D-ranks in the dust.
A year passed and the odd memories Rin had pushed her forward. She quickly began to learn two abilities, one called ‘Quick Sword’ and the other, ‘Pulse Blade’. However, she required more speed to perform such abilities and thus began running a mile every morning on top of training. As the days went on a mile turned to two, to three, to four, and so on. She even added weights to her arms and legs, never really taking them off. At first they were a bit uncomfortable but soon she would sometimes forget they were even on, only remembering when it came time to add a few more pounds on. Her mother also began to teach her how to cook, garden, and do other household chores; despite what she already knew. This made Rin good around the house and all the training made her into a better ninja. As the missions continued, Rin never did get closer to her teammates, only talking when she had to or when asking her sensei something. Her other two teammates, both being kunoichi, only seemed to truly care for material things and sometimes Rin wondered why they were even ninja.
Soon the exams came around and the three of them were entered. The finished up their training and soon traveled to Konoha to participate. They stayed for a few days and checked out the village, getting a few weird looks for being outsiders. Rin’s team would always go shopping while Rin would normally stay at home reading or drawing, unless she went out to look at a few things she liked. She found herself drawn to a certain place, feeling as if the village itself was familiar and yet never understanding it. It was then the memories truly began to bug her and she wished t find the truth behind them and why she was having them. Upon entering a store and simply laying eyes on a mirror, she looked back at herself, tilting her head slightly n confusion to why she was even looking. She could have sworn for a moment she saw an older girl with green eyes staring back but shook her head, closing her eyes. When she looked back up, the image was gone and she sighed, thinking it must have been the anxiety of the exams creeping up on her.
When the exams had finally started, the first exam was rather difficult due to the no copying rule. She knew a good majority of the test, however had to secretly cheat a few times, glad she wasn’t noticed. As soon as she had finished, she wondered how her other two teammates were doing. Luckily, they all passed, and the second exam began that afternoon. As they made way to the forest of death, there team was first. Rin peered over at a rock and sat down on it, looking at her surroundings and the other genin teams as the arrived. Upon hearing the rules, her team talked amongst themselves and designed a plan, Rin receiving the scroll.
They moved to their gates and waited, the silence resting over them before a loud roar was heard in the forest. Rin looked up and her eyes widened in a bit of shock as images flashed before her eyes of a girl and two boys behind her, then later the girl in a castle and one of the boys giving off a strange aura, then a familiar looking man in the background. The gates zoomed open and her teammates pushed Rin before leaping off, snapping her back. Rin shook her head and breathed heavily before zooming off after them, catching them in no time. Her teammates asked what happened and what was wrong but Rin simply smiled and said, “I think the anxiety may have got to me.” It was the first time she truly talked or showed a bit of emotion, astounding them a bit. However, the three continued forward and Rin took the lead instinctively.
Time ticked by and the first team finally attacked, making Rin use the best of her abilities. She commanded her team and together the three of them finally brought down the team although they had some difficulty due to the other teams strength. One thing that didn’t feel normal to Rin was the fact for a moment during the fight she felt like setting a wire trap with explosive tags, thus setting the forest on fire. It was an odd thought and one that brought back more emerging memories she couldn’t explain. The team took the scroll, although it was sadly the same as theirs, and moved on through the forest. As the rested for the night and took different watches; strange noises were heard as the nocturnal beasts rose up from the depths of darkness and lurked through the night, hunting for their prey.
During one of her teammates watch, a scream was heard that snapped Rin instantly awake. She shook her other teammate awake and both went to search for their other member. She was captured by an attacking team and held captive as they waited outside. Rin, her inner self truly kicking in, narrowed her eyes and lunged at the opponent, drawing her blade. Just when it was believed she was coming head on, she disappeared and used her Quick sword technique to slash the opponent in half. This freaked out the other team and yet they attacked anyway, Rin cutting them down single handily. Her own team was a bit fearful but at the same time was glad Rin was there to protect them. It was the first time Rin actually thought about tearing down her walls for them, but decided not to. Upon taking the enemies scroll, they decided that it was best they leave their camping site and move forward to the center tower as fast as they could.
Time ticked by and the deeper they got in the forest, the darker it grew. Strange beasts crawled on the forest floor and the in the trees, strange birds flying through the air making sounds as if they were crying in pain. They continued forward, only stopping twice to kill off a giant snake and some attacking bugs. It wasn't long till they reached the center tower and entered, finding themselves lucky for not running into anymore ninja teams. Upon entering the tower, it didn't take them long to figure out what to do with the scrolls. A Chunnin appeared and informed them that had passed but that they had one more exam and to go home and meet in the arena at dawn. The other two kunoichi cheered happily while Rin merely put on a happy smile, never one to jump up and down and cheer. That day they went back to apartment they were given during their time for the exams and prepared for tomorrow; eating, resting, etc.
When tomorrow came, they headed over to the arena immediately and stood in wait with other teams that had passed. Only five other teams passed out of the original twelve. Soon the proctor showed up to announce the third part of the exams beginning in a month and that these were the preliminaries. They were informed on how the preliminaries worked then headed up stairs to watch as everyone else fought. Rin was up against a Taijutsu user, but luckily she was trained in it as well and they both were roughly the same speed. Rin used tai and ken the most, cutting down her opponent in no time. Sadly, on of Rin's teammates lost and suffered a few broken bones. Rin was overcome with a strong emotion, some not even her own, and she felt she would one day strike down this opponent and show him what happens when they hurt her teammates. On the other hand, Rin's other teammate passed and round one was finally complete. The winners were then gathered and told to come back in one month, that they had all that time to train and prepare for the final exam.
After the preliminaries, Rin and her teammate went to visit the injured teammate. They talked about the battle and Rin finally showed true emotion for the first time in a long time, telling her how she would strike the boy down for hurting her teammate despite what they said. They were a bit shocked and yet happy that Rin actually cared for them. The hospitalized teammate was said to heal in a matter of weeks and would be back to normal. Rin and her other teammate left the hospital and headed back to the apartment, the hospitalized member telling them to head back to Kumo to train and prepare, that she'd be fine.

Re: Rin Uchiha (Takeshi)
Just as planned, Rin and her remaining teammate returned to Kumo and informed their teacher what had happened. He was simply glad they passed the first two exams and said he would get their other member when the time was right. Rin's other teammate was told she was going to be trained by her parents like before while Rin on the other hand was to be trained by her jonin sensei and father just like before. Her father worked more on her Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, such as her Quick sword and Pulse blade attacks she remembered from her strange memories. Meanwhile, her jonin sensei taught Rin other fire jutsu to prepare her for the exams. The main jutsu they focused on was one Rin also remembered, the Dense Fog Technique. Rin constantly trained but made sure she didn't wear herself out and grow tired, taking chakra pills and breaks when necessary. Rin grew even faster, making her Kenjutsu attacks easier to use due to what is required to perform them. It didn't take long for her to know how to use Quick sword and Pulse Blade with ease, although Pulse Blade sometimes gave her arm spasms. Other the other hand, after a week she was able to muster up enough fog for it to be qualified as a jutsu. She continued to practice and was able to produce enough fog to spread all around her and after another week, all around the training ground. For the second half of the technique she would simply use fireball. Her teacher took her to a lake where she sued this technique and witnessed the sort of flames it could produce. The teacher simple used water to put out the flames that may have got out of hand. Rin learned her first A-rank technique, however she still needed more training to fully master up.
With the exams only a few days away, Rin returned to Konoha; visiting her teammate before heading to a given apartment and locking her stuff up. She headed to the arena and checked in before returning back to the apartment where she met with her other teammate. The next day, the last exam began and all the genin showed up, some of their parents and teachers sitting in the stands to watch their child or student. The arena was full of excitement and yet the genin were tense, except for Rin. They were already assigned to who they were fighting so the first two contestants stepped forward, the rest going to the waiting room for their turn. The first battle went fast due to one opponent having more skill then the other. The second battle was Rin's teammate who went up against a genin from Konoha. Most of the crowd cheered for the Konoha nin, however were disappointed when her teammate easily beat him and returned to the waiting room.
Rin and her teammate talked till it was Rin's turn and, lucky her, she was up against the boy who hurt her teammate. Rin never used Dense Fog due to it being a mostly last resort, so she stuck with her Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. He himself had his own Kenjutsu abilities but mainly used lighting, causing a bit of a problem for Rin since she wasn't accustomed to fighting a lighting user. The boy went head to head, cutting and slashing, explosions going off when fire met lighting and vice versa. It was thus far the most exciting battle and the crowd was on their toes. However, at the slightest opening, Rin took it and left a big cut on her opponent that would surely scar. As her opponent rose back up to counter, Rin already had the upper hand and knocked him back down, sword aimed at the neck and causing him to lye still on the ground. Rin had won and the crowd cheered before she returned to the waiting room, sheathing her blade with a bit of a smile hidden under her hair.
As the fights continued, Rin and her teammate waited. Finally only a few genin remained and were brought together as the Hokage appeared before them. There was a decision that the remaining genin would become chunin, that they had showed enough skill. Any genin would didn't win were either granted chunin or stuck at being genin. Rin had finally become chunin by the age of 13 and was now a step closer to being a strong ninja. That day, they received their chunin jacket before her and her teammate returned back to the apartment to rest up so they could head home the next day. Rin slept peacefully at first before strange memories of someone else's exam flashed through her mind. The girl hunting, setting up a trap and burning the forest as two ninja fought, seeing fireworks and fleeing from the exams, the exams being cancelled due to her, and then her own teammate and an enemy ninja hunting her down because of it. She remembered seeing the girl then looking through her eyes and seeing a man as they stood in the castle. For a moment the dream focused on him, almost as if telling her to look for him. She saw a vivid image and suddenly more memories flashed before her as well as past training that caused Rin pain and snapped her awake. She woke up breathing heavily, hand against her heart with a worried teammate hovering over her. Rin just said it was a nightmare before rolling over to go back to sleep, thinking of everything she had just seen and wondering just who the girl and man were and why she was having dreams and strange memories about them. She sighed and closed her eyes as she dozed back to sleep that night.
The next day, they headed back to Kumo were they celebrated their rank up and visited friends and family. As Rin returned home, she began to notice her parents acting different, her mother looking more tired and her father more angry then usual. She tried to ignore it and soon was caught up in missions and training once more. Her skills improved more and her sensei began to teach her a few more jutsus before she began to teach herself. She learned phoenix flare and the dragon fire technique, practicing them more to where they became almost second nature to use. She continued to work on her Dense Fog technique and seeing what all she could do, how much she could make, and more. It wasn't long till this technique was also second nature, coming in handy when needed. Rin balanced training with missions and house work as well, accomplishing a good amount of C-ranks and a few B-ranks, putting the D-ranks in the past. At this point, she would even start to spar with her father and occasionally jonin teacher seeing as how she was growing strong rather fast, almost as if she already knew a lot before even being trained.
As time passed, Rin began learning other fire techniques such as one she also learned from her strange memories, the Flaming Rose technique. This technique was rather difficult at first, however through enough training and practice, she was able to use it and mainly tested it out on enemies during missions. She even learned to use it defensively, burning many surprised ninja numerous times even despite the rumble. It was yet another useful technique and although it took time, it wasn't long till she was able to fully learn and use it as well. Rin continued to train and broaden her fire techniques, learning a useful defensive ninjutsu called 'Raging Flame', another technique she learned from her odd memories. As the days ticked by, the memories became more vivid but never did she see the girl or man, making her curiosity grow.
At the age of 15, Rin had learned quite a few fire jutsu and techniques to where she was sent on more B-ranks. She was fast, as if she had been born with such speed. Her own father and sometimes sensei had trouble keeping up with her at times, making her feel more proud. She continued training and going on missions as planned, but soon her mother's tiredness grew and Rin was home more to aid her mother while her father was sent off to placed to work. Rin learned that her mother was diagnosed with a deathly sickness where she would grow more and more tired and eventually die from her organs shutting down. Rin watched and waited on her mother, aiding her when necessary until the day came where she passed on to the next life. The troubled Rin for a few days and slightly affected her missions and training at first. However, she was able to set aside her feelings when necessary. She had lost the most important person to her besides her jonin sensei, since her dad never truly got close to Rin. Her father began to press her more and more and Rin was stuck home more doing her mother's work besides her own.
At the age of 16, Rin's fire jutsu was already second nature and as time passed she also learned Pile Ash Burning and began working on other jutsu as she tried designing more. She tapped into her second element, water, and her father began to help her since her sensei was put on more missions. Training with her father was rather difficult and he began to yell at her more then usual, as if her mother was the thing that protected her from his rage. She learned basic water clone and hidden mist first which became very useful on missions and when trying to hide. She then began to work on more jutsu, learning water dragon, five eating sharks, and water prison; more techniques that would surely come in handy when needed. After training further and continuing her missions, it didn't take long for her to fully learn her water jutsu as well.
At the age of 17, Rin's world changed once more as one day her father mysteriously disappeared after finishing a mission. Rin waited for his return but he never came back and most believed her was dead, thus making her an orphan. She still kept up on the house, although now that she was completely alone it was truly difficult to juggle everything at once. Rin was still reserved as always and most avoided her. When some talked to her, she rarely responded or was rather 'harsh' on some of her responses. Many had the impression that she was cold hearted due to all that she had lost, and when they heard of how she but down her enemies they also avoided her thinking that anyone that wasn't her friend would be considered an enemy. Her teammates were already moved away to different villages or were to busy to talk, much like her sensei. Thus, Rin took the lifestyle of being alone and taking care of herself, making her really independent. The memories still continued and normally small factors would set them off, from rice, to mirrors, to sometimes even paper.
Over time, she put them together bit by bit but never learned the names of the girl or man, however due to research she learned a lot of this looked like parts of the waterfall village. So Rin set out on an adventure to the waterfall, now 18, setting aside everything for a while. During her adventure, she was attacked by a group of bandits who out numbered her and caused very vague memories to trouble her as she fought. She saw blood, felt odd pain, as if she were weak and dying; however she kept going. She figured out that the girl she was seeing died when she was older, even older the Rin now. However, she never learned what happened to the man. Rin continued to the waterfall upon defeating her enemies with a few techniques.
Upon getting near the entrance of the waterfall, she was sent into shock as more memories flooded her mind and caused her to collapse. They overpowered her and she held her head in pain, wondering just what all this meant. The spot before the waterfall was to familiar and yet she never been here before in her life. Images began to materialize before her eyes as she saw the man and girl talking then moving off towards the direction of the snowy hills. She wanted to go but the flooding memories made her turn away. She felt she wasn't ready yet, as if the key to unlocking them all was missing. So she returned back to Kumo and hoped to one day search for the key, feeling it wasn't time yet to continue past that point before the waterfall. She decided to make herself busy as she began working on her third element, Douton. She started with a basic earth wall, a good defensive technique that aided her a few times when needed. She then remembered one from the memories that the girl made up, Iron Tool. She used it frequently with her katana, combined with Pulse Blade or Quick Sword. The other jutsus she worked on were Underground Protection Fish, Headhunters Jutsu, and finally Ant Lion Technique. Rin never learned earth clone, figuring she would never truly use it since she had water and regular clone.
At the age of 20, she had fully learned all her jutsu she had been working on and thus continued to go on missions. By then she was ranked jonin due to her ability and even speed. In her off times she was always studying and now she began to not only do house work but found hobbies besides art, reading, and writing. She found an odd interest in pottery and gardening, something she learned the girl liked to do. She sensed her key had yet to reveal itself, so she continued to wait and carry out her life.
A year passed and finally Rin felt she needed to search for the key, the man that was in her memories. She never understood why she had to find him, only that she needed to and that he was still alive. She packed up and decided to hunt him down, listening to the news about unexpected wind storms occurring in villages. She began following the wind storms, feeling she was getting close everyday to finally solving the mystery.
Once the mystery had been solved, she was awakened to Nasamea; her second soul in her body.
With the exams only a few days away, Rin returned to Konoha; visiting her teammate before heading to a given apartment and locking her stuff up. She headed to the arena and checked in before returning back to the apartment where she met with her other teammate.
