History: The Chouchin Clan (提灯一族, Chouchin Ichizoku) was known for their great speed and knowledge of nerves and muscle control. Able to produce tangible after-images, the most ever recorded in the Chouchin history was three at a time. Constant use of the technique has shown to damage the ability to bear children, leaving less than a handful alive. With their numbers diminishing, their clan was soon forgotten, leaving the only records within Kiri’s sacred library.

Special Info: This clan from Kirgakure is known for its great speed and dextarity. Electrically stimulating their nervous system and speeding up their neural synapses, it will cause them to react faster to danger and push their physical prowess to the absolute limit; allowing them to gain tremendous raw speed and power. Their more noticeable skill of those who have mastered the kekkei genkai are able to use the secret jutsu Utsusemi (空蝉; cicada, referencing their molting), allowing them to leave at least one tangible 'after-image' of themselves for diversions and substitutions that can even appear to bleed after getting attacked.
