Hitotsukae Clan

History: Legend's say that the Hitotsukae clan began long ago. A man wishing to become more powerful than those around him ingested the blood of several animals to become stronger. His belief was that if he ingested the blood of the animals. He would be able to take on their strongest traits. With each animal he killed he drained them of blood and ate their heart.

It is said that, although he did not take on the traits of the animals he slaughtered, he became more vicious. In the times in which he lived he was known as the champion, after some time he settled down and took a wife. With this wife he bared several children. At first these children were normal, but in time the family came to realize their ability.

Somehow, when the founder had ingested the blood of these creatures it changed his nature. His children received the power he wished to possess. All of these children were able to change into tigers. With this discovery the founder moved his family far away from people, in fear that they would be hunted. After some time he helped his children learn the limits of each of their transformations.

After a few years of marriage he began to realize that he could not age. And his children when they hit the age of 20 also stopped or at least slowed, at this point he couldn't tell. He watched as his wife grew older and eventually died. He left that part of the world behind leaving his children to fend for themselves. The children established the Hitotsukae as a way to remember their father and as a way for them to stay together.

Special Info: The members of this clan are able to change into animals. The clan is further broken down into sections, which define what animal you are able to shift into. Each group possess three forms of shapshifting. Their normal everyday human mode, there half-mode, and their full mode.

In human mode, they are just like normal humans except. they possess enhanced senses, and depending on the animal, a trait that the animal possess.

Half shifting(either going to half-shift or from half-shift) takes one post and Full shifting takes two. As a result of their erratic nature, they are unable to use genjutsu and possess large amounts of chakra, but weak chakra control. Also, each branch is only able to possess one element. Depending on the branch, the member is able to possess an extraordinarily long life.

Branches: Each member of the branches are able to shape-shift into an animal of that branch. Each Branch Member is able to take on a specific characteristic only unique to that branch.


Tora:

Obutsu

[*] The origins of this branch are unknown. Although it is said they rose out of the ashes of the Founder. Note:these are extremely rare.
[*] They are unique compared to the other branches, this branch possess the ability to change into any animal they wish.(There is a limit to this, which will be explained in the tech section.)

[*]This branch is viewed as dirt by the other branches, because they lack the ability to pick one animal.

Requirements: Be born into the clan. It is possible to join the clan and not be born into it, IF you are given a large enough transfusion of blood from a member you will have the same abilities and effectively be a member of the clan. However, the transfusion often kills both participants. (PM me to join)
