Personality: At time she is ferocious and vicious, but at other times she is kind and sensitive. She is very proud and will get in a fight with someone for the smallest insult. She is energetic and loves excitement. She is ready for their next act in life and ready to pursue it with unyielding energy and hunting it infallibly. She dislikes are not getting enough recognition for their efforts, being inferior to others at work, impolite people and especially dislikes rude people.

History: Born into the tiger branch of the Hitotsukae clan. Kaya is the daughter of the leader of the entire clan. This gave her important responsibilities as well as a sense of desirability to other, lower ranked members of the clan. This desiribility became both a gift and curse.

At the age of 8 after much coaxing she convinced her father to let her enter the ninja academy Due to her lack of chakra control, she did not do very well with ninjutsu, and completely failed at genjutsu. However with Taijutsu she excelled. She was able to beat 95% of all genin in her class and the other five only encouraged her to work harder. After 4 years in the academy she graduated near the bottom of the class. Everyone thought she was a screw up, but she was determined to prove them wrong.

Bother her entrance and graduation from the academy were highly celebrated within her family, due too their two natures so few of the Clan actually became ninjas and having another one in the family was a source of great pride and honor. However, this pride and honor became a burden on Kaya, With each successful mission, her family expected more and more out of her.

After another two years of learning and missions, she entered the Chunin exams with the rest of her team. After going through the series of challenges she was able to pass. It was during this time that she also began to work on the second stage of her bloodline. After two months of training she managed to succeed in changing to her second stage, then after a few more weeks she had completely mastered changing back and forth at will, although when she gets angry she still sometimes partially transforms.

As time went on she was also expected to do more for her clan, a fact which added to her stress level. At the age of 14 she was expected to pick a life mate from either the tiger branch or outside the clan. However, being the leaders daughter she was expected to be diplomatic and marry someone within the branch of her father's choice.

Her father picked a man who disgusted her and was twice her age. When she learned of her father's choice she did something, which had never been done before. She refused. This had never before happened, you were not to disobey those higher than you in your branch. Her father being both the clan leader and the branch leader, had to do something. He could not let this action go without punishment. But, he did not have the heart to administer the usual punishment, which was death. He couldn't just order her killed, she was, after all his daughter.

After a day of deliberation, during which Kaya was locked in a cage, so she could not escape. Her father came up with a deal, If Kaya could beat her betrothed in unarmed combat than she did not have to marry him, but if she couldn't then she had to. The challenge was initiated, Kaya could not refuse. She accepted, knowing she could not beat the man who was both wiser and stronger than she was.

Kaya knew she was outmatched before the first attack was made. She would be beaten and forced to marry the disgusting man. The only way to get out of the fight was to run, the most dishonorable act one could commit. Kaya knew how the clan would look upon her if she ran, but she knew her future was at stake here. This man was the controlling type should would be under his thumb for the rest of her life, if she didn't run.

Ignoring all what she knew and all of her instincts she turned tail and run. A move so unexpected it shocked all her clan members who were watching. The stunning shock caused them to pause before chasing after her. After an exhausting chase she was out of their reach and safe from her father and her betrothed.

However, her freedom came with a price, even with her prominent standing, returning to the clan now would mean death. The only possible way she could return was if she did something amazing. Something that would give her family so much pride that all her past sins would be forgiven.

For a year she wandered the world, searching for an amazing achievement. She learned how survive on her abilities alone and learned of many places and things which she had not known. But, a year of searching had not been a success and after some thought she decided that the only way to receive enough recognition was to join a village.

The only problem left now was to decide on which village to join. After several days of mulling it over, she decided to choose at random. Knowing her position and where the villages were from that position, she chose her method. Sticking her hand out while spinning, she spun until she was about to puke. When she stopped she used he knowledge to deem which village was closest where she pointed and walked toward it.

After several days walk, she came upon the Village Hidden in the Sand. Entering the village and explaining her situation to the Kage she was excepted into the village. After 2 years, she was ready to begin training and work towards her goal.
