Name of Weapon or Item: Pepper Spray
Location: Ninja Pouch
Description: Pepper spray is a lachrymatory agent (a chemical compound that irritates the eyes to cause tears, pain, and even temporary blindness). It is often used as self-defense against both humans and even animals.
The active ingredient in pepper spray is capsaicin, which is a chemical derived from the fruit of plants in the Capsicum genus, including chilis. Extraction of oleoresin capsicum from peppers involves finely ground capsicum, from which capsaicin is extracted in an organic solvent such as ethanol. The solvent is then evaporated, and the remaining waxlike resin is the oleoresin capsicum. An emulsifier, such as propylene glycol, is used to suspend the OC in water, and pressurized to make it aerosol in pepper spray. The high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method is used to measure the amount of capsaicin within pepper sprays. Scoville Heat Units (SHU) are used to measure the concentration or "heat" of pepper spray.

History: Beofre their leave from Konoha, Rion bought Marixia five canisters of pepper spray to keep with her at all times if she ever needed it for protection. Due to Rion constantly keeping a watching eye over her, Marixia has never really needed to use it due to Rion tending to interven.

Name of Weapon or Item: Methanol Bombs
Location: Ninja Pouch
Description: These small bombs look a lot like ordinary smoke bombs except sizes are between 5cm to 2 in around and are filled with Methanol; a light, volatile, colorless, flammable, liquid with a distinctive odor that is very similar to but slightly sweeter than ethanol (drinking alcohol).
When encased, this smell is mostly masked except to those with strong noses, however once the bomb is lit and goes off the smell becomes stronger. Upon setting off the wick with lit fire chakra, or fire, the user has 2 to 10 seconds before the bomb goes off.

After combustion occurs, a methanol flame is lit; a flame that is almost colorless in bright sunlight. Carbon Dioxide and a small amount of water are products of this reaction as well; due to combustion.
Another trait to Methanol is that it is toxic, especially to humans. If ingested, as little as 10 mL can cause permanent blindness by destruction of the optic nerve and 30 mL is potentially fatal, although the usual fatal dose is typically 100–125 mL (4 fl oz). The toxic effects take hours to start and effective antidotes can often prevent permanent damage. Due to its similarities to ethanol (the alcohol in beverages), it is difficult to differentiate between the two chemicals.
History: Rion also had these created for him and Marixia to use in combat. After toying around with the chemical and studying its properties, he was able to form them in small little bombs that look much like smoke bombs; a way to disguise them or trick the opponent. It took quite a few test runs with different sized wicks and casings to finally create these little bombs but after doing so Rion was able to ensure they were safe to carry unless lit. Due to them using fire chakra on a daily basis, and the risk of them lightning it the pouch, Rion also designed a small fireproof case for these bombs to protect them.

Name of Weapon or Item: Mercury Razor Wire
Location: Ninja Pouch
Description: This regular ninja wire has Mercury(II) Oxide inserted throughout it and should only be handled with gloves. Unlike regular wire, due to the mercury within it is a rather poor conductor of heat but is still a fair conductor of electricity.
Mercury oxide is a toxic substance which can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its aerosol, through the skin, and by ingestion. The substance is irritating to the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract and may have effects on the kidneys, resulting in kidney impairment. Mercury Oxide also decomposes when exposed to light. If heated above 500°C (Around 932°F) it has the capability of producing highly toxic fumes, including mercury and oxygen, which increases fire hazard.
History: Another deadly weapon Rion had designed for himself and Marixia that can be rather useful with the combination of their jutsu, etc. He had this designed much like regular wire, except with the added bonus of mercury, in order for it to confuse opponents.

Location: Worn
Description: This variety of gear, consisting of: a long sleeve under shirt, pants, socks, two forms of gloves, and a cloak; are all designed for not only a comfortable fit but to ensure the users safety from fire based attacks. In short, they are all fireproof.
This gear consists of three layers: an outer shell, a moisture barrier, and a thermal barrier. In between these layers are pockets of air referred to as "dead zones". These layers of air along with the three protective layers help to further insulate the wearer from the extreme environments of fires; while giving the outer shell the extra bonus of being able made out of a water repellant finish.
History: While in Konoha, Rion has the vests and pants designed for Marixia and himself to help increase the safety of them both when using their fire jutsu and aid them from getting wet from water. This gear has all went through a variety of tests with and without being worn to prove their efficiency.

Description: A variation on the exploding note, these small pouches can be attached to a target and then explode a few seconds later.
History: Received from weapon shop in Konoha, items that practically every ninja has.

Description: When the pin is pulled on this grenade, the result is a large explosion and the release of smoke. This allows the ninja to carry out their manuevers in secret.
