Name of Weapon or Item: Sakimasu and Makimasu

Location: Left hip or back

Description: The Sakimasu and Makimasu are a pair of jian swords that possess a set of potent abilities. Both blades can convert solar energy into chakra via a special seal. While this isn't a large amount of chakra, in the blazing midday sun, it gives the wielder a large boost to their chakra regeneration if they need to fight for an extended period. Sakimasu possesses the unique ability to harness the full potential of chakra by turning the energy it meets into spiritual flowers. These will slowly siphon energy to Akarui or can be used for food for the spiritual hummingbirds. The flowers, while able to obscure vision, have no physical benefits to them. The other ability is for the Sakimasu to give energy to the plantlife around it, accelerating the growth. The Makimasu, however, possesses the ability to sow seeds with its strikes. While raked against the ground, it will lace the ground with seeds. Or, if it hits an opponent, seed the opponent. Then, Akarui can manipulate the grown of the seeds to form a trap of vines. The downside to the Makimasu is that it can only create vining flowers in an unaugmented state. It cannot use any of Akarui's special seeds unless it is resheathed (in the silk wrapping - which picks up seeds from the ground as it travels, allowing more unique plantlife to be used).

History: The Sakimasu was a sword forge specifically for Akarui to use, with the help of the previous owner of the Makimasu, Ayameko Shikata.

Appearance: The Sakimasu and Makimasu are basically twins in their appearance. Both have the sun golden silk wrappings with the thin metal on the edges of this. These can be manipulated during the Tenmaru and the Jimaru, with Akarui's chakra reinforcement, to create a dangerous setting. However, when released from their cloth confines, there is a clear difference. The Sakimasu shines much more brightly and seems to have a more vibrant polish to it. This is intentional as it can be used to blind someone by angling the blade. The Makimasu, while not horridly dull in appearance, has a soft green tint to it that makes it less vibrant than the Sakimasu. Both are standard length for a jian.

Name of Weapon or Item: Ayameko's Throwing Knives

Location: Various

Description: The throwing knives given to Akarui by Ayameko Shikata grant him access to a particular set of ninjutsu. These weapons are an integral part of those techniques. In addition, they are coated with seeds, so their path can be ignited into a burst of life if needed, sowing wounds with seeds, so on and so forth. They behave similar to the Makimasu, but do not possess the same battle longevity.

History: A gift given to Akarui by Ayameko Shikata

Appearance: An ornately designed throwing knife with floral etchings on it. In those grooves it contains seeds for Akarui's techniques. As well, below the grip, in the 'hilt' is a more potent, specially modified seed.

Name of Weapon or Item: Bag of Seeds

Location: Right hip.

Description: Akarui's bag of seeds contains a few special seeds, aside from a large number of common seeds. With his abilities, he can use these to his advantage. He has three larger cherry tree seeds in there that possess the ability to feed spirit hummingbirds, but have a physical abilities. He has a large number of wheat seeds in the pack, along with some common flowers. A special set of vine plants in the pack are capable of launching poisonous projectiles at Akarui's beck. He has 3 of these which produces about 10 flowers each (where they fire the projectiles). The poisons can cause cardiac arrest, death, or unconsciousness. That last special set of seeds is a very strong vine plant that can extend up to 50 feet from the point it is planted. This is a very strong vine that is capable of withstanding a number of blows. He has about 10 of these. All of his seeds can be 'reversed' back into a seed state after a battle if they have not been destroyed.
