Aizen Kasumoya
Name: Aizen Kasumoya
Nickname/Alias: Iji Karaihou
Age: 23
Age Appearance: 17
Appearance: Aizen is a rather small individual, who caps his height at around five foot six, and has never actually weighed himself. He is not well built or muscular, yet still maintains a visually athletic physical constitution. He is healthy, if not strong. Even after days basking in the sunlight, the clouded skies of Kumogakure offered no tan to Aizen’s pale skin, which instead glows a feint peachy colour when he stands under broad daylight.
Further up comes Aizen’s alternately young looking face. Though by birth he is a young man at twenty-three years of age, he is capable of deceiving others of his age, since he appears to be much younger, like a teenager. At first sight, one would estimate him to be sixteen or seventeen, also with aid of his stunted height. Aizen’s eyes are brightly green, like apples fresh out of the orchard, trimmed yellow around the iris alike, and his pores are very visible, in droves like the forest that could sustain his fruitful eyes. Without tensing any of his facial muscles, his mouth looks like it is naturally smiling, somewhat feint, but there is a kind smile melted on to Aizen’s face.
Flowing in thick strands that cover over his ears, and hide most of his forehead in the process, is a full head of orange hair. Though it has been dyed to appear orange, and it is not Aizen’s natural hair colour, the orange suits him and he has gone so far as to dye his eyebrows at the same time; complimenting his peachy coloured skin tone.
Gender: Male
Rank: C (Kumogakure) S (Akatsuki)
Ninja Rank: Chunin (Kumogakure) Jounin (Akatsuki)
Village: Kumogakure
Birthplace: Kumogenshu Garan (Cloud Monestary)
Previous Village: None
Clan/Bloodline: Kasumoya clan ; Moyakami Tenpuku
Personality: Talking is a no holds bar when it comes to Aizen, say it, regret it, forget it, and move on. Luckily, most of what he says, as bluntly as it may be, is actually quite kind and perceptual. He has a very welcoming personality, and will instantly assume the role of mending a broken leg or heart, or assisting someone when the option comes his way. Some could call it charity, but Aizen in turn believes in a worldly karma, instead of simple kindness. As long as he is good to others, he believes they will treat him the same, and perhaps along the way he will earn many comrades who will eventually pay him his charity back. He upstarts a reverse butterfly theory, without chaos or misery.
Aizen also believes that friendship is a power much stronger than any fist or jutsu. And he will gauge not his own strength, but the strength of his connections, and most of all the closely-knit bond of friends he has gathered. The stronger the entire group is reflects as a whole, with each individual willing to back up the man on their right and left. With strong connections comes invincibility, and Aizen is quite the diplomat when he needs to be.
Aizen’s name has a rather deep and meaningful translation. It means gentle, calm…Hovering like mist or clouds. It is a name that reflects Aizen’s core features quite thoroughly. He has always been a very calm and gentle person, who resorts to creating peace instead of hostility; like a cloud, hovering just off of the water, incapable of much harm. Sometimes on the line of duty, his job will have to bypass his own morals, but it is easy to forget what a sin is in the middle of a life-or-death situation.
Goals: To unify the known world, a great goal that Aizen has deemed tangible
Alignment: Neo-Akatsuki
Canon Personality: None

History:
- Spoiler:
- As a young boy, Aizen was raised by his humble father, who was the one to teach him a passive and peaceful way of life. The way of the Kasumoya monks, who served as the cloud rulers of the village outer walls. They regulated the clouds that veiled the fair village Kumogakure, and thus became a defensive unit that rarely embarked beyond the Land of Lightning. As a young monk, Aizen was taught to pray to the deity of storms, who was believed to be protecting their village. He was told that there was a time where he would come of age, and receive the Storm God’s blessing, a Kekke Genkai that passed through many adherent family members. In his father’s footsteps, Aizen became like the archetype Kasumoya monk, and withheld tradition to its best.
In these youthful years, as a monk’s training dictated, the first and most important morals must be integrated within the monk in his very first years. Aizen was taught prudence, peace, and loyalty both to the family, and the great village of Kumogakure that he would eventually serve and protect. His daily chores and sessions were always something made to assist the village or outpost in any way possible. Sometimes he would gather berries, cultivate the farm, or locate areas that were deemed unsafe in the mountain. It forced the boy to become alert about his surroundings, and comfortable in the mountain ranges. Of course there was always his father who would watch out for him on these tutorial missions, in case Aizen was not careful enough.
Besides family, Aizen had no friends, yet as soon as he learned to speak, he was taught to express his true feelings and ideas at all times, in a very polite and respectful way. As was the way of the monk, to promote peace. He become comfortable doing this, and it extended from just family, to anyone he came across. No matter where he was, or whom he was speaking to, he had a way with words that would always include respect and proper etiquette, always aiming to befriend the individual. This is around the age that Aizen was appointed being the host to any guests to the outposts, which included the Kage or nobles.
Eventually when Aizen was deemed to be coherent and mature for a child, the village had assigned for various members of the Kasumoya monks to send their young to become ninja at the academy. This was brought on due to the largeness that became of the Kasumoya clan, and also because Aizen did not show any hint of having the Storm God’s blessing, the ‘Moyakami Tenpuku.’ Though it saddened him to be forced to leave, apparently only blessed Kasumoya monks were fit to guard the shrine as Cloud Rulers.
Life in the ninja academy was strange and confusing. Aizen was very unlike his classmates, who a majority were rather shy, yet he was quite the opposite. Trying constantly to earn their friendship, or obtain some renown among the class. Despite his charisma, Aizen was not the top student in the class, but instead made the effort of earning the classmates dearest friendship. This became a lasting friendship that until this day has held many secrets and promises. It was in that very brilliant student, that Aizen’s goals and new morals were formed; something that would stay with him even past the academy years.
As time rode by, and Aizen was coming very close to graduating the ninja academy, it became apparent that the Moyakami Tenpuku was in fact fluent, but late to bloom in the boys system, and that it would grow to its full power if he were to properly train it. Aizen stayed at the academy, and with his friends until the graduation… though he would not join any of them in squads, because he was needed back at the temple. Those with the gift were not commonly sent on to the frontlines or paired with other ninja, since it would take an extended amount of time just to prepare them. Aizen however decided to play a split role, both as an understudy under the grandmaster of his temple, as well as a fill-in member for a few ninja squads. He was one of the first of their monk order to assume cooperative offensive and defensive tactics in a mixed unit. His training withheld him from advancing in ranks as fast as his teammates, however he also maintained an odd youth that allowed him to always look like a junior ninja.
Genin rank was probably the least memorable moments in Aizen’s life, as it was always stretched out so thinly due to training his Moyakami Tenpuku. He did not have a single squad that he could call his own, but he did join these squads on any mission located close to his shrine. One of his close friends, Roku’s squad was frequently commissioned to the mountainside, and among all of the work and training, Aizen would always look forward to teaming up with them. Oddly though, Roku never attended the ninja academy, nor was he heard of until he was placed within a squadron.
Aizen had failed the chunin exams once, as he was unable to attend the final trials, and was held back as Genin until the next exams were ready to take place. During this time, his Moyakami Tenpuku was coming in to full bloom, which would create an instantaneous and tremendous boost in combat prowess. Roku was already a Chunin, and many of the D-rank missions Aizen took on became tedious and simple, with the only reward being a new friend or two. Thus Aizen took an unnecessary break from his squad duties to further advance in his temple training. He did not expect the break to consume an entire year, reducing his chances of joining the next chunin exams. Though by now… he was capable of mustering some of the most basic storm jutsu, under the Moyakami Kekkei Genkai.
Under special arrangements that Aizen was capable of talking his way in to, he went on to test his newfound powers in slightly more advanced missions. Sometimes pairing up with other squads, though it was very rare. His labeled rank was still D, however under disguise, Aizen had several C and one B rank mission succeeded under his belt. He began to gauge his own strength at this point, instead of what the paperwork said. Aizen Kasumoya, D-Rank Genin without a current squad: this is what was formally known about him. Though he was simply basking in Kumogakure’s tremendous shadow. Between his closely-knit comrades, he was considered a low B-Ranked ninja.
A story without context was eventually born by Aizen’s will, during a two-man mission to the slopes of the mountainside. Aizen and one close companion, Roku, had ventured out of reach of their objective, and had accidentally come across a small group of medium ranked missing-nin. The story as told by those outside of the confrontation went as such – after a rather short battle, the missing-nin, through an incredible act of mercy, allowed both Aizen and Roku to live, and left them to their own minor defeat. Instead, the other untold half of the story includes a reverse tale. Aizen and Roku together were able to match and nearly defeat a higher ranked shinobi in combat, but instead of killing or capturing the ninja whom Roku found out he knew… they decided to depart. Further away from the tree, this story altered and it was assumed that Aizen was associated with these missing ninja. The false name Iji was made up on that day, from the story told to Kumogakure, Iji was the name of the missing-nin that spared Aizen’s life. On the other side of the coin, Iji was the name that Aizen assumed in order to hide his true identity from the rogue ninja, so that he would not aim to take vengeance.
The chunin exams once again popped up in Kumogakure, and it was only through physical luck that Aizen preserved his youthful appearance. He was not mocked for being ‘too old’ once he entered the exams, and there was nothing holding him back from passing this year. In fact, Aizen felt that he had an unfair advantage compared to his peers, and that the reality of the chunin exams were to improve the state of the ninjas taking them. This is when Aizen’s practice of chakra control became his dominant skill, in order to preserve his strength below what he was capable of, to create a higher difficulty during the exams. When it came time for combat, Aizen found the most difficulty in keeping a reserve of strength, while only trying to defeat the opponent with a certain handicap. Of course, because of this the chunin exams did in fact serve their purpose to him, allowing bettering of himself even at his higher level. As he advanced to the rank of chunin, in secret he could truly consider himself an A ranked ninja, or at least a full B rank.
As Aizen ascended to the Chunin class, his duties at the shrine became fewer and fewer. Military work for the squad also became rather sparse, as he did not have a squad that he could call his own. Without much work from Kumogakure, Aizen decided to band together with his friend Roku in some of his less military based missions. Roku was sent to deliver a secret message to Amegakure that for some reason could not be sent by email, and would be traveling through the Land of Fire in order to reach this place. The travel would also serve Aizen to better understand the various other countries they called neighbors, and it was also a feet that very few Kasumoya monks ever managed to complete. Though upon the shift in climate, the forest might as well be a desert compared to the mountains of Kumogakure. The food was a lot better, though, in both of their opinions.
Eventually the two arrived at Amegakure, and split up for the time being. Roku had important services to attend to, while Aizen became a tourist and visited the various attractions. Though the rules of the village had him under surveillance the entire time, he made no effort to decline, and even asked the ninja watching over him to show him around. It was here in this village that Aizen’s run in with missing ninja became more serious.
Aizen was not aware of Roku’s past, or where he had come from, nor would he expect to be dragged in to Roku’s fight when he wound up failing the mission. His findings came in a sudden chaotic outburst, when the two ninja set to supervise Aizen were then told to kill him for his association with the criminal. Unsuccessful, yet both of them were only wounded, and not killed when the fight finished, leaving Aizen to run away when more pursuers came. Only the Storm God could possibly know where Roku was, but Aizen was not welcome in that village; the forest served as a temporary hiding zone, but trackers were still on his ass.
It became understood that Roku was actually a missing-nin to one of Amegakure’s enemy nations, yet had little use to Kumogakure. He was sent back on a false mission, which would purposely lead him to his capture. It was ranked as a fully safe mission, and no ninja were supposed to company him on that trip. Aizen was assumed to also be a missing-nin, and was instantly persecuted as such. Roku, who was captured, was interrogated thoroughly, yet cunningly named his accomplice “Iji” as an act of good faith in friendship. He did not expect the Amegakure ninja to believe it, yet they did, because of a much earlier run in with a Kumogakure ninja by that same name. From that day on, a bounty was laid on the head of ‘Iji Karaihou.’
Roku was never heard of again, and Aizen was left to fend for himself at the borders of the Fire and Rain countries. Several trackers were able to locate him, but not defeat him. Most of the trackers survived the fight; only the ninja who refused to give up wound up dead or paralyzed. By the time that the assailants stopped coming, Aizen found himself injured in an unknown country located north of Konoha, but inbetween Taki and Oto. The villagers were kind enough to tend to his wounds and feed him a small portion of their farmed rations. A week would pass until Aizen’s wounds healed, and he promised to help a little bit with the daily routines until he left again for Kumo. The villagers had given him a straw hat to remember them by, he wore it especially to hide his face.
Upon reaching the borders of the Lightning Country, Aizen was met by yet another impasse on his journey home. A rather high ranked bounty hunter, who had brought with him the headband of Roku, with an attempted bribe and story to pull Aizen’s leg. The circumstances of their meeting gave Aizen an insight, when the hunter referred to him as Iji, and spoke of Roku’s “escape.” The pieces of the puzzle didn’t fit, and logically Aizen could not let the assassin know of his true identity. A fight broke out, of which lasted several hours, much longer than any normal one. They were matched in strength, and versed in tactic, unable to strike or pull off many jutsu through the opponent’s defense. Eventually it came down to who had the greater chakra control, and who could last longer using what diminishing abilities they did. After those several hours, the assassin’s chakra reserve began to shrink, and he was unable to fight any further. Aizen was forced to dispose of him, and reclaimed the headband in the process.
Once returning to home, nobody knew of his adventure with Roku, and he could not tell anyone, else the same fate might happen to him. Aizen reclaimed the title of a C rank Chunin under the Cloud Ruler Kasumoya order, and hid all evidence of his travel to Amegakure. Aizen thought that his identity was secure, but his mindset had heavily changed from that day on. The government he was trained to protect had faults, and would likely have him killed if the right information were to leak. A sense of insecurity began to poison his mind, though on the outside he always acted the same – a subversive mentality formed from within. He questioned the state of the world, and the ‘peace’ that it was in.
And then one day Aizen was approached by a rogue figure, someone who knew about his past, and his divided alias. This someone did not appear as an enemy though, but instead shared a similar set of paradigms, to subvert the very governments that enthralled the world. Iji Karaihou became a member of the Neo-Akatsuki that day, while Aizen resumed his humble life as a monk. To signal his acceptance, Iji slashed his own headband, and wore it around his straw hat; while Aizen would wear Roku’s headband instead. The next few years became a blur, and becoming a Jounin wasn’t even a priority anymore.

Re: Aizen Kasumoya
I thought that was kind of explained in his history. I'm sorry if it was unclear.
Well, Aizen assumed two split aliases in order to obtain two separate rankings. He is a Kumokagure chunin, and an Akatsuki member in disguise. So when he’s not in his Akatsuki robes under the Alias of Iji, people know him as a C ranked Chuunin.
Is this okay? :S I tried to get in contact with some Akatsuki members before I made him, but I couldn’t…

Re: Aizen Kasumoya
Alll element combinations are only 2 because you use one element in each hand and combine them.
Re: Aizen Kasumoya
Well I looked that up, and I think I forgot to put the P.S notes when I posted all the new information.
Can I try and explain why he would have those three? I'm sure the circumstances might be acceptable, but I'd leave it to you.
