Description: Kinzokufo-ji is the powerful ability to manipulate metals that the person has implanted chakra into. By pushing chakra into a metal object, it can be molded into the shape that is needed, purified to a greater extent, or sharpened simply through manipulation of the metal. The ability typically requires the person to touch the metal and the metal cannot be manipulated beyond the area the chakra can be spread effectively. This typically requires some sort of medium for the chakra to be transferred as open areas will prevent it from operating effectively beyond 20 feet unless it is a chain like item in which the user can easily send chakra (metal is clearly the easiest medium for them).

This ability does give possessors the ability to mold fire and earth element techniques since metal is easiest to manipulate while heated and it needs a source for its ability. Typically, the users must carry the metal they need to use with them, but if there are large sources of metal around, it can be manipulated.

Weakness: This does not give them the ability to redirect kunai or thrown metal weapons. As well, many special weapons cannot be affected by Kinzokufo-ji because of the constant energy that runs through them. It typically depends on the nature of the weapon that is being used.
