The birth of the clan began with a woman named Selinity Ryota, a strong woman who specialized in Kenjutsu and most forms of Taijutsu. Her father was a weapon crafter, teaching her the basics of crafting at a young age. Together they both began to make more weapons, throwing ideas together while her mother opened a shop. The 'Ryota Weaponsmith' was the first shop created from the clan, Selinity's mother being the manager of the shop. The three of them would spend days and nights designing ideas for the shop until it was finally built in Suna's walls.

At first, the shop started slow, however after a famous Kenjutsu master bought one of these weapons and word spread. People began to come to the shop more, ordering weapons and creating a waiting list that would take months to complete. The shop was a big hit; but due to all good things coming to an end, so to the shop. After months and months of being in business, a gang of three came to the shop after being sent from their leader to steal as many weapons as possible. The now new adult Selenity soon rose up to fight these men, however her father stepped before her and was killed before her eyes. Attempting to preserve her fathers work, she tried to fight these men but her own mother even risked her life to protect her father and the shop.

With the defeat of the daughter the gang members made off with weapons, leaving the shop to burn with her inside. A young man, who had hoped to see the daughter and possibly have a weapon crafted, saw this fire rise and burst in. Seeing Selinity lying unconscious, he risked his life to save her, escaping just before the roof collapsed. All weapons were mostly lost, despite the villagers putting the flames out later, but Selinity's life was saved.

This was when Selinity began to grow a sense of justice and began to grow a higher sense of honor, loyalty, and protection of those close to her. Making her goal to find these gang members and kill the leader, the young man who was in love with her began to follow her at her side. It wasn't to long before they fell in love and thus new life was born, their first son. Setting the hunt aside for the time being, Selinity and her husband began to raise their child with these new ways. This child was thus the creation of the Sabure kekegenkai in the Ryota clan as well, obtaining it from the father's side.

When the son was grown, the mother and father set off and returned to their previous mission of hunting the gang members down. This left the son with other Ryota clan members, teaching some of them what his grandfather knew on how to create weapons while others aided him in weapon creation. They called him a natural due to his weapon abilities and it was believed maybe the Sabure keke had something to do with this; although they were wrong.

Days and nights were spent, waiting on his parents arrival until they had received word of their deaths as well. Apparently, while killing off most of the gang members their lives were also taken due to the mastery of ninjutsu. With his abilities in mind and his will power growing strong, the son then began to train on his own time and occasionally with the masters of the arts within the clan to grow in power. The sense of justice placed on him grew stronger and there were many times he would go to the elders to obtain wisdom, seeking whatever he could to become a full fledged adult-like figure before his teenage years would actually come.

As his teenage years hit, he was said to be ready to fight with his abilities and thus the seek for revenge came yet again. Hunting down the new found base, the son infiltrated it and began to kill them off one by one with his mastery over his skills and the abilities of his bloodline. Soon enough, the leader was left and after a extended fight the leader's life was finally taken. This made the son a hero amongst the clan and finally honor felt restored, even dubbing him as the next possible leader. The course of revenge did not fade, as the son of the leader seek out those of Suna and the son, creating yet another fight. However, with the victory of Selinity's son finally ended the chaos of that time. From there, the clan began to spread thought out the village all the more, along with their talents and the bloodline.

Many years later, after the clan had fully spread and grown in the village of Sunagakure, two young brothers were also born; Norio and Tomotsu. These two grew together following the same ways of the clan, however it was obvious that their desires for the clan's future were also different. Norio followed the ways of his ancestors, only attributing a few things to uphold the honor of the clan. On the other hand, his twin younger brother Tomotsu believed in changing the ways and forgetting about silly things such as honor. When Norio came into power, the dark hearted Tomotsu became outraged and jealous, rising up and thus moving elsewhere in Suna. This separated the clan based on beliefs, even separating families who seemed were believed to never be torn apart.

With this separation soon brought war, despite Norio trying to make peace with his younger brother. Tomotsu would not rest until everyone joined him or died and he was leader of the clan. He wanted everything from his brother and due to those following him no matter what, they would go out and kill even their own loved ones. It was then Norio saw that only the death of his younger brother would seem to end the fighting, and so he gathered some of his strongest forces and had them trained for defense. These forces were skilled in assassination and infiltration, making them a large threat to Tomotsu. Three of those forces well known today are none other than Gina Ryota, Akatora Ryota, and Hakuro Ryota. Tomotsu then had his own designed, a few of which being Cross Ryota and the twins Mizuki and Hizuki.

The fighting persisted until finally the Kazekage threatened to banish them all from the village. By then, most of the clan members were dead, had moved, or were still head strong about following their own leader. Norio obeyed the Kazekage while Tomotsu attempted to fight him, falling due to his foolishness. Peace was later created, although both sides never crossed paths.

Finally as days progressed until Norio saw the next person to be the next possible leader of the clan who may even bring the two sides together, none other than Katsumi Ryota. Days and nights she trained, and after finally becoming of age, Norio requested her presence. Katsumi already had the goal of becoming leader of the Ryota's and to lead them in the ways that Selenity and the past leaders tried so hard to build. Granting her leadership, Norio stepped down. As soon as Tomotsu heard, he was pleased with this and thus saw his opportunity to obtain leadership. Setting forth with a few selected protectors, he challenged Katsumi and thus the fight for leadership began.

Numerous Ryota clan members came to watch, witnessing both of the leaders power. It was then people realized that Katsumi had the bloodline Sabure, a bloodline believed to have faded years ago during the clan wars. As the final attack was laid and Katsumi was the victor, Tomotsu finally showed a little sign of respect and granted her leadership of the opposite side of the clan. Thus, the clan was reunited, Katsumi began leader and accomplished her goals, and peace and order was restored.



Special Info: Clan is well-known for weapon creation, which is why just about every weapon they carry was created by the clan. Somewhere on each weapon, the clan leader (or selected few) also inscribe the members name somewhere on the weapon before placing a seal on it. [Jutsu explained in Spoiler]

Each member of this clan usually puts the younger ones through hell, trying to make them as strong and endurable as possible. This means that majoirty of the time, each member is always on guard no matter the situation and is normally quick on their toes when it comes to reacting. Rather then taught to attack first and ask later, they also put through scenarios so that they may evaluate the scenario as fully as possible before reacting.

Members of the clan are mostly known for being well rounded with taijutsu, kenjutsu, and weaponry for it is required that each member learns at least the basics of each. However, this does not mean that they has these as their speciality. Due to the clan wars, the clan itself is well rounded in their techniques.

There have also been records of clan members possessing the 'Sabure' Kekegenkai. Unlike the rarity of the past, there have been more and more cases of people within the clan possessing it. This bloodline however is more recessive and thus if two people were to reproduce and both had bloodlines, the other bloodline tends to appear before Sabure does.


Requirements: Be born into the clan, marry into the clan, be accepted by the leader into the clan. Members are normally kicked out if they have done something to dishonor the clan, betrayed a clan member, etc. Simply be loyal and true to the clan, defending it as much as possible.
