Name of the Kekkei Genkai: Ijin Kurie Shon - The Devil's Art

Type of Kekkei Genkai: Creation, manipulation, transformation, or destruction of the body, element, or an object/material.

Clan: Souzousha clan

Rank: C-S

Description: Ijin Kurie Shon is a very unique kekkei genkai that has belonged to the Souzousha clan for centuries. Originally this power was given to the Souzousha clan by the demon god Ashura and ever since it has been passed from generation to generation within their genes. Now Ijin Kurie Shon is a power that has three basic components and stages to it. The first of these stages is transforming. Transforming within the elements of Ijin Kurie Shon is very simple. First off the user will use their Ashi (chakra) to manipulate an objects structure and alter it in the way in which they want. This allows the user to manipulate the very construct of objects and change them. This is the very first step to unlocking the further abilities of Ijin Kurie Shon. The next step in Ijin Kurie Shon is Destroying. Once one has learned to manipulate an object, they can then learn how to break it down and destroy it. By separating the same properties that they used to manipulate an object, the user breaks down those them instead, causing the make up of the object to become unstable and collapse in on itself. This can also be done in a way that will cause the components to collapse outward as well, causing the object itself to explode. This happens because of the instability of the molecules of the object, which starts a chain reaction that causes it to violently react. This reaction is what causes said object to explode. This is very easy with items that's make up has already been altered by the user. This is because the user can make the bindings of said element as simple as they want but still stable, which makes it so the object won't explode but also is easy to break down and tear apart. However this can be done with objects that have not yet been altered by the user. This however takes a lot more focus and Ashi (chakra) to do. Usually only those who have had extensive practice with Ijin Kurie Shon can do this without too much trouble. Also when an object's make up is torn apart in this manner it is never very clean and often damaged any remaining components of the object. Masters of Ijin Kurie Shon can take this to another step all together and even focus the area of which is destroyed. This usually causes only a small part of the object to break apart but it is done with a lot of force, which can make it a very useful weapon. The final stage of Ijin Kurie Shon is Creating. After one has learned to manipulate and destroy the construct of an object, they can learn how to create new objects by using some sort of other object, element, or material. At first this seems similar to the transforming process but instead of changing the object, they create a completely different one. The science behind it is that first the user will change the make up of an object. Then they break down certain properties of said object and replace it with new ones using either what they already have, which is reconstruction, or they fill in the holes with Ashi (chakra) creating the bond needed to form something new. The end result on this simply of a scale is a completely different object then what they started with. (ex.taking a nail and turning it into a sword.) Those who are more skillful with Ijin Kurie Shon can do this another way. By using their Ashi (chakra) an expert can freely create objects as they wish based on the amount of Ashi (chakra) they use. This typically takes more Ashi (chakra) and focus then it would if they reconstructed it from another object, element, or material, but it is still very useful. Also to lessen the Ashi (chakra) and focus needed for this, users will typically use some of their blood as a base for the creation.

Though this is the baseline of Ijin Kurie Shon's powers it is not the peak of it. Due to the fact that the members of the Souzousha clan are creations of Ashura himself, they also contain his blood and his Ashi (chakra). This allows them to tap into some of his abilities to not just heighten their power, but to also make using Ijin Kurie Shon simpler. This power is focused on two points of the Souzousha's bodies. Their blood and their Ashi (chakra). Ashi (chakra) is the dark energy or chakra that Ashura possesses. This is what is needed for using Ijin Kurie Shon. The next element is the black blood that Ashura has. This strange black blood has healing capabilities that allows a Souzousha clan member to heal their wounds and lessen the damage that they take in battle. This provides them with an easily accessible material to channel their Ashi (chakra) through and their for create things easier, without using too much of their strength and eliminates the possibility of bleeding out unless they are too heavily damaged. (Note: Souzousha clan members can't regenerate limbs at all or stop internal bleeding. It simply allows them to heal lesser or medium sized woulds by using small amounts of Ashi (chakra).) Though their blood boosts their ability to fight it is not required for Ijin Kurie Shon. Ashi (chakra) is the key to Ijin Kurie Shon's power and abilities, and it is Ashi (chakra) that provides them with even more power.

A well trained member of the Souzousha, who has gained control of their Ashi (chakra) is able to use a very unique power of Ijin Kurie Shon. This power is called Sumizome Tenma Katachidzukuru, which is a technique that covers and changes the make up of a Souzousha clan member's body with a powerful and concentrated veil of Ashi (chakra). This Ashi (chakra) acts as a base for any and all creations that the user wishes to make and also allows them to use certain techniques that they normally couldn't perform. The user can also use the Ashi (chakra) itself as a weapon, though it can be very hard to control the Ashi (chakra) while in its pure state. However, even though Sumizome Tenma Katachidzukuru opens up new techniques and abilities for the user, it also makes it impossible for them to use any other type of jutsu other than that of Ijin Kurie Shon.

The final strength of Ijin Kurie Shon is something that no other member of the Souzousha clan can do however, except Mitsuko, due to her and Ashura himself being one. The final strength of Ijin Kurie Shon comes directly from Ashura's powers and is his most powerful ability. This is known as Shukusatsu, which is a unique element that Ashura possesses. Shukusatsu is the element of blight, which works like a disease that causes things to decay and die. Ashura used this deadly power of his to destroy things, allowing him to then use Ijin Kurie Shon to create what he wanted instead. While this element is very dangerous and destructive it is also only obtainable by Ashura himself, which means for Mitsuko to use it, it requires that she shares control of her body and soul with Ashura. Only then can she tap into their power. Though Shukusatsu can decay things, it takes on its full strength when combined with other elements other than water or earth. This is because when it is by itself, unless Ashura himself is using it, acts as a double edged sword. When blight is released it can only quickly decay things that t becomes directly in contact with. Remaining particles of it often become as roaming fog like gas that slowly travels through the air, slowly decaying things that comes in contact with. These fumes often cycle through the air around the user and the targeted spot or object and flows outward from there. This means that as long as the user is also within the facility of the fumes, then they will also feel the slowly decaying effects of the blight in the air. (Note: Shukusatsu is NOT something that can be healed over the course of its contact and decaying, even with special healing abilities or jutsu. It simply causes too much damage and decay too fast. If affected by the fumes though. It can be treated as long as the person or thing is not still within the fumes.)

Weakness: Even though Ijin Kurie Shon is very powerful and has existed and evolved over the centuries with each generation of the Souzousha clan, it is not without its flaws and weaknesses. The most dominate weakness within it is the fact that it requires a lot of focus and practice to control and very exact measurements of Ashi (chakra) distribution to perform. Those who have not taken the time and effort to study everything about it and how it works, will most often fail when using it. Also it is very hard to endure any self transformation that may be performed on ones self and if not careful, permanent damage to ones cells and body could happen. Now each stage of Ijin Kurie Shon has its flaws. Transforming is very limited in what it can do. Typically one can only transform the object to the point where it can be formed to make something within a similar elemental complex and make up as the transformed item. Experts can alter the limits of this of course but by itself, transforming isn't very powerful by itself. Destruction is by far the most dangerous of the three stages and if used correctly, the most deadly. However if it backfires it will cause more damage to the user then anything else. This is because the user is the one breaking down the chemical bonds of the object and if they screw up then it becomes unstable and of course releases that energy as an explosion. The larger the mistake and alteration, the more violent the explosion. If a Souzousha clan member were to mess up in this process then they it could end in three ways. If it is a small alteration with a small explosion, then it will deliver a feeling much like shell shock (fatigue, slower reaction times, indecision, disconnection from one's surroundings, and inability to prioritize) and small damage to their bodies. If it is a medium alteration, with a medium sized explosion, it will deliver a good amount of damage and most likely will cause the user's hands to longer be attached to the user's arms. A large alteration with a large explosion will end with the user dead and possibly in pieces. The last stage is creating. Creating is something that has very little limits within its boundaries. But the limits are not what is the draw back with creation. When creating the user must know how and what they are creating and then put in the correct amount of Ashi (chakra) into the creation. If they don't then either the creation will simply stop and move straight to the destruction stage, which means the creation becomes unstable and then goes boom. If they put in enough to create it but not get everything exactly correct, then the creation will either be deformed in some way or not be a sturdy creation. (ex: A suit of armor that is created improperly being hit by a sword and leaving an easy slice in it.)

There are also flaws in the other powers within Ijin Kurie Shon, like Sumizome Tenma Katachidzukuru. Though Sumizome Tenma Katachidzukuru is a very powerful form for members of the Souzousha clan, it has a very large disadvantage to t as well. While the user is within Sumizome Tenma Katachidzukuru they are unable to use any jutsu that aren't part of Ijin Kurie Shon. Also elemental techniques are unable to be used because the use of elements other than Shukusatsu is impossible. So even for normal members of the Souzousha clan are unable to their dominate element within Sumizome Tenma Katachidzukuru.

The last flaw of the powers within Ijin Kurie Shon is one that is not typical at all. This is based on the decaying element of Shukusatsu. The element Shukusatsu is unique only to the demon god Ashura. Because he lives and exists inside of Mitsuko, when they both share perfect control over the body together, it allows Mitsuko to also use this unique element. Normally this elements decaying properties don't affect Ashura, but due to Mitsuko being herself, and therefore not Ashura, she is affected by the decaying element, though it does effect her slower then others. To put this more simply, Mitsuko and her body are affected by the decaying properties of Shukusatsu, even though she shares a body with Ashura.
