Description:

The Kekkei Genkai Bloodline limit of the Soragoei Clan is Dragon DNA. Long ago, starting with the ancestors of the Soragoei Clan, the dragons gifted the original clan members with abilities of dragons, including wings that allowed for sustained flight. Slowly, these traits developed in humans, and became better and stronger. Before, flying was a much more arduous task because humans were too heavy for flight, and more energy was consumed flying. Now, the body is better adapted for flying. There are different, smaller features that Soragoei clan members possess, but the main ability of the Soragoei clan is the ability to fly.

One other trait Soragoei Clan members possess is toughened skins. Dragons, like all reptiles, have scaly, armor like skin. Though it is not like armor that will block a sword strike, but it will help to defend against attacks. Their skin is hard, and a bit cold to the touch. This gives them more resistance against weather. Also, they gain tough, solid claws on their toes, and smaller claws on their hands, which they can retract and bring out like claws on a cat. In addition, all keratin based substances, including hair, become tougher, and darken in color. Lastly, members of the Soragoei clan age much slower than normal people, and live longer, with the average lifespan of Soragoei clan members (including those killed in battle) being two hundred years. Also, in time, more dragon like traits, like forked tongues, and horns, may possibly develop in older members.

The wings of Soragoei clan members are present when they are born, but they are immediately sealed away through a Fuuinjutsu, which keeps that part of the body completely out of use. When a clan member is sixteen, they are eligible to awaken their wings. When their wings are first awakened, they are rather weak, and cannot even power up their jumps. However, over years, they will gain strength, and allow the user of the Kekkei Genkai to soar through the skies effortlessly, and battle airborne. Though it all depends on their skill level, the most skilled users of this Kekkei Genkai can move through the sky like dragonflies. They can move forward, sideways, wheel through the sky, hover, or even go backwards. The wings look like the wings of dragons, and when stretched out, each is one bigger than the actual person who uses them.

Weakness:

In exchange for their ability to take to the skies, the Soragoei clan member must give up something (their weight.) Their bones are rather weak, and have many open spaces inside of them to decrease their weight. They must keep in top physical condition, or they lose the ability to fly. Also, they must keep their wings in shape as well. They must constantly exercise them, usually at least once a day, in order to keep their muscles strong.
