Four Way Free-For-All!

Yamazu found himself falling forwards as Yousei deflected his attack. He rolled across the ground and jumped, landing about ten meters away, his hands already forming handseals before he had even touched the ground. He felt the hair that covered his body thicken a split second before all three of the kunai hit him, deflected by hair that was suddenly as thick as any armour. He made sure to cover his ears.

Again with the explosions? Yamazu thought to himself as the tags went off with a huge bang, jumping away to avoid too much of the concussive damage and fire that also served to hide his disappearance.

Thanks to the force of the blast, Yamazu was carried straight into the trees. Making more handseals as he went, instead of crashing into the tree he went straight into it, melding with it until he was totally gone. Only his smile remained, almost impossible for someone in a fight to spot. In this mode, he slipped away from the tree and through the ground towards his foe (Yousei). He made no noise whatsoever. Silently, he popped up (only up to his waist) out of the ground behind Yousei, his hands at his mouth. He exhaled and another fireball came forth, bigger than the ones that he had previously unleashed.

Going back into the ground without waiting to see if his jutsu struck true, his torso re-appeared close to the Yousei clone, his hands still at his mouth. This time, a large amount of thick mud spewed out all over the clone. Looking faintly sick, Yamazu finally popped out the ground, clapping his hands together to summon his Staff (which he had dismissed when he flew into the tree). Swaying a little, he tapped the Staff onto the ground which brought forth a Monkey Clone. Giving its' master a sympathetic look, the unarmed clone jumped at Clous with a laugh, engaging him with its' fists.

Yamazu took a back seat for a little while, leaning on his Staff in the middle of the battlefield while he recovered from using so many jutsu in such a sort time. He panted slightly and wiped his brow, his happy smile still plastered on his face.

There wasnt much taht could be done. Clous watched as the weapons were thrown toward him, they closed in on mark. But Clous didnt plan on getting hit, he would have to slightly divert, and break his chakra flow. It would only set him back a few seconds, but in battle those few seconds could easily mean ones life. A single shadow clone appeared in front of Clous as i fit were building up chakra as well. Clous continued to re-establish his connection with Koori. The Clone took the hits from the thrown weapons and dissapreaded in a puff of smoke. Cloust watched the clone of Yousei as it landed nearby and was charging him. Likewise he could see the clone of the monkey preist also engaging him, but it didnt matter now he was done.

With his chakra vissable and radiating from his body Clous watched as his senses turned razor sharp. He focused on every single little detail within his own body not wanting to rip himself apart. Yousei's clone was close, inches away from striking him, with the monkey clone a few steps behind but quickly closing the distance. He wated no time in letting his chakra erupt from his body. The dark blue auro started to rotate quickly starting from the core of Clous' body and quickly expanding. It's force rushed against the clones and exploded outward. The wave expanded riping at the ground bellow. Earth buckled and boulders unearth as Ground Zero was released for the first time in months. Clous couldnt help but feel a twinge of excitement as he watched his jutsu advance toward his two targets. Their only safe haven being to get out of range. BUt they didnt know how far that was.

As soon as the wave started to weaken around Clous he lowered his focus a bit letting the wave do the work for him. This would give him some time to rest, and catch his breath. Closu was panting and smirking a bit. He was psyched, having succesfully pulled the jutsu off without a hitch. Koori was now freely flowing through his body. It was amaizing. He could do just about anything now without even having to collect water. His chakra continued to radiate from him as he readed his next move. Both of his katar were already in place back to his sides as he held his katana Tatsuma firmly in hand.

Yousei's kunai successfully hit their target and exploded, but soon after that Yamazu was lost out off sight. Yousei turned to Clous and started analysing the situation over there. And that was his mistake, while analysing he sensed Yamazu appearing behind him too late and couldn't dodge the fireball that was fired at him. But he was still lucky to be in time to see the the attack. Yousei focused his vision on the fireball and created an air hole right between it and himself. The fireball went through it and until it reached Yousei's body, it was strongly weakened. He got a slight burn on his left shoulder. "Too careless..." "I know."

Yousei then turned back to Clous, where Yamazu had just appeared. Monkey priest paralyzed Yousei's clone and sent his own clone to interrupt Clous, but he was too late. Clous was already prepared and unleached his bloodline attack. The strong blast of water and cold destroyed the wind clone and most likely Yamazu's clone too. The power of this attack was no surprise for Yousei, as he had already analysed Clous while he performed it, now he only neaded to think of how to use it to his advantage.

Yousei had an idea of breaking through the wave and attacking Clous directly, while he was still unprepared after the blast, but Yousei's eyes caught something. He saw the 4th person who was meant to fight with them here, the goat boy, who had collapsed and the wave would reach him. Before it did reach him, Yousei wind stepped there and took the boy. Right then, he noticed the difference. "Nice trick, young one...Kai!" The genjutsu was dispelled and the boy's body disappeared.

The wave was coming near him, as Yousei turned to it and formed few handseals. "Hiryuu!" The wind blew around Yousei's body and lifted him into the air, above the wave. He spotted Clous and flew above him. As he reached the right position, he aimed at Clous with his right hand and unleached a really strong lightning bolt.

Oh one person had already figured it out and dispelled his genjutsu clone. Now it was all a matter of where Fujimoto Kazuma was at. His location was now a mystery to all the others fighting. They had no clue in where he was or what he was doing. Now he was completely hidden and camouflaged with none of the fighters actually knowing where he was at. So Fujimoto Kazuma waited, analyzed with his dojutsu, and studied. Studying every single one of their moves. Yousei could use lightning and wind, one of which was his elements. Clous however used water and the monkey priest used earth. Almost no chakra was being used or had been used by Fujimoto. He however didn't want to waste this opportunity and began calculating their strengths and abilities, and what he could do to defeat them. All four of them new ninjutsu, and of course they new how to use their element. What to do to take them surprise and be completely secretive at the same time? No one knew his current location; all they would possibly know is... Fujimoto was laughing to himself. Quietly Fujimoto folded his paper kunai with the paper he had in his pack. He would be able to make a fine weapon out of this.

(Im not going to reveal too much right now. My character is currently studying you guys so go ahead and do stuff.... Would you like me to give you my dojutsu in a spoiler.)

As Yamazu stood by and watched, he realised he maybe should of focussed a little more on what the other guy, Clous, was doing just as much as Yousei. Now that he thought about it, where was the other guy, the goat kid? Oh well. The big wave was coming to him fast and he needed to do something. Fast. Crouching down, he jumped high into the air, once again using little bursts of Fuuton chakra to keep himself airborne. It would not keep him in the air for long, but it would keep him there just long enough to jump over the wave and straight towards Clous's postition.

While still in the air, Yamazu noticed that Yousei had the same idea as him and was somehow staying in the sky, unlike him who could only stay up for a few moments. The Monkey-Priest had thought of using his Staff, but he wanted to keep some of it's secrets for later. He could not reveal them all in one go. That would make for a bad surprise for the others!

Suddenly, Yamazu realised that he could not keep himself in the air anymore and was about to start heading down to the ground again. Bracing himself, he made sure that his falling trajectory sent him straight towards Clous. No doubt unleashing such a big attack would of taken a lot of energy and make him more open to an attack. Yamazu was getting closer when a lightning bolt zapped straight towards his target. He did not have enough time to stop himself, however the attack was not aimed at him, but at Clous. Yamazu's falling strike would land a second after the lightning, increasing his chance of making contact. As he swung his Staff forwards, the Monkey-Priest decided that he liked those odds.

To say that Clous was annoyed was an understatement. These guys just wouldnt go down, and one of them had decided to play hide n seek. Clous did what he could to regain himself as Yousei and Yamazu approached, but he knew that right after using that jutsu he would only be able to avoid one. But soon a thought arrized and mide Clous smirk a bit, it could have been a bad idea but he was sure he could pull it off. But right after he knew he would have to put some distance between himself the other two. With his mist blade still in effect he knew he only had one chance before his jutsu was no longer in affect, and after direct contact it would fail anyway.

Clous disconected his katar and crossed them in front to block hte lightning jutsu. It pushed him back almost knocking him off of his feet, but luckily far back enough to avoic the strike from Yamazu. With chakra building into his legs Clous started to run for the nearest source of cover and jumped as high as he could toward the trees. With his katar now in place at his sides he leaned back and started his plot to move this fight in his direction. Now he was hoping that either, or both Yousei and Yamazu would follow him. With the tingling senstion radiating through his arms from the lightning jutsu Clous was wondering if he would be able to calm himself enough before they closed in. Or if he was lucky they would go back to fighting eachother.

As Yousei released the lightning at Clous, he saw Yamazu in the air nearby, following his sent bolt. For a moment Yousei thought he landed a direct hit, but soon he realised, that Clous actually blocked the lightning somehow. Yamazu's strike was avoided too and Clous rushed into the forest, most likely to hide and recover from the use of his bloodline ability. Yes, Yousei already understood that wave, which was released by Clous wasn't normal water manipulation and the new flow of chakra that Clous had wasn't any of standard chakra.

Yousei landed and thought of following Clous to catch him unprepared, but then remembered Yamazu, who would have been left behind and Yousei already had expierience of what happens if you show your back to your opponent. He put his hands together, forming a handseal for Shadow Clone. Two of them instantly appeared next to him. One turned back to Yamazu, while the second one continued in Clous' direction.

The one charging at Yamazu suddenly jumped into the air and swung the katana in his hand to release a wave of wind. "Fuushou" The clone then landed and unleached the strikes repeatedly at Yamazu. Yousei heard the words his clone spoke. "You ready?" "Yep!" There was a slight motion inside Yousei's soul, as the Phoenix opened his chakra for Yousei and flames flowed into his chakra system. While turning back at Yamazu, Yousei formed a single handseal of Tiger and brought his hands to his mouth. "Katon: Hosenka!" Right after the flaming shuriken were shot out, he swung his hand and sent a blast of wind to strengthen the fire attack, as well as increase the speed of shurikens. "Alright... now onto the other matters at hand."

While Yousei stopped for fire release at Yamazu, his other clone approached the forest. He didn't know exact location of his opponent, so he could count the whole forest enemy territory. And it would be stupid to charge right into enemy territory without any preparations. The clone formed a bunch of seals in a swiftly stopped. He waited. Then suddenly he recieved what he waited for, the fire chakra from Phoenix. He spread his hand as the flames appeared all around him and sweeped in three ways towards the forest. "Katon: Hibashiri!" Next the clone put his hands to his mouth and let out a great wind blast. "Fuuton: Daitoppa!" The blast crashed into the forest and set quite a part of it on fire. The clone sighed "I'm sorry." and disappeared.

Yamazu watched as Clous ran off into the forest. The Monkey-Priest failed to see what good that would do. Even if he took a short break from the fighting he could not recover the lost chakra he had spent on that big wave jutsu. He would need a nice, long relaxing day with plenty of good food and drink to restore that much energy. Or maybe he was just making a tactical withdrawal to think on what he had learned of his opponents. Whatever the reason he was gone, leaving just him and Yousei again (and the goat kid, wherever he might be).

His attention was soon drawn sharply by his foe, who had sent several small fireballs at him with a small boost of wind. That would give them an extra 'umph' should they hit. Along with a clone who also sent out more concentrated blasts of wind, the Monkey-Priest had an idea. Yamazu noticed that Yousei had sent one of his clones out into the forest after Clous. Well, now he definitely would not get any rest. With a two clones out and his attention on the clone searching for Clous, Yamazu knew that now was the time to strike.

Yamazu dashed forwards straight into the oncoming jutsu. This would look like suicide, but the Monkey-Priest raised his Staff with one hand and spun it in a fast circle. The enemy's jutsu hit the Staff and was neutralised, deflected off the Staff harmlessly, along with the clones wind blasts. With his Staff, the Monkey-Priest felt nigh unstoppable! Making some handseals, he sent four fireballs at the clone, each in a strategic position that if the clone were to dodge, it would be immolated. Clones tended to be less skilled than their originators.

He kept running, making a single handsign with his free hand. Yamazu's image blurred and he seemed to split into four, each Yamazu looking blurry as they flashed forwards. The Monkey-Priest's speed suddenly sky-rocketed, dust clouds appearing behind all four Yamazu's such were their haste to close with the foe. The Yamazu's reached the real Yousei, each one swinging their Staff at different points of the foe's body simultaneously; the legs, head, torso and arm. Which one was real was impossible to tell, since they were all real, just three of them after-images while the other being Yamazu's actual attack.

As they struck, without taking his eyes off Yousei, Yamazu saw the forest that Clous fled into ignite into flame. Damn. It'll take more than a few good meals to walk that off.

Clous caught his breath as he watched the fight rage on without him. He noticed the clone approaching the forest. Guess I'll move. Before the clone even got close, and with Koori still coursing through his body he started to flee that portion of hte forest. He knew that his koori would prootect him from the flames for hte most part. but he was still surprised at how quickly it spread. Damn, he must have added some of that wind to make it progress faster.

The flames quickly caughght up and Clous jumped to the air grabbing a branch, he used his momentup to pull himself higher up into the air. Once he was settled he pushed off again and flew out of hte forest. His clothes singed a bit as he landed in the clearing. "Damn, that was too close. I almost lost it that time." Cllous formed his handseals and decided to carry out his plan regarldess of his current possition.

"Hidden mist Jutsu..." A thick mist started to shrouhd the area. This battle wsa quickly becoming attrition, but it had just turned to his kind of field. He let the mist shroud around his body as he jumped back into the mist that had reached him by now. Teh rest started to creep toward Yamazu and Yousei.

"Impressive..." "Yes, you're right. It's not an ordinary staff he wields." Yousei observed as his attacks were easily deflected and his clone defeated in a flash. Yamazu sure felt unstoppable with his staff, but he wasn't. Yousei focused Harangan on Yamazu, as the monkey priest started charging at him. Suddenly Yamazu performed a technique and his speed increased incredibly, leaving only traces of his movement behind. For a moment, Yousei saw three aditional blurred figures, but his Harangan soon adjusted and he cought up with Yamazu's movements. It was rare to see somebody moving that fast, but it still wasn't a limit, it wasn't even a half the limit of Yousei's eyes. The monkey sage Didn't run straight, he was making menouvers to fool the eyes of those who look at him. "What a waste of speed... He could do better, if he used this speed of surprise attack, not making his visual copies."

As Yamazu closed in, Yousei swiftly created a wind clone and wind stepped aside, to the forest (not the burning part). The staff strikes hit the clone, but didn't do any damage, they simply went through him and out. The clone started to counter-attack Yamazu by simply throwing punshes, kicks and katana slashes at him. Yousei observed the fight, until a dense mist covered the clearing and caused it too difficult to continue observing, even for Yousei's harangan. "Fog, here? Unusual..." "It's Hidden Mist technique... not a simple fog for you. Bet it was the Clous boy, who cast it." Yousei got onto a branch and gave an order to his wind clone. "Keep him busy, as long as you can." Then he hid his enchanted katana back into the seal and started silently moving through the forest and searching for anybody. He was planing to find Clous or the goat boy who didn't much of joined the fight.

From where Fujimoto was, he was laughing to himself. They just made it worse for themselves and Fujimoto now had the advantage. Fujimoto switched to thermal to see all of their locations. They didn't once think it would affect everyone just some. Fujimoto had been laying out some explosive tags silently around the field and this just made it a whole lot better. Now all he has to do is think about what do to do next. Fujimoto quickly made the hand seal to make three clones that all started to rush his opponents. While the real Fujimoto grabbed the specific tools he was working on and connected them using the string reeling technique. Five of his made origami kunai were going to be used in this move. They were all tied together by one inch of string each, and with each a long 100 feet rope line connected to his fingertips. In this fog how would the kunai be seen anyway. With full view of his opponents he jumped into the air and threw them directly aimed at each opponent.

Yamazu yawned as he fought against the wind clone in the dense fog. His foes were all gone and he was left fighting only images of them. They were smart to avoid close combat with him. After all, that is where he held the advantage. Every time he hit this clone it changed form, with the substance of nothing more than wind. With this in mind, he formed a handseal as he kept swinging at the clone then raised his hand to his mouth as his Staff was just hitting the clone. A great gush of air as the fog was pushed away along with the dispersed clone, which in its wind-like state had no way to defend against the sudden onslaught of pressure.

Just as he was congratulating himself on a job well done, Yamazu saw a kunai flying at him at the quickly reforming fog. With a speed that would hurt the eyes of most if they tried to follow, the Monkey-Priest raised his Staff and deflected the projectile. But the funniest thing happen. Instead of just flying away into the fog, the kunai made its way around his Staff and then just dangled there. It must be connected by string or something thought Yamazu. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the goat-boy loomed out of the fog and attacked. Ahhh, so this is his move deducted the Monkey-Priest. He swung the Staff down in an eye-blurring arc, the kunai still attached. The weapon went straight through the clone. The string that was attached to the real goat-boy would be violently pulled as well.

Clous was back in the forest now watching the fight. He was trained to fight with almost zero visability. After all it was his jutsu. He heard the sound of a high pitched whistle in the air. What ever was being thrown at him was light, and seemingly flat for some reason. Probably had something attached to it that altered its movements and aerodynamics. A smirk crossed Clous’ face as he stepped down from the tree. The kunai hitting the tree here he once was. He didn’t sped time worrying about which one of them threw it or how they were able to see him. After all he had other things to think about.

Clous paced back and forth as he waited. He could feel one of them coming, not sure which it was but they seemed to move with purpose. Plus there was the clone to his back that he needed to worry about. "Well this is a nice position to be in." A smirk crossed his face as he reached to his back for his katana, Tatsuma. With the sword held tightly in hand he waited, and soon Yousei cleared the area and faced him from a distance off. “Guess it’s you and me now?”

(You forgot my clone was rushing towards you and fact that that kunai was heading right for you)

Yousei rushed through the trees in the thick mist. He was keeping distance from the clearing, so the monkey sage wouldn't hear and attack him. He also repeatedly cleared the mist around him with simple, weak wind blasts to make sure he didn't wander off deep into the forest. Suddenly he felt someone's presence quite nearby and stopped. Quietly, while hiding behind the trees, he proceeded further and eventually saw the enemy. It was Clous, up in a tree, standing on a branch. He was looking deep into the mist, which seamed strange. It took few moments for Yousei to realize that Clous was actually watching the fight in the clearing. The fact that he could see through this mist was one of the hints to the mist being Clous' doing. The second hint was that in present situation only Clous from all four of them could do water techniques, maybe the goat boy too, Yousei had very few info about that kid, but he sure didn't look like water user.

Yousei was thinking of a way to approach Clous, when his ears caught a sound of flying kunai. Instantly his mind was alerted by this threat and suggested the position and direction of this incoming blade. It was coming from the clearing. Without looking that way, Yousei slammed his hands and wind started to spin around him creating a field. Once the kunai with a string was deflected, Yousei took it, stabbed into a tree and created a wind clone to follow the direction of the string, which must have led to the one who threw it. Just when the wind clone disappeared from the sight, he faced another clone on the enemy, which was just a simple clone and was defeated after a single punch. Yousei looked at Clous who also avoided kunai with a string and now stood on the ground. It was a good chance for an surprise attack.

Yousei did one wind step towards Clous and stopped. He was already waiting for him. “Guess it’s you and me now?” Clous held his sword and Yousei summoned his katana too. "More or less." It was certainly unfavorable to do a sword fight in Clous' mist, but Yousei wasn't even going to do that. He already had a plan. He stabbed his weapon into ge ground and without saying anything else swiftly formed a bunch of hand seals ending it with Tiger, he prepared for a complex jutsu combination that was going to be performed. "Your help is required again..." "Ok" As soon as Yousei felt the tiny flame inside him grow into a blazing inferno, he unleashed the technique. "Katon Ninpou: Hibashiri!" Flames ran towards Clous and surrounded him, while some other simply went in all directions. Trapping his opponent was an additional bonus for current situation, though the main purpose for this move and the flames for the next move. Yousei changed his hand seal into a Dragon and quickly gathered air around him. It took few moments for it to gather enough and then the following technique was unleashed too. "Eat some flames, water freak..." The gathered air around Yousei was released as a pressured blast in all directions, which wiped out the mist, trees and spread out the fire with an explosion when it came in contact with it.

While everything around him was getting destroyed by high pressure or fire, Yousei took his katana and pushed himself off the ground by releasing some wind chakra. When he rose above the forest, he looked down and saw his blast clearing the whole area from the mist. Now from the sky he saw his Wind Clone fighting the goat kid, who did the kunai-with-string thing. Yousei released some more chakra and dived targeting the boy with his katana.
