Kishikoi Akarui Empty Kishikoi Akarui

Post by Chiyoko Sun Mar 14, 2010 12:15 pm

Name: Kishikoi Akarui
Nickname/Alias: Akarui of the Light

Age: 17
Age Appearance: 17

Appearance: Akarui is an average height, thin framed boy. With sun-blond hair, in a short cut, in a very small ponytail at the base of the neck, Akarui's features are very soft. He has very effeminate facial features, which soften his appearance even more.

Gender: Male

Rank: S
Ninja Rank: Jounin

Village: Konoha
Birthplace: Konoha
Previous Village: -

Clan/Bloodline: -

Personality: Akarui is very... peculiar. While a competent ninja, he frequently feigns helplessness in an attempt to get attention from other ninja. Particularly those that he finds attractive. Akarui can be quite loud as well and will often comment things that should be left to his thoughts. For example, Akarui will often spend time at the training grounds trying to get attention from those he finds attractive and will often vocally comment on this, quite loudly in some cases. He can, as well, get into dangerous situations to try to get 'rescued' by the ninja he has his eyes on.

Goals: To find someone to complete him.
Alignment: Chiyoko

Canon Personality: N/A

History: Kishikoi Akarui is a pure bred member of the Leaf Village. As a young child, he has many issues containing his energy. Most of his early ninja classes turned out in disaster, Akarui's attention span often matching that of a goldfish. Most early attempts to contain this energy failed, much to the frustration of his parents and teachers.

A year into his ninja training, a blessing came to both Akarui and his previous instructors (and parents). It was an old swordsman who had a very fluid style that Akarui saw as beautiful. If he was going to fight, he had to have that style. However, the whole logic behind the style was a focus that was beyond Akarui's span. Few expected him to succeed at it and after two years of attempting to control himself, Akarui was eventually able to preform the Tenmaru Kanzen. This training accelerated Akarui's training, easily catching up for those years when he was unable to control his focus. While he still was relatively easily distracted when it wasn't required, he could focus if he truly needed to and he showed many of the people that doubted him that he was actually quite clever - odd, but clever.

Unfortunately, Akarui, while a proficient user of the Tenmaru, and reflexively the Jimaru, he had many issues finding an appropriate style of ninjutsu to suit himself. Many of the techniques he created had limited usefulness. Of course, this might have been a bit because of his obsession with befriending the hummingbirds. The same elderly man that had taught him the Tenmaru suggested that they work with what Akarui already expressed interest in, rather than attempt to divert him to what they wanted. Agreeing, mostly because there was no other option, his teachers developed a specialized curriculum focusing on his liking for plants and hummingbirds.

It was soon realized he had a gift with plants. It was not quite like the Mokuton, as this required Akarui had seeds to start with, or already live plants. By thrusting chakra into the seeds, they could rapidly grow. It was under the tutelage of none other than Ayameko Shikata, Chiyoko's adoptive mother, that he learned to use the full potential of this power. Not only would he rapidly gain new techniques during the next few years, but Ayameko would gift him with items that Chiyoko could never use - mainly her throwing knives, seeds, and her very precious sword, the Makimasu.

As Akarui got older, he began to feel the pangs of heart. It was discovered, at this time, that he was very emotionally fickle. He was fall in and out of 'love' rapidly. Crushes were a large part of his life at this time, often distracting him from more pressing matters. Only his meditation and the practice of the Tenmaru seemed to keep Akarui's progress from halting completely.

At 15, Akarui found a story he fell in love with. It was called Tsuyamono Mukashi Mukashi. It was a love story of two very starcrossed lovers and was incredibly cliche. However, at the end of the story, the two lovers were immortalized as 'spirits'. They became part of the nature they loved, turning themselves into hummingbirds known as Sky and Ray, representing the part of nature they associated with the best. It was said they became the first 'spirit hummingbirds'. Akarui's obsession with this story, while often scoffed at, led to the deeper story.

Akarui spent the next year obsessively trying to befriend the hummingbirds that were in Konoha. He did not try to capture them, but merely associated with them as much as possible. He was so sure the story was true and he was very desperate to find the spirits of Sky and Ray. After befriending many of the local hummingbirds with his calm presence, Akarui found what he was looking for. The two, more brilliant than all other, hummingbirds greeted Akarui. It was then, Akarui was confirmed in his thoughts... The story was a true account and the book itself was a summoning contract. He also made a pact with the book, granting him the power to summon spirit hummingbirds.

Sky and Ray were clearly the leaders of the spirit hummingbirds and there was no size difference between them and a normal hummingbird. Akarui worked with the two to develop a number of new techniques, including using the hummingbird's natural ability to feed off of chakra to form projectile weapons, most noteably, spiritual senbon. These were incredibly peculiar in their behavior, bypassing most defenses, although not very powerful. Raw chakra, in focused enough quantities could counter the senbon, converting the struck area into spiritual flowers. However, the technique was unphased by elemental defenses. They did not operate on a physical level. They struck the soul.

After studying this ability, Akarui begged Ayameko to help him forge his own sword, the Sakimasu. This weapon would be a staple. The next year of his time would be spent perfecting this weapons abilities. The beautiful jian was noted for its gorgeous shine and its powerful ability. Both the Makimasu and Sakimasu could absorb the energy from light and turn it into chakra. It wasn't a very fast rate, but Akarui's chakra use tended to be minimal. However, the Sakimasu possessed the further ability to turn energy into spiritual flowers when it made contact with a soul, chakra, or similar type of energy. With his skill in Kenjutsu, this ability would help him advance in the ranks of Konoha.

During his Chunin exams, Akarui's final fight was against a Hyuuga. He never remembered the name, but just the curves of the face. He was fairly decent looking and worthy of Akarui's admiration. However, the Hyuuga's fighting style was worthless against Akarui, who was able to counter his 64 Palms as well as cut his chakra defenses in two, turning them into fuel for his spiritual hummingbirds.

This garnered a lot of respect for the very peculiar Leaf Nin by many of the 'higher ups'. It was clear he could never be ANBU and his attention span prevented him from teaching. This left him in a peculiar position, in a limbo of the ninja ranks. No one doubted Akarui's skill.... however, there was just little he could do. He wore too vibrant of clothing to be any sort of assassin or stealth mission...

Akarui's time after his exams was spent practicing what he already knew. Unlike many, who did so well and were placed in a particular useful position in the village, Akarui was basically still a student. He continued to hone his skills until Iko became the new Hokage. With his history with Chiyoko, as well as knowing Iko, he knew he would be able to be given an appropriate rank and be able to aid in Chiyoko's mission. While Iko may not understand the full scope of what she was doing, he knew that Iko would approve of what he was told.

Akarui had waited for the last few weeks, after receiving message from Chiyoko, in Konoha, knowing that she would be there soon. Then, he could help her continue with her plan... the plan to stave off the dark forces that threatened to send the world into the darkness Chiyoko foresaw. The Bijuu were the key to the destruction and the saving of the world. Their transcendence...

You can't start with two dominants, only 1 dom and one recessive, the other must be trained in character

It has been changed. Not that it mattered because Akarui won't use either of those jutsu types. He just accelerates the growth of seeds.
