Breaking Peace

With a brush of air, Marixia's hair danced as the leaves surrounding her began to whistle and shuffle in the trees. Recently this day Rion, her older brother, had requested a fellow shinobi to spar her to test her abilities. She never took much interest in making war over peace but decided to give her abilities a test anyway to please her brother. Her green hues scanned the area. She had found herself in a meadow surrounded by some light trees. A dirt pathway led into this open field, a large rock lying near the right side of where she stood as it made a strange formation. The birds chirped a cheerful song in the trees as the kunoichi waited for her opponent. She did not know whom this person would be; their name, background information, jutsu. Which she held the belief he or she would not know of her either, a good sign. Either way, she hoped to take the victory in this friendly spar but was uncertain how it would turn out. For now, she would mentally build herself to not grow soft as she fought and maybe then her more darker side would come forth. She shuddered, not something she enjoyed but all well. Feeling the sun's heat beat down into the meadow, the morning dew had already evaporated as it was now roughly a little after noon. Standing in silence, she continued to wait on her opponent.

Cloud was laying peacefully against a tree in the meadows, listening to the soothing sounds from the waterfall, the birds chripping away to a nice song until suddenly a his phone began to ring. He shuffled into his pocket and pull out a cellphone " Hello..........a requested fight? with who.........I see....I accept. Send me the coordinates to where the fight suspose to be." Cloud hung up and then suddenly and incoming text appeared on his phone that showed him where he was suspose to fight. ......Not that far from here.. Cloud closed his phone shut then headed off towards the direction to where he is to have this fight. A few minutes later Cloud appeared walking a dirt path leading to an open field, he notice a kunoichi standing in the middle of the field, he walked up to her and stopped about 20 meters from her to give himself some to react to any susprise attacks. .....She looks strong....stronger than any kunoichi i ever meet. " My name is Cloud nice to meet you...." Cloud waited for her reply then spoke again. " I guess i'm your oppenent for this little sparring match......well best of luck and may the best ninja win." Cloud backed up a litte bit futher but still kept his eyes on her, he got into his stance and waited for her to make her move.

Marixia nodded as she saw the opponent come forth. Could of been a coincidence but she didn't complain. It appeared it was her turn to make a move. Already she bound forth and closed in the meters. Coming to a distance of at least six meters she reached into her pouch as she retrieved some items and immediately tossed them towards the ninja known as Cloud. Next she tossed her hand a second time to release the remaining items she held. Metal kunai gleamed a tad in the sun as the items made their way towards him, Marixia sliding to a halt as soon as the items left her hands. Standing at about five meters from Cloud, she motioned a few hand signs as the items were already closing in on Cloud from the front and sides. It was his move now as some kunai aimed for both of his shoulder blades, one for his neck, two towards his abdomen, two towards his chest chest, and one towards the center of his head.

Cloud knew the battle had started as the mysterious kunoichi suddenly began closing the gap between him and her, Cloud reached for the Gunblade on his back and unsheath it, as soon as he did the Kunoichi reached into her pouch and pulled out metal kunai's and threw them at different point on his body. Just like target pratice.... Cloud put his finger on the trigger of the Gunblade and jumped back he shoot down the kunai's aimed for his neck, abdomen, and chest. He then ducked down to avoid the kunai's aimed for his shoulder blades, as he was crouched on the ground he fired two shoot aimed for her shoulders, one shoot for her knee's, then another aimed for her chest. Bam kept calm and took note of her of her battle style in order to get a hint of her next attack. He then motioned a few handsigns just to in case of a susprise attack.

As Cloud aimed and began to shoot the kunai this gave Marixia enough time to move as she carried out her plan. Staying light on her feet she slammed her foot down on the ground before a pillar of fire roughly two feet wide and five feet tall rose out of the ground beneath Cloud's feet. All of which happening just before he crouched down due to the time it took to shoot the kunai aimed for him. The kunai aimed for his shoulder blades and head would continue their path. If these had missed, the three delay kunai she had thrown right after would pierce his head, chest, and lower half.

Overall these kunai were just a distraction, one that worked, and now she had time to move again. Hand going within her pouch she grasped three items before casting them at Cloud and pushing off the ground to place some distance between them. Once two of these hit the fire they would explode in their individual blasts, if not, the third would explode as back up. What would Cloud do?

While Cloud was shooting at the kunai's he began to feel heat coming from underneth him ........Damn Cloud jumped back just in the niche of time and out of range from the pillar of fire, but as soon as he landed back on his feet he notice the kunai's that he was trying to shoot down were still heading straight for him. She's good......real good Cloud motioned handsigns and managed to throw the Gunblade toward her as the kunai's were inching closer, and then the kunai's connected with him, but suddenly he poof and log appeared where he was. Suddenly the Gunblade poof and revealed Cloud with the real Gunblade on his back and the distance between them was 10 meters, he then motion another set of handsigns and focus his chakra to his mouth. He then blew out a wave of fire toward the items she threw, Suddenly the explosion from the items knocked him back far enough that it seperated them futher We both use fire ninjutsu.....this going to be a long battle Bam motioned handsigns then pulled out the gunblade again, and fired multiple shots aimed for different parts of the body. ....I'm going to need a clear shot

Marixia hummed lightly at the slight admiration of his dodge and attack. The gun blade aimed for the other weapons knocked them off course, a log appearing where he was ans causing her guard to raise. As he reappeared and formed seals, Marixia waited, her stance in a fashion to where she could dodge. As a fireball erupted between them then, the two methanol bombs and explosive pouch did what they do best as she formed hand signs again. She wasn't entirely sure if they hit which due to the fact fireball only went a distance of roughly 5 meters, and if not, she easily had enough time to dodge while forming two sets of seals.

Hearing the shots fire, Marixia knew he couldn't see her enough to truly hit without missing and giving away where he was shooting. Thus why she could dodge. Meanwhile the shots gave him away as someone appeared from behind him and threw another few items at his back and neck. For all he knew, this was the real Marixia. Meanwhile, Marixia herself had already formed the second set of signs as she managed to close in and inhale. On her exhale she released a large ball of fire roughly larger then his original as she used his fire to her advantage. Her fire collided with his and pushed his blast back towards him, creating a larger and hotter fire due to the two merging. From there, she would wipe around the left side while the clone attacked him from behind. Something rested in hand as she prepared to attack and even defend, her gait still hidden by the fire.

....Looks like she came prepared for battle. I better play it safe for now Cloud stopped firing blindly into the fire and motioned handsigns and focused the chakra to his hand, suddenly Marixia appeared behind him and threw the same items like before at him. Cloud decided to use them to he's advantage, he slammed his hand into the ground and a Barrier of fire surronded him just as the items were about to hit him, he knew that if it was the same items they would exploded in front of her and caused her some damage. Cloud couldn't see what was happening outside of the barrier, but neither could she see him. Cloud decided to prepare his seal just in case .....I never thought i would have to use this on a women. Suddenly Cloud heared a loud noise outside, then something big hit the barrier disturbing the flow of chakra in the barrier ......she must of combine my fire attack with her's. Cloud focused on the seal and also on the barrier so that it wouldn't break.

As the barrier of fire burst forward it was already rather late due to the time it took to motion hand signs compared to the limited time she had given him based on rate of speed. She were only roughly one to two meters behind him after all. The three aimed kunai would pierce past his neck if not through and into his back or chest. Attached to the ends of these kunai though were exploding pouches tied on, exploding as soon as they were only a few centimeters from him and thus would blast him back. Utilizing his jutsu against him, it would have only caused him to be pushed back into not only his own fire but the one that was heading towards him as well. Besides that, the sudden explosives at such a close range held the ability to possible even knock him unconscious or make it very difficult to think straight. The explosion did take out her clone though, only proving all the more the ferocity of the blast.

As the two combined fire jutsu collided into his fire barrier they would cause the fire barrier to most likely become uncontrolled and result in him burning do to her own chakra and the fact it was still fire. He had set himself up for his own demise. With this said and fire already collided, the true Marixia now came in as she threw out six shuriken, thin beams of light following their paths as they began to curve themselves around the foe. Her fingers moved slightly as she waited to see if he could somehow manage to get out of all this happening all at once. She barely gave him any time to spare, that was for sure.

Even though Cloud performed the jutsu the time frame between her attack was too slow, Cloud notice the kunai's coming in and at the last minutes he lowered his head and the kunai grazed the back of his neck and the one aimed for his back connected, then he raised his hand with the gunblade in it and knocked the kunai off aimed for his chest, but what he didn't know was that attached to the end of them was explosives and to make things worse the barrier of fire came up just then and Cloud was trapped with explosive in side the barrier DAMN IT....... Suddenly a loud explosion was heard from inside the barrier, which also made the barrier unstable and the huge fireball made by him and her attack crashed into the barrier. Another explosion was made when the Fireball and the barrier clashed together, it knocked up a huge cloud of smoke. As the huge fire blazed across the field, the real Marixia appeared and blindly threw six shuriken into the cloud of smoke, Cloud was bleeding badly from the back as the explosion left it charred then all of a sudden the shuriken wrapped around his body and stab him " Ahhhh......" Cloud slowly rose to his feet and looked at Marixia " I underestimated your strength.....you truly are a strong oppenet, guess....it time to stop holding back." Suddenly Cloud eyes became red and weird marking appeared on his back and chest, then Black wings began to protrude out of his back, horns grew out of his head, then every muscles in his body grew larger so much that the kunai's and shuriken were push out of his body by it, his hands transform into something demonic. Cloud had a completed his transformation but what carnation did he transform into....

As she felt the shuriken wrap around she pulled on the wire, tightening the bindings around him as the wire would then began to die into his skin and open wounds. Marixia motioned hand signs as soon as she felt the wires wrap she didn't even give him that chance to speak as she limited his reaction time. After they wrapped, tightened, and hand signs were formed, she inhaled before she released breaths of fire. Using the smoke to her advantage, this fire would quickly travel down the path of these wires before it would be to late for him to realize what was happening. The fire would engulf him, creating heat on the wire that would cause them to release slight fumes; the reason she now held her breath. These fumes would also increase fire hazard, only causing him to burn more besides the fact he would then inhale the slight fumes.

Unlike regular wire, this was a rather poor conductor of heat but this did not make it weaker nor change the fact that this amount of fire was still able to increase heat slightly. The reason any of this was happening was merely due to the fact his wire was special wire. It was made out of mercury oxide and thus why Marixia wore her the fireproof gloves, despite dealing with fire jutsu. They were to not only protect her from these flames, like the rest of her wear, but to avoid any cuts to prevent her skin from ingesting the mercury. Which was exactly what was happening to Cloud right now.

Already he would most likely the mercury burning into his skin even if he somehow managed to avoid the fire. This would irritate it and thus cause nerve receptors to go off. It wouldn't take long for him to begin to feel the effects of mercury poisoning as it wrapped around him; the itching and irritating skin the first symptom of it all. Even this bit of mercury would make its way in and cause some extra sweating; something that would just make him more dehydrated then what he may already feel from the fire in previous attacks and what may have hit him now. The mercury's touch would also begin to block Cloud's degradation pathway of Catecholamine; "fight of flight" hormones. Overall, Marixia felt it would be his body that could tear him down rather than his spirit.
