Description: Shimasu Eien (Surge Needle Style) is a very versatile Kekkei Genkai that gives the user two abilities over their Chakra:
- The Ability to Radiate and Control their chakra
Incredibly precise control over Radiated Chakra, Ninjutsu and Surge Needle technique, Especially Radiated Chakra and Surge Needle technique.

The Shimasu Eien (Surge Needle Style) also endows the user with several abilities relating to the chakra around them:
The ability to sense the chakra of anyone in their vicinity as an imbalance in their own
The ability to draw the chakra in a specific area to a single point (and move it)

Shimasu Eien (Surge Needle Style) creates a very noticeable change in the user as it gives them a permanent aura of chakra. This aura, however, changes in both intensity and colour depending on the emotion the user is feeling, and how strong said emotion is. There is no specific body change, but many people undergo an eye-colour change, from whatever they are born with to a deep azure, though it takes three predominant forms:
-Speckles of Azure in the Iris
-An entirely blue iris
Or -A blue cross that crosses even the pupil.

The last form has been known to severely impair sight and is very rare in itself - but even rarer is someone with the blue cross who has perfect sight. The chances of this happening are around 1 in 900,000, but it has been known - Lei Thorn, the current female head of the Clan has the blue cross, but her vision is severely impaired - And even rarer is Ra Thorn, who also has the blue cross but has perfect vision. Physically, the Shimasu Eien (Surge Needle Style) tends to deteriorate muscles in old age, but those who wield it extremely proficiently always keep perfect muscle stature in even old age - Though none of the older members have had this, so it is difficult to tell how rare it is.

The ability to radiate chakra takes many forms and is most commonly used as a passive ability to dampen enemies’ chakra attacks and strengthen the chakra-based attacks of allies, but as the kekkei genkai is so versatile, almost anything can be done with it.

The controlling ability of the chakra is like having a powerful dominant specialty in Chakra Control - It also has the added bonus of being able to quicken handsigns at the cost of using more chakra, but as few Thorn members rely on speed, this ability is hardly ever used, other than extreme emergencies.

Weakness: The weakness of the Shimasu Eien (Surge Needle Style) is that it completely nullifies the users’ ability to perform more than two or three types of Jutsu, and the Thorn clan’s training policies put this into action by forcing members to start combat training from the age of 6, and forcing them to specialize their jutsu types early - which commonly leads to lack of knowledge in the other areas of jutsu, many users are clueless as to the other types other than those they have specialised in, so do not know how to defend against them very well.
