Description: The Warglaives are a set of, as you can imagine, glaives. They are renowned as being blades of immense sharpness and of impeccable quality, but their abilities are what them shine:

The owner of the Warglaives is subject to their aura constantly and this affects them in one of two ways, it will either enhance their neurological pathways and increase their reaction speeds drastically or (it is thought that) they possess Eris’ gift, which allows them to scatter any solely chakra-based attack that has remained untainted by elements so long as it does not exceed the Warglaives’ power. (The bearer’s strength and rank determine the power of the warglaives.) As a precaution, the warglaives’ handles are also insulated to guard against electrical attacks.

For Clarification: The time needed to react to things is roughly halved, and things that would be noticed later are noticed earlier. E.G., Someone is throwing shuriken and you do not realize until they are thrown. With the warglaives, you would most likely notice the hand movements as they reach for the Shuriken.

The ability to disrupt chakra-based attacks is not instant - E.G - someone is slamming a rasengan into you. If it is at equal or lower rank it will begin to fall apart the more it is touching the blades. This ability is used primarily for the dispelling of genjutsu, however, as it disrupts the foreign chakra in the body.

History: The Warglaives of Eien are a set of mythical blades forged by Aynisataketakama, Mikikiko, Tuujaima and Jasmikaa after the defection and slaughtering of Sanketsueki. It is said that the Great Tree of Eien saw his two daughters, Eris and Harmonia, fighting over the state of the mortal world and wept a single metal acorn in seeing his daughters fight. As Eris and Harmonia clashed their powers equally infused the acorn and it blossomed with power, becoming a tree made of a metal with unparalleled hardness. Eris and Harmonia both wept at this tree and blessed it, Eris giving it the power of chaos to keep it from harm and Harmonia blessing it with the power of Order, allowing any damage to the tree to be repaired.

Aynisataketakama grew jealous and envious of this metal tree and called upon his fellow gods to craft the tree into a marvelous blade that would ensure they were never forgotten on the mortal realm. Mikikiko summoned the tree with her mastery over all flowers and nature and blessed it with her Heaven Carnation, giving the tree a timeless luster. Jasmikaa summoned forth a violent wind and stripped the tree of its branches and leaves, giving the blade unparalleled strength. Aynisataketakama took the trunk and threw it into the forge of the north, tempering it into two warglaives of immense beauty. Tuujaima finally used his water to cool and forever bind the warglaives. The blades were then thrown from the heavens unto the Mortal realm, where Liato Thorn was stricken and killed by the blades. The gods took pity on the man’s family and entrusted them with the blades, committing them to warfare and a life of eternal training. A member of the Thorn clan wielded the warglaives for generations, surpassing all other kenjutsu users in combat until the bearer was defeated, and the warglaives were thought to be stolen. Closer to the present, the Warglaives were recovered by an explorer and returned to the Thorn Clan graciously, and since then three bearers have taken on the burden of the warglaives - untouched in shine, luster and condition.

How much is drastically? I really don't understand the correlation between neurological reaction etc and a sword

Can you simplify the second bold statement? Exactly how does this power come about? I can see if it was forged to defend a specific element.
