Personality: Being blind has humbled Misuto. He is kind and will go out of his way to protect or help anyone. His best friend is his hawk Hogosha. He is quite fun to do things with although he is sad because he is often avoided, because of his blindness. His other senses are exceptionally acute because of his blindness. He is a smart and is a quick learner.

History: His parents knew Misuto would be blind when he was born. A fact he often resented them for. An ancient curse was put on his family. The first child of every other generation would be born blind. Misuto was the only child in this generation, so he was bound to get it. However, his family had developed a way to counteract the loss of sight. Their sense of touch was super strengthened, when their feet were on the ground they could feel vibrations.

Before he learned to walk he had to be watched every minute. He couldn't see, so anything was a danger to him. "Blindness is not a disability, my son, it is a trait that you possess. Much like there are people who are born stupid or those who are born smart. You were born blind." his father often said. Misuto often was irritated when his father said it. One day he voiced his irritation "What do you know old man, you don't even know what its like to be blind."

When Misuto turned seven, just before entering the ninja academy, his father got an idea. His father gave him a hawk. . The hawk would be Misuto's eyes, guiding him, protecting him from danger, and most importantly making sure he did not bump into things. They named the hawk Hogosha. His father said its name meant guardian, which is what it was to Misuto. Working with is father they trained the hawk and Misuto to work in unison

The training did not take long, the bird was smart and Misuto was a quick learner. The bird would squawk when Misuto was about to bump into things. During his academy years, the bird would make a slightly different noise when Misuto was dangerous or in danger of being hit by anything, wether it be a jutsu or a kunai.

His parents were worried when Misuto decided to enter the ninja academy. How could their blind son become a ninja. They worried that he would go on a mission and get injured or die. Misuto was determined to prove them wrong, he was determined to be the best ninja ever. He was determined to become Hokage.

The Academy did their best to accommodate for Misuto. They gave him braille workbooks and worksheets. He did perfectly well on all assignments and all training exercises. However, one thing was not perfect. All the children either feared or made fun of him. It was in these moments he understood his fathers words, "Blindness is not a disability, my son, it is a trait that you possess. Much like there are people who are born stupid or those who are born smart. You were born blind." He would go out of his way to make friends, thinking "I am no different then them. They have blue eyes, I am blind. I could not choose this anymore than they can choose their eye color."

Misuto graduated near top of the class and was assigned to a team with two other genin. They went on a few missions, but were not particularly close. When the chunin exams came around, Misuto was the only one who made it to the tournament exam. Though his fighting style was unusual, he managed to pass. His days as a genin were over he was now a chunin. After becoming a chunin he was replaced on his team. Now wandering solo, he looks for another team. Determined to not let his blindness limit his life he continues to train and go on missions.

*TIME SKIP*

On a new team with Ken, Maoa and Migato he became good friends with them. However, shortly after meeting them the catastrophe of the Phoenix occurred. Some time during the tragedy his parents were killed. When he learned of the death of his Misuto became withdrawn. He was distant from the team and less friendly. Over this time Misuto Devoloped an Interest in Medical Jutsu, to prevent those he cared about from dying

In his darker personality, Misuto lost contact with most of his friends. But, it didn't really matter to him. He helped rebuild Kohona and after the village was finished bought in a small apartment, towards the edge of the village, where he now lives. Now that the village is back on his feet, Metsuki has called the team back together. Misuto, isn't sure how the team well this will work for him, but he is going to follow orders.
