Description: This Ninjutsu technique allows the user to focus chakra into a volume of water, removing any minerals, harmful substances, and other impurities from it. This process can be used to remove poison, and ensure the safety of consumed water in general. As well, the removal of minerals eliminates the electrical conductivity of water, greatly lessening the effects of lightning-based techniques that would normally be amplified in contact with it. The amount of water able to be purified at one time increases with the skill of the user, a few gallons at most for a Genin, but scaling up to a whole pond or more at Jounin and higher.

Weakness: Although purified water cannot technically conduct electricity, if the amount of water the electricity is passing through is small enough, it will not hinder a strong bolt from traveling straight to a target.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique that coats the user and anything he/she is in immediate contact with in a thin layer of water chakra, dampening the effects of fire-element techniques used on them. This will prevent burns caused by average heat attacks, although at first it cannot withstand high-intensity flames. The fire resistance increases with skill level, with the general rule of fairly good protection against fire attacks used by Ninja at the same level of the user.

Weakness: Strong fire attacks can easily penetrate the barrier with little to no dampening.

Description: After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja will form a circular shape with their hands, creating a small field of water chakra in the space made. They will then focus chakra in their lungs, expelling it through the opening in their hands to send a vortex of chakra-charged bubbles at their opponent. Upon contact with other objects, the bubbles will pop, releasing a small burst of chakra. The vortex can be released anywhere from a focused jet to a wide spray; however, the more focused, the farther the technique will go.

Weakness: The bubbles can easily be popped before reaching their target, making them reliant on their quantity over quality.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique that uses a burst of water at the ninja's feet to charge at the foe at an awesome speed, occasionally with enough power to knock the wind out of them. The technique's name comes from the force of the burst, which has been used to climb waterfalls.

Weakness: The user must be focused when the attack is launched, or risk a burst in the wrong direction.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like a normal blade. If thrown or knocked out of the hand, the blade will disperse back into water after a few moments.

Weakness: As the blade is made of water, it cannot stay in a solid form without at least a little focus.

Description: An improved version of Hidden Waterfall Style: Water Slicing Blade; A Ninjutsu technique that creates up to six swords of water in the air above the user. These can be manipulated at the user's will to be hurled at an opponent, or to block projectiles. As the blades are not kept in contact with the user to keep their form, they will revert back into water shortly after impact, be it offensive or defensive.

Weakness: The blades are one-shot use, and require the jutsu to be performed again to make more.

Description: The most powerful version of Hidden Waterfall Style: Water Slicing Blade; A Ninjutsu technique that, when the user holds their hands into the air and activates the jutsu, creates a large azure-colored sword brimming with chakra. This "shining" sword can be used to slash downward in a sweeping arc (much like a katana or greatsword), or hurled forward in a projectile-like manner (in which the sword would crash into the foe). Like the previous forms of the jutsu, summoning the blade does not require a nearby source of water.

Weakness: The attack must be charged, and requires a lot of chakra to perform. For this reason, it is typically used as a finishing move.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique usable with a bladed weapon; the Ninja forms Water Chakra around the blade, and with a slash hurls an extremely fast, crescent-shaped blast of water in a straight path toward the enemy. It can cut through rice paper!

Weakness: As it travels in a straight line, the attack can be dodged if one is fast enough, or parried like any other sword blow.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around the ninja. The water acts both as a barrier and attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious.

Weakness: The high-energy technique requires a relatively large amount of chakra to use, and if put into motion can be hard to control.

Description: Mizu no Muchi is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a whip. The whip easily conducts electricity, as well as chakra. If the ninja has a lightning affinity, they can also send an electric current through the whip to electrocute their opponent. The whip will function in the normal fashion, both as a weapon and as a supplementary device, such as rope.

Weakness: The whip of water is roughly as strong as normal cord; with a good cutting weapon or enough strength, it can easily be broken.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby.

Weakness: As stated above, the user (or clone) must maintain physical contact with the prison at all times in order for it to remain stable.

Description: A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target. The variation learned in the Waterfall Village is slightly different, in that the jutsu requires only four hand seals rather than the 50+ required for the Mist variant.

Weakness: The jutsu requires a nearby source of water to use, and typically only gets one rush at the opponent before dissipating.

Description: a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.

Weakness: As stated above, if the water clone travels out of range of the user, it will disperse back into water.

Description: When activated, a field is created around the user that completely suppresses all Doujutsu (besides the Aiirogan) within the sphere of effect. While the field doesn't take concentration to keep up, it costs chakra from the user proportionate to the skill level and quantity of Doujutsus within the field. The higher the resistance the opposing Doujutsu has, the more chakra it pulls from the user to suppress it, meaning the user must be wary of his opponents' skill level, or else risk chakra exhaustion.

Description: Using the Aiirogan to better sense the natural chakra around them, the user manipulates the chakra in their feet to move quickly and fluently across the ground or water, almost making a gliding or skating effect. The Aiirogan is needed to properly sense the natural chakra, as it's much harder than matching the surface of water or a tree.

Weakness: The technique is fairly ineffective on uneven ground.
