Night vs Kenshi

A calm wind blew through the trees causing the branches to creek and leaves flying off of those branches down onto the ground. As Night walked through the huge forest he was in he couldn't help but feel that something was off,he then unslinged his sniper rifle holding it steady which made him feel alittle better. Though of course not much since he didn't really have any idea on what could be following him if anything at all the sun bright in the sky was then soon covered by a few clouds shading the area around him.

He stopped near a creek sitting down on a rock taking a breather before getting up and splashing some water on his face. Night still felt uneasy as he gripped his rifle he took a few steps back taking a good look around in the trees,suddenly though he took off running and whatever was following him was close behind he ran and ran though not looking ahead of himself he smacked right into a tree and fell over dazed for the momment before shaking it off and getting up rubbing his head. "Ow...next time looking where im going.."Night thought,he then heard a rustle in the bushes aiming his rifle he got ready to fire,though what came out of the bushes was nothing more then a harmless little rabbit.

Night then laughed to himself as all this time he thought he was being chased by an enemy ninja when infact it was just a harmless rabbit. He shook his head and slinged his sniper rifle back on his back,walking up to the rabbit he knelt down petting its soft head. Though the rabbit's ears went to attention and then suddenly scampered away from Night back in the bushes,Night then got up slowly staying in place as the wind blew once more.

Kenshi was out in the forest by a lake side, thinking about his children. All three of them, and of course his lovely wife Rin. He was a shinobi now, but more importantly he was a father. Could he juggle both? Could he handle being a father and a ninja at the same time. Kenshi wanted to raise his children to be fighters of course, but at the same time he didn't want them to be raised like he was. If it wasn't for the fact that Kenshi had to read scrolls to be able to learn ninjutsu, he would have been illiterate. His whole life was nothing but non-stop training, and that was what he was born for. To fight. In a way he felt that he should give his children the option to learn about ninjutsu, but at the same time he knew that teaching ninjutsu would be best for them.

Even though so many things were running through his mind. He had been wanting a good fight for a while. Standing up over the lake, Kenshi readjusted the large weapon on his back. His dark leather suit looked ominous in the night, but it was just the normal attire that any shinobi like him would wear. Covered from his neck to his feet in the dark leather, he adjusted his weapons holsters before moving off into the forest. Kenshi got the odd feeling that someone was around, but dismissed it for an owl that scurried in front of him, landing at his 7 o' clock to catch a rat. His feet crunched through the forest until he got to the edge of it, were someone was definitely there.

His eyes were not that great in the dark, so with the aid of his Sharingan, Kenshi instantly spotted a person not too far from him. Making his entrance known by snapping a branch, the shinobi's attention turned towards him. Kenshi spoke clearly, so the shinobi could hear. "I don't know who you are, but I've been wanting to battle anyone for a good while now. If you call yourself any type of ninja, if you deem yourself as somewhat powerful, fight me or be called a coward". With that, a soft and warm wind blew from behind Kenshi, carrying leaves in it as the wind made its way towards the stranger. The warm wind felt good, and would probably give both of them a good feeling before the battle

As the branch snapped Night turned around facing Kenshi as he noticed his attire and having sharingan"hmm...an uchiha out here? thats odd..."Night thought as he looked over Kenshi once more listening to him. He raised an eyebrowl"is that how you always meet and greet other ninja?....well I guess it can't be helped so I guess I accept your challenge"Night replied to Kenshi.

Though instead of coming right at Kenshi Night backflipped onto a tree branch and raced off heading into a deeper thicker part of the forest he figured Kenshi would follow him. Along the way Night took out his bow readying an arrow he wouldn't use his sniper just yet untill sometime later he wanted to know how good this uchiha was.

Kenshi was stumped as to why the shinobi instantly moving away. 'What the hell? What's wrong with fighting me here?? Well at any rate I guess I will have to follow him'. Adjusting the 'Crocodile' on his back, Kenshi bent his knees and jumped forward, following behind the shinobi. Kenshi automatically assumed that he would be following him into some sort of trap, but was prepared for anything the shinobi would try to throw at him

As Night moved he turned around jumping back across a branch pulling back his arrow and aiming"be not thou far from me oh lord"Night said silently to himself as he then let the arrow fly straight and fast and at that momment he touched the other branch as he jumped off of it and backflipped landing on the ground heading into a bush hiding. As he hid he took out some explosive tags setting one on the bush and then putting away his bow taking out a kunai.

Although Night didn't have a set plan,he was making it up as he went along he just needed Kenshi in the right position for him to use his sniper rifle which is why he isn't using it yet,he then put the kunai down next to the note and slid it just out far enough for Kenshi to see it so it gave off a shinning light due to the sun. He himself needed the advantage of the high ground plus the right angle of firing,Night then slowly moved away from the bush as to not cause a stirr sliding down a steep hill and waiting silently for the uchiha to arrive.

In the steep hill he dug a quick hole putting in another note and then covering it up. Sounds of the wind and a few animals such as birds could be heard,it was silent for the momment. Night held his breath waiting and waiting for the uchiha to arrive.

As Kenshi arrived to the new battle spot, he couldn't tell what was going on. With an incoming arrow, he was a bit preoccupied with the fact that the opponent was out of sight. Kenshi's eyes instantly alerted him about the arrow, and as he quickly reached for a kunai in his pocket, Kenshi brought the kunai up and blocked the arrow with the kunai, causing the arrow to spin in mid air as it was stopped. He caught the arrow and examined it, wondering why someone would use should ancient methods of battling in a modern world. 'If it wasn't for that flash of light alerting my senses he would have caught my ear with his...'

Kenshi peered around with his eyes wondering what was up with his opponent in the forest. Information began to flash through his head. The battle grounds, his opponent, his choice of weapons and even his current situation. Putting it together was a crucial step in determining the advantages he had in this fight. 'Seems like he's a stealth type. He used arrows because they emit little noise and are very small. The fact that he's hiding only proves this more. He's using that kunai over there to throw off something, maybe it was to try and stop me from seeing the arrow coming towards me. He did have that rifle on his back...I'm now 100% sure he's a stealth fighter. This will be interesting.'

He knew that those arrows were hard to dodge and not even his Sharingan would help him that much in this battle. His opponent was probably a long range fighter, but Kenshi also had some long range ninjutsu. With the aid of his Sharingan, Kenshi could see his opponent hiding not too far away from him, but blending perfectly in with the bushes. He was lucky he had his Sharingan on. Kenshi took the initiative to take the first move. Grabbing a summons scroll, Kenshi took the initiative and summoned a large amount of shuriken in his hand. A sword also appeared in his hand, the sword he called "Kire". Holding the large sword in his right hand, Kenshi unleashed a barrage of shuriken from his left. Throwing about ten of them towards the spot where his opponent was. Continuing the attack, Kenshi focused himself on the opponent as he momentarily lost grip of his blade, before catching it right before it hit the ground. Pointing his left finger towards his shinobi he called him out. "Stop hiding and face me you bastard"

Senseing that the uchiha was nearby and was right he heard the shuriken as they were thrown towards the bush. Night then quickly made handsigns exploded the note that was in the bush which made the shuriken get thrown back towards Kenshi and the kunai before propelled out of the bush. He then brought out his bow again moving back as he prepared another arrow only this one was not only a prenetrating arrow but it also had an explosive arrowhead on it,he then moved silently jumping over the stream of water he came upon a tree climbing it and sitting himself on one of the branches.

Moving to a good open spot on the branch he pulled back the arrow aiming dead on at Kenshi"all my strength,haste thee to help me"Night said silently before firing the arrow. Even if Kenshi jumped to the side or the arrow shifted in direcetion hitting near him the explosion would be big enough to cause some amount of damage to him. Though he himself now had the advantage since they were in the forest and he was a more long ranged fighter then close range even though he did know some taijutsu.

Kenshi was surprised to the extent of planning used by his opponent. To create this type of area to fast, it was very surprising for Kenshi to believe. 'I can't believe he set all this up in this area, but at the same time I can. Even though it's a pretty great plan, he just reduced all of that energy and effort into to nothingness. He's booby-trapped the area around me, but I knew he would be up to something. Plus that incoming arrow only helps prove that's where he is.' Kenshi's focused zoomed into the oncoming tools that were coming towards him. His opponent had taken the blast from the explosive notes and sent the tools whizzing back at him. The explosion caused a lot of them to go off-course, but the remaining ones were still a problem. Instantly squatting, Kenshi allowed all of the tools to pass over him, including the arrow that ended up in a tree on his right.

With the smoke lightly covering the forest, Kenshi took the time to use his advantage. With such a low position, this would be a perfect area use his technique. Kenshi focused his hand into the tiger handsign and then began to complete more handsigns as his chakra began to leak out all over the area. A hidden mist began to pour from his source, spreading out over the entire area. With his hand he directed the mist towards his opponent, and more mist began to come towards the true source of his opponent. With the mist up, Kenshi would be safe from of the arrows and the near perfect sight of his opponent. If the opponent was using explosive notes, it would be hard to set them off. Shadows began to move around in the mist and the eerie feeling of death crept around within it.

This would now be a test of his opponents endurance skill. Kenshi wasn't attacking him head on, but it was true that his opponent did not know where he was with the mist up. Kenshi would remain hidden until his opponent decided to move, or until he got tired of playing the waiting game. Either way, his opponent probably would take the cover of the mist and stay within it. Kenshi knew that if his opponent came within the mist he would have a harder time to see him, since his chakra would be blinding him also a bit.

As the arrow hit the tree it exploded sending splinters of wood in every direction as the tree then fell over creating a loud thud on the ground. He then noticed mist coming around the area,this was going to help but also hurt him since he wouldn't beable to see all that well but it helped him for he had cover of the mist on his side.

Night then lept off the tree branch he was on jumping to another tree and then another and another before stopping and sliding down the tree hitting the ground silently before crawling slowly to an overturned log. He readyed another explosive arrow and then waited for the oppurtuinity to come to him as neither of them moved and only the silence of the forest could be heard.

What at first sounded like releasing air began to sound like a blow torch. From within the mist, Kenshi could barely make out the movements of his opponent. He had to keep focus on him and he was lucky that his opponent was moving. He could see the slight chakra from his body move to a different position within the mist. It was his opponents mistake though, if he hadn't moved he would have been spotted. From deep within the low light of the mist, a small red light emitted from Kenshi's hand. This continued until another torch like fire was seen. The lights stopped along with the corrosive burning sound and shadows moved through the mist again.

From around his opponent a large snake began to make it's way throughout the mist. With the snake already being perfectly silent, the mist only made it more easier for the snake. It's tongue flickered out of its mouth silently as more and more snakes began to come from behind him. They all began to continue about, and began to create a small dome over the opponents position. Kenshi knew his opponent wouldn't pick up on the snakes, it would be impossible to under the mist. The snakes formed a perfect dome over his opponent, and waited there after completing the jutsu. However his opponent didn't notice the explosive notes on each of the snakes. Kenshi placed his hands in the tiger handsign and the dome of snakes exploded, shaking the ground and the massive log. Guts from the snake began to fly everywhere, and probably would splash on his face too. He wondered how his opponent would make it out.

As Night waited and waited for Kenshi to move it seemed a rather long time,but then he guessed he must have been doing something this whole time. Though he couldn't figure out what it was until a single explosion rang out over him,without even bothering to look up Night rolled to his right multiple times before hitting a bush causing it to shake and then rolling down another small hill. Hitting the bottom he was slightly dazed before shaking it off and brushing off leaves and dirt,suprisingly only some blood was on his shoe.

He wipped it off dragging his foot in the dirt wipping the blood off before heading over to the hill and climbing up it to get back to his opponent. Meanwhile back with Kenshi,the rabbit from before that had chased Night came out of a bush hopping up to the uchiha. The white rabbit stopped at Kenshi's feet staring up at him for a few momments,his nose twitching as he stared before hopping off away from the uchiha back into the bush.

Back with Night he hid behind a tree this time as he readyed a gas arrow,pulling it back he came from behind the tree firing the gas arrow. As the arrow soared in the air it hit the ground near where he guessed Kenshi was and then exploded with gas sending it in every direction spreading out the posionious gas.

Kenshi opponent was a different type of stealth shinobi. He didn't mind for the opponent to know his position. The normal stealth shinobi mainly focused on attacks with minor damage. However this one didn't mind some explosion. Kenshi's Sharingan though, was seeing all of his movements, so when his opponent drew his arrow back, Kenshi had already been prepared for the arrow to be launched at him. The area that Kenshi was in exploded into a spread of fire. Instatnly the whole side of the forest affected by the blast began to push down, and slide down the hill like an avalanche. Kenshi could be seen falling also, but an exploding shadow clone revealed that it wasn't Kenshi.

Now there was complete silence as parts of the forest began to slide down hill due to the explosion. Kenshi was no where to be seen and the sliding forest began to become a serious problem. Logs and movable debris began to slide down all over the place, sending a massive wave of dangerous debris in front of his opponent. Now all the mist was gone because of the explosion. It would be surely hard to continue up hill with everything slipping. Without warning, three Kenshi's appeared from no where. Two others appeared on either sides, all of them holding a sword in their hand. A Kenshi behind him, held nothing but a hilt of the sword in his hand. He appeared behind his opponent holding it at his neck. Kenshi pulled the sword up as to cut him, but it probably was some trick seeing as the sword didn't seem to have a blade. Kenshi was open to an attack though, being so close. If his opponent just moved back a little, he would fall back and slide down the hill.

As the explosion rang out Night got up but only to be met with a hilt of a sword to his neck. He smirked somewhat and used his bow pushing back the hilt and quickly placing down something on the ground where he stood leaping back hitting a truck of a tree and bouncing off of that and onto a tree branch before turning around to Kenshi. "Well you know what they say,if a tree falls in a forest does it make a sound?"Night asked as he then quickly made handsigns. What was on the ground that Night had placed was an explosive note.

It then blew in an explosion as Night then moved once again deeper into the forest,he was ahead of the uchiha so he would have time to get in a hit. Moving quickly he put away his bow taking out his sniper rifle,stopping near a hole he got down,grabbin some twigs,branches,leaves,moss and whatever else he could find to concel himself and the rifle. Once everything was set it would be hard to tell where he was,since he was hidden so well as was the rifle none of it hardly showing to give off a reflection to give away his position.

Kenshi smiled as his opponent figured out one of the best ways to dodge against his technique. Putting the hilt of the sword carefully in his mouth again, Kenshi swallowed it as he continued on. His opponent was not that fast, but fast for his level. However, he couldn't hide from his Sharingan. It was futile. There was no way he could hide from his chakra no matter what. Kenshi's speed was enough to get close to him from any distance without trouble at all. Turning towards his direction, Kenshi disappeared.

The sliding forest stopped as all the debris rushed from the top of the hill into a small valley. Everything made a loud crashing noise as it came to a stop, sending a few birds from there perches. Silence one again crept through the forest, with nothing but june-bugs and ambient sounds keeping the heart of the forest alive. Kenshi's image suddenly appeared on a tree branch directly over the opponent. He wouldn't know that he was there, his appearance was too soft. Kenshi's focus turned to the rifle that he was using, no doubt for a last attempt to finish him off. However, Kenshi was S Rank and his opponent was too weak to keep up with him. His stealth had failed, his arrows had failed and now he was open to attack. Instead of attacking, Kenshi jumped down next to him, landing before he could react. His fingers snapped, releasing a large sound over the silent forest. "Owari, sunaipa-chan". The boys body instantly froze up. Every single last muscle in his body froze, tensing up very tightly. His hand tensed up on the weapon and it froze also. His body shook as veins appeared all over his neck and forehead, and his breath could be heard pulsing under his grunts. Kenshi held his large blade in his hand, 'Kire' and brought it towards his neck. Slashing down on his neck he made a defiant 'thak' as blood rushed from the shinobi's neck and his head rolled away from his body. The heads last few moments looked around at Kenshi, relaxing as the blood flowed from his head, out of his body. Blood continued to rush from his body, creating a large pool of blood. Kenshi flung his blade back, cleansing the blood from it. Resting the back of his blade on his shoulder, he turned and walked away, whistling a song.
