A hush came over a crowd of people as they listened to a speech of a preacher,his voice speaking of greatness throughout the land and then going to the so called traitors of them. Upon a stage he stood and next to him two guards one on each side,and across from the stage was a bell tower and upon the egde of the bell tower stood "The flying eagle" otherwise known as Altair master assassin. As the bell run sginaling 12 'o clock Altair disappeared only to be in the crowd of people eyeing his target through his hood.

He gently pushed past people getting closer,but then he started almost in a run shoving people out of his way while grabbing a dagger,and as soon as he was close he threw the dagger right into the left guard's chest killing him instantly. Though as the left guard noticed this and swung with his sword his hand was grabbed and he was twisted around,stabbed with a dagger and then thrown to the ground as Altair put his foot to the guards chest and propelled off of him into the air.

The preacher was in shock and he backed up taking out his sword as to defend himself but Altair had extended his hidden blade and as soon as he came on him he stabbed the preacher in the head as he fell to the ground. Altair then slowly pulled out his hidden blade and closed the preechers eyes before then getting up and running as the guards gave chase.

Altair ran quick and swift jumping upon a cart and then grabbing a handle that came out of the building,he then swung himself onto a guard knocking him off his feet before running again. Though he stopped as two guards came infront of him which he then took out his longsword,as one of the guards swung at him. He blocked and then pushed away his blade before swinging around and slicing the guards chest knocking him off his feet as he died a momment later.

The next guard swung only downwards as Altair moved swift and grabbed at his hands before turning the guard around and stabbing him right through the chest,before pushing him off his blade and once again making his escape. He then decided to scale a building to get away from the guards,jumping from rooftop to rooftop as he came near an egde of a building,Altair jumped off and then spread out his body like that of an eagle landing right into a cart of hay.

Meanwhile the guards chasing after him completly overlooked the cart as they continued to run in the direction of the gate. After a few minutes Altair got out of the cart and walked in the opposite direction of the guards,blending in with the crowd so the guards would be unable to find the assassin.
